Cache Sensitive $B^+$ Trees with Partial Keys (부분키를 사용한 캐쉬 인식 $B^+$ 트리)

  • 캐쉬 인식 트리는 주기억장치의 느린 액세스 속도를 캐쉬를 활용함으로써 개선하려는 주기억장치 데이터베이스 인덱스이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 캐처 인식 트리에서 사용된 기법들을 살펴보고, 이를 통함, 개선하여 새로운 캐쉬 인식 트리를 제안한다. 기존의 캐쉬 인식 트리는 키 압축과 포인터 알축을 따로 고려하였기 때문에 각각 노드의 크기와 키의 길이 변화에 취약한 문제점이 있었다. 이에 반해 제안하는 부분키 캐쉬 인식 $B^{+}$트리는 키와 포인터를 동시에 압축하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하고. 보다 캐쉬 활용도를 높였다. 또한 제안하는 트리의 벌크로드, 삽입, 삭제 알고리즘을 제시하고 이론적인 분석 통길 각 알고리즘이 올바르게 수행되고, 성능에 개선됨을 확인하였다.

Survey on the Effects of Educational Intervention in Parents' Perceptions and Decisions Regarding Influenza Vaccination for Their Children Aged 6-59 Months (6-59개월 미만 자녀를 가진 보호자에게 홍보물 교육 유무에 따른 인플루엔자 및 인플루엔자 백신접종에 관련한 인식도 조사)

  • Purpose: To compare differences and changes in the parents' awareness regarding influenza and influenza vaccination for their children according to educational intervention. Methods: This study involved 1,034 parents with children aged 6-59 months, who lived in five areas in northern Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in 2015; the study was conducted using the questionnaire survey method. Survey items included awareness regarding influenza and influenza vaccination for children and future intentions of influenza vaccination and the underlying reasons. The participants were divided into 3 groups and differences according to education (group A: no education, group B: provided education) and the changes before and after education (group C) were analyzed. Results: Differences according to education between groups A and B were seen in the recognition of high-risk of influenza in their children, effectiveness of influenza vaccination, and cost of the influenza vaccine. Changes before and after education in group C were seen in the recognition of high-risk of influenza in their children, safety of influenza vaccination, cost of the influenza vaccine, and negativity toward the influenza vaccine. Conclusions: Educated parents were more aware regarding influenza and influenza vaccination for their children aged 6-59 months.

A Study on the Changes in the Domestic Start-up Environment and Start-up Perception: Focusing on the changes in 2016 and 2021 (국내 창업환경 및 창업인식 변화에 관한 연구: 2016년과 2021년 변화를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to examine the results of start-up policies of the previous government (2013-2017) and the current government (2017-2022). We would like to compare the perceptions of founders on the domestic start-up environment in 2016 and 2021. Based on the data (GETR) that surveyed the perception of the startup environment in 2016, a trend survey was conducted to compare the perception of the start-up environment of founders in 2021. As a result of the study, the founder's perception of the domestic start-up environment changed positively overall, but there was no significant change in the perception of 'tax adequacy', 'easy to recover investment', and 'easy to transfer technology'. In addition, the perception of the start-up environment of livelihood founders was negative compared to opportunity-type start-ups. As such, different results were found for each type of start-up. This study analyzed the difference in perception of the past and present start-up environment from the perspective of founders. In particular, I would like to propose a plan to improve the quality of the domestic start-up environment by seeking support measures for livelihood-type start-ups that have collapsed due to COVID-19.

  • 패턴의 이동, 회전, 크기변화에 영향을 받지 않는 불변 패턴 인식은 컴퓨터 비젼 및 패턴인식에서 오랫동안 다루어온 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 픽셀간의 거 리를 히스토그램으로 나타냄으로써 2차원 이진 패턴을 1차원 신호로 표현하는 방법을 제시한다. 제시되는 방법을 디스토그램(Distogram)이라 부르며 6개 로마문자의 이동, 회전, 크기 변화된 이미지를 테스트해봄으로써 디스토그램의 식별 능력을 테스트해본다.

  • 19세기에서 20세기 초 조선에서 일제강점기로의 전환기적 시기의 한반도 내 명승지의 인식에 대한 변화양상을 고찰한 결과, 조선후기에 유행한 "청구남승도(靑邱覽勝圖)"에 작성된 명승지 내용과 1915년에 발간된 "조선명승시선(朝鮮名勝詩選)"의 주요변화는 자연유형의 명산, 폭포, 대(臺) 등 전통경관은 계승되면서도 근대공원, 기차역, 해수욕장 등의 근대 관광지가 새로 출현하였다.

Analysis on High School Students' Recognitions and Expressions of Changes in Concentration as a Rate of Change (변화율 관점에서 농도 변화에 대한 인식과 표현의 변화 과정에 대한 분석)

  • The aim of the present study is twofold. One is to confirm a hypothesis that a student's rate concept influences her conceiving change of a function in the view of rate of change and the other is to build up foundations for understanding the transition process from her rate concept to the concept of rate of change when she investigates the change of concentration as an intensive quantity. We explored how three participating high school students recognized and expressed change of given functions by using their rate concept as a conceptual tool. The result indicates that a change in students' rate concept might have an effect on understanding how function values change in term of rate of change. We also expect that it could be a catalyst for further research for clarifying the relationship between students' rate concept and their development of a concept of rate of change as a foundation for learning calculus.

  • This study investigated organizational changes in technical services of university libraries and analysed librarians' perception on the changes of technical service department by the survey to 32 technical service librarians. It also identified several factors that have changed work environment of technical departments such as the shared cataloging and outsourcing, and electronic resources in various formats and creation of metadata for these resources. Most librarians agreed that university libraries have to foster technical librarians' professioanal development to cope with emerging changes of technical services. They also recognized that the integration of traditional cataloging and metadata management is an important issue of orgranizational changes. Contrary to librarians' perception, technical service librarians were not fully awared of the procedure of metadata related works in other departments. Furthermore metadata creation and management were also conducted in several departments of libraries without proper control.

Image Recognition Based on Nonlinear Equalization and Multidimensional Intensity Variation (비선형 평활화와 다차원의 명암변화에 기반을 둔 영상인식)

  • This paper presents a hybrid recognition method, which is based on the nonlinear histogram equalization and the multidimensional intensity variation of an images. The nonlinear histogram equalization based on a adaptively modified function is applied to improve the quality by adjusting the brightness of the image. The multidimensional intensity variation by considering the a extent of 4-step changes in brightness between the adjacent pixels is also applied to reflect accurately the attributes of image. The statistical correlation that is measured by the normalized cross-correlation(NCC) coefficient, is applied to comprehensively measure the similarity between the images. The NCC is considered by the intensity variation of each 2-direction(x-axis and y-axis) image. The proposed method has been applied to the problem for recognizing the 50-face images of 40*40 pixels. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a superior recognition performances to the method without performing the histogram equalization, or the linear histogram equalization, respectively.

A Study on the Changes in Citizens' Perceptions of Urban Landscape of Gimhae (김해시 도시경관에 대한 시민의 인식변화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes in citizens' perceiving urban landscape. To this end, the citizens' perceptions of urban landscape of Gimhae were surveyed two times in 2003 and 2011. To examine the statistical significance, the frequency analysis, the chi-square test were applied. There were small changes of opinion between two periods caused by the change of city form, an increase in interest in the living environment, environmental protection and so on. The interest of the citizens of the landscape were high. Citizens showed a negative feedback with respect to economic sacrifice. So, regulation causing citizens' economic loss should be avoided and It is effective to establish policies to support and induction. The results of this study are intended to be used as a reference to the planning urban landscape.

Instructional Influences of Conceptual Change Model Emphasizing Social Consensus (사회적 합의를 강조한 개념 변화 수업 모형의 효과)

  • In this study, the instructional influences of the conceptual change model based on the cognitive conflict and the conceptual change model emphasizing the social consensus were investigated. The subjects were 109 7th-graders in a boys' middle school in Seoul, and were taught about the changes of states, density, and dissolution for 8 class periods. The hypotheses provided in the instructions were constructed from the results of a pilot test. Prior to the instructions, three tests regarding the perceptions of discussion, the attitudes toward science instructions, and the perceptions of participation were administered. Two types of the conceptual change instructions and the traditional instruction were used in the treatment groups and the control group, respectively. After the instructions, the students' achievement, the conceptions, the perceptions of discussion, the attitudes toward science instructions, and the perceptions of participation were investigated. ANCOVA results revealed that the scores of the treatment groups were significantly higher than those of the control group in the achievement test. Although the score of the treatment group using the conceptual change model emphasizing social consensus were higher than those of other groups in the conceptions test, the differences were not statistically significant. The perceptions of discussion were significantly more positive in the treatment group using the conceptual change model emphasizing social consensus than in the control group. However, there were no significant differences in the scores of the attitudes toward science class and the perceptions of participation among the three groups. Educational implications are discussed.
