An Exploratory Study on the Users' Perception Influencing the Non-use of Public Libraries (공공도서관 비이용에 영향을 미치는 이용자 인식에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • 본 연구는 현재 공공도서관 비이용자이나 향후 이용할 가능성이 있는 잠재적 이용자의 공공도서관 비이용 원인이 무엇인지를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하며, 이를 위해 도서관 이용 중단자 및 비이용자 3명을 대상으로 한 심층면담의 내용을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 잠재적 이용자들의 이용/비이용에 영향을 미치는 요인들로서 '동기', '도서관 지식', '만족', '접근성', '대용채널'의 5가지를 파악할 수 있었으며, 공공도서관에 대한 요구사항이 개선되었을 경우 이용할 의향이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Customer Willingness to Use Smart Grid Services in Home (스마트 그리드 서비스에 대한 고객 수용도 분석)

  • Customers can monitor electricity use in real time in smart grid(ICT is grafted onto current grid), so various beneficial services can be provided to customer. We did a qualitative survey, HV(Home Visit) and FGD(Focus Group Discussion), in order to derive customer's cognition of using electricity in home and values that customers consider significantly and a quantitative survey in order to know willingness to use. Customers consider electricity indispensible for using home appliances, want to use safely far from electromagnetic waves, short circuit and electronic shock. Also, customers want to save energy conveniently with no stress. Customers want 'a function', 'information', 'motivation' for energy saving, and 'electromagnetic waves cutting', 'to prevent electronic shock', 'to prevent short circuit' for safe electricity use. In this study, we derived 4 services - energy monitoring, standby power cutting, remote control, energy consulting - based on customer values and unmet needs, which is connected to home network that customers can monitor total and each appliance's electricity usage in real time and control home appliances. The willingness to use of services is over 60% and especially energy monitoring and standby power cutting service have high willingness to use rate, about 80%.

Good Death Awareness, Attitudes toward Advance Directives and Preferences for Care Near the End of Life among Hospitalized Elders in Long-term Care Hospitals (요양병원 입원 노인의 좋은 죽음 인식, 사전의료의향서에 대한 태도 및 임종치료선호도)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine good death awareness, attitudes toward advance directives (ADs), and preference for care near the end-of-life (PCEOL) of hospitalized elders in long-term care hospitals. Relevant characteristics were investigated as well as correlation of the variables. Methods: This descriptive research study involved 161 hospitalized elderly patients in long-term care hospitals. A self-report questionnaire was used to measure Good Death Scale, ADs Survey, PCEOL Scale, and general characteristics. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation with SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: In terms of good death awareness, a significant difference was observed; in according to age (F=3.35, p=.037), payer of treatment costs (F=3.98, p=.021), mobility (F=3.97, p=.021), heard discussion about ADs (t=-3.89, p<.001), and willing to complete ADs (t=2.12, p=.036). As far as attitudes toward ADs, the participants presented significant difference depending on religion (t=2.38, p=.018), average monthly income (F=3.91, p=.022), duration of hospital admission (F=5.33, p=.006), person to discuss ADs (t=-2.76, p=.006). On PCEOL, there was a significant difference, depending on religion (t=-3.59, p<.001) and perceived health status (F=3.93, p=.022). Finally, as for how the variables were related to each other, good death awareness and attitudes toward ADs had a weak positive correlation with PCEOL. Conclusion: To help seniors staying in nursing homes face a good death and enjoy autonomy, there should be educational and support systems that reflect each individual's sociodemographic characteristics so that the seniors can choose what kind of care they want to receive near the end-of-life.

A study on the impact of service quality of stage performance on willingness to continuously watch based on virtual reality technology

  • In this paper, we attempt to explore consumers' willingness to continuously watch stage performances on virtual reality technology platforms and the mediating role of the psychological contract in it through the integration of service quality theory, thus constructing a continuous viewing model and conducting an empirical analysis through SPSS and AMOS. Through the analysis, we came to the following conclusions: 1. Interaction quality, physical environment quality, and outcome quality have a positive impact on psychological contract; 2. The psychological contract has a positive impact on the willingness to continuously watch; 3. Interaction quality, physical environment quality, and outcome quality positively influence the willingness to continuously watch through psychological contract. Therefore, this model can be used by companies to grasp consumers' perceptions of their own service quality and to formulate specific strategies, and it provides new directions and insights for stage performance companies.

  • 지속가능한 국가 발전을 위한 물관리 정책은 항상 국정 과제의 중심에 있다. 물관리는 수재해예방, 양질의 안정된 물이용, 충분한 식량생산, 수생태계와 물환경의 보호, 효과적 재정투자 등과 같이 다양한 분야에 계층적이면서도 상호연계성 있는 전문성을 요구한다. 동시에 물관리의 효과와 편익은 경제활동의 기반이 되고 환경보전의 원천이므로 정책의 수요는 정부뿐만 아니라 국민과 더불어 자연으로부터 기인한다. 특히 기후변화의 불확실성 또는 감염병 대발생과 국가적 위기에도 지속가능한 국가 발전을 이행하기 위해서는 시의성 있고 유효한 물관리 정책은 필수이다. 그동안 우리나라 물관리 정책의 세분화 또는 파편화는 물관리 전문성 강화의 효과보다는 비효율성의 결과를 더 크게 생산해 왔었다. 특히 부족한 협력과 조정은 과잉·중복 투자, 비일관적 정책, 비효율적 성과라는 왜곡된 통합물관리 정책 순환이 반복되게 하였다. 최근 정부는 국토교통부의 하천수량(홍수 포함) 및 광역상수도 관리 기능을 환경부로 이관하는 물관리일원화를 추진하여 통합물관리의 발판을 마련하는 계기를 달성하였다. 하지만 비록 정부조직법 개정과 물관리기본법 제정으로 통합물관리 정책의 틀은 마련되었으나, 국토교통부가 하천법 상의 일부 사무를 담당하므로서 하천관리 정책의 복잡성과 다원화는 높아졌다. 따라서 하천의 이용 및 관리에 관한 만족도, 관리주체, 미래상, 물관리일원화 후 정책수요, 기후변화에 관한 인식, 하천관리 참여 의향 등을 조사하는 연구는 시급한 실정이며 향후 하천기본계획, 생태하천복원사업, 소하천정비사업 등과 같은 재정사업의 추진 방향에도 매우 중요한 주제라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재와 미래 하천의 이용 및 관리, 그리고 정책방향에 대하여 일반 시민(4,500명)과 전문가(168명) 대상의 설문조사를 실시하였으며 인식의 공통점과 차이를 비교분석하였다. 설문조사의 내용은 3가지 부문(하천이용, 하천관리, 하천정책)으로 구분하여 각 부문별로 세부문항으로 구성하였다. 일반 시민과 전문가 간의 인식조사 비교 결과, 공통적으로 시민과 전문가는 하천의 바람직한 미래상으로 '깨끗한 수질의 하천'을 가장 높게 선호하였다. 하천관리 우선순위를 묻는 질문에 대한 시민과 전문가의 응답도 대하천, 도랑이나 개울, 중하천, 소하천 순으로 동일하였지만, 1순위와 2순위의 격차는 시민(26.1%)보다 전문가(1.2%)가 낮았다. 또한 시민과 전문가는 하천관리의 주체로 '물전문기관'을 가장 높게 선호하였지만, 전문가는 '물전문기관' 다음으로 중앙부처(20.2%)를 선호하였지만, 시민은 중앙부처(6.8%)를 가장 선호하지 않는 하천관리 주체로 응답하여 두 집단 간의 큰 인식의 차이를 알 수 있었다. 물관리일원화 후 보다 큰 관심을 가져야할 정책으로는 '건강하고 깨끗한 수질'을 시민(38.9%)과 전문가(47.0%)는 1순위로 선택하였으나, 2순위는 시민은 '생태서식공간'(11.6%)을 전문가는 '안정적 수량확보'(20.2%)를 선택하여 두 집단의 인식 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

A Study on Preference Attribute of Smart Learning for SMEs Work-Place Learning Innovation (중소기업의 직무교육 혁신을 위한 스마트러닝 선호 속성에 관한 연구)

  • Company's interest in the work place training and investment has been growing continuously because the talent of human resource is the competitiveness itself in the knowledge based society. However, corporate training programs mainly have focused on large companies and SMEs despite the economic business volume have been treated too lightly so far. This paper regards corporate training programs with one of the methods for SMEs innovation and proposes the smart learning in the smart device diffusion. Concretely, this paper analyzes the utilization intention, each attribute and level in smart learning characteristics using conjoint analysis. The result shows that SMEs have positive response for smart learning acceptance and SMEs consider significantly the usage fee type and location with the difference between regular employee and administrator. Specially, interactive communication and customized contents are preferred in the training type. Smart learning can be used as strategic means in supporting the value innovation and enhancing the absorptive capacity in SMEs innovation process.

  • Recently, there is a growing interest in learning to use games as a teaching method for digital native learners. In this study, we conducted a path analysis between bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, linguistic intelligence, flow, learning outcomes(academic achievement, persistence intention) in motion-capture game-based learning(the used game developed for elementary school history class). As a result, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence directly influenced flow and indirectly influenced learning outcomes. Linguistic intelligence did not have direct influence on flow and indirect effects on learning outcomes. Through this result, we expected that the motion-capture game-based learning facilitate learning motivation and performance of learners for higher bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.

A study on perceptions of university students about the COVID-19 vaccine (코로나19 백신에 대한 대학생의 인식 조사)

  • This study conducted a survey using Google Survey targeting 415 college students over the age of 20 to investigate college students' perceptions of the COVID-19 vaccine. As a result, the average result of 'I think the COVID-19 vaccination is necessary' for herd immunity was 3.90, and 65.8% of the 'necessity of vaccination' recognized the 'necessity of vaccination', but 35.4% negatively evaluated 'the safety of the vaccine'. showed. As for the intention to vaccinate against COVID-19, 34.7% said 'I will vaccinate as soon as the order arrives'. This showed that the current COVID-19 vaccination is not positive. As the reasons for not wanting to be vaccinated, 65.3% answered 'adverse reaction to the vaccine' and 25.8% 'distrust of the vaccine itself'. In addition, they perceived the vaccine supply between developed and underdeveloped countries as unequal, and the average was 3.94, indicating that they were afraid of adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine. Therefore, in order to more effectively acquire information about the COVID-19 vaccine, research, platform development, and education on publicity methods through the media frequently used by college students are required.

A Study on Science and Technology Scholarly Societies' Understanding on Open Peer Review (과학기술 학회의 개방형동료심사에 관한 인식 연구 : 한국과학기술총연합회 산하 학회를 중심으로)

  • Open peer review intends to help review a manuscript in a transparent and accountable manner, opening up the identity of a reviewer and authors in a scholarly journal. Although some research about open peer review, for example, authors' understanding of open peer review, exists, research about editors' perspectives of a scholarly journal in Korean domestic science and technology fields has not been found. Editors' views may include whether an academic journal plans to adopt open peer review, when they might adopt it, or what the possible benefits, challenges, and issues in adopting open peer review would be. This paper presents a survey scheme, data, and analysis of Korean editors' perspectives on open peer review. Specifically, we designed the online survey questionnaire, collected the survey data from journal editors, and analyzed the survey results to explore editors' understanding of open peer review. We then compared our research with previous work, such as our Focused Group Interview and other similar domestic and foreign analysis. This study result is expected to help make an open peer review policy for public institutes to provide essential services for scholarly journals, including a scholarly peer review system. Academic society may also get some insights in adopting the open peer review method in the peer-review process.

The Perception of Corporate Management Experts on Corporate Counseling A Study on Marketing Mix for Revitalization (기업상담에 대한 기업경영 전문가의 인식과 활성화를 위한 마케팅믹스 연구)

  • Many companies are operating and introducing the research results that corporate counseling contributes to corporate profits and improves the effective welfare of workers. This study was conducted targeting business management experts. As a research question, first, is there a difference in perception among business management experts about business counseling? Second, what is an important marketing 7P mix for revitalizing corporate counseling? Third, there will be differences in the importance of the 7P mix for marketing among business management experts. The results of the quantitative study are as follows. First, business management experts had a positive perception about the intention and necessity of corporate counseling, and marketing was higher than production management by field. The consultation model prefers an external model, and medium-sized enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises are selected as target companies, and service and manufacturing industries are selected as target industries. The topics are recognized as interpersonal relationships and job stress. Second, price mix, product mix, people mix, and process mix are recognized as important marketing mixes, but companies consider the price mix the most important. Third, there was a difference between corporate management experts in the promotion mix and process, and marketing recognized the promotion mix as important and the process mix was important for financial management. However, there is no difference in the mixes by field except for this, so it can be said that the perception of the marketing mix is similar. Through this study, it is meaningful to present the implications of the marketing mix for awareness and activation of corporate counseling from the corporate point of view.
