The study examined citizens' information needs, perception and expectations of their public library services in Daejeon. The study analyzed citizens' demands and satisfaction(or dissatisfaction) of library services and facilities to develop comprehensive library plans and detailed strategies to satisfy the diverse users' needs (including non-users' needs) in the middle of rapidly changing socio-technological environments. To achieve the goal, the study collected the data by using both quota sampling and online and offline survey methods, and analyzed the 1,383 data through the statistical processes. The study found out the significant results and features, and suggested the implication and main points to apply the results to developing comprehensive library plans and strategies.

This study conducted an overall recognition analysis and demand survey of parent education programs in order to explore ways to promote parent education. Based on previous research, the questionnaire was developed including five factors and 23 items : (1) operating a center to support parent education, (2) perception on parent education programs, (3) developing a parent education program, (4) utilizing space, and (5) program operation and evaluation. A survey was administered on the parents of second and fourth graders at A elementary school in Chungju. The result showed that parents are positive about the operation of the center, which can provide professional support for parent education programs. There was also a great demand to strengthen the educational content of parents' roles. This study is meaningful in providing basic data for developing parent education programs based on the perception and demand analysis of existing parent education. Furthermore, the need for performance analysis and feedback was presented in future research directions after the actual development and operation of parent education programs that reflected the demand of parents.

본 연구에서는 대덕연구개발특구 내 벤처기업들의 신뢰성 인식 및 활용도를 제고하기 위한 방안을 찾기 위하여 벤처기업들이 신뢰성에 대해 얼마나 중요하게 인식하고 있으며 신뢰성향을 위한 장애요인 및 필요한 신뢰성 기술에 대해 조사하였다. 또한 신뢰성 분야의 교육에 대한 수요와 요구 분야에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 이 조사를 위하여 대덕연구개발특구내에 입주해 있는 기업들 중 150개 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 이 조사결과를 바탕으로 신뢰성 인식 및 기술 활용도 제고를 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to general needs and identify the educational needs for teaching competency of home economics teachers. based on their perception on teaching competency revealed in Previous studies. Data were collected from 1,104 schools selected by stratified sampling. based on school district, ranking and size. The 616 items of survey materials were collected from 417 schools and the levels of importance and performance were measured on Likert scale with 7- and 5- points, respectively. The analysis reveled that the educational needs for improving teaching competency were high in the following three areas out of seven areas. 1) interfacing ability with the local community and diverse human resources. 2) ability managing space and materials for learning 3) ability diversifying lesson development and evaluation ability. In addition. diversifying and professionalizing present development program for home economics teachers made higher score than improving education program for home economics teachers. These two needs of teachers showed significant differences according to their educational experiences and foundation types of their schools.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the needs and recognitions of education to prevent children sexual abuse and to suggest the basic data for school prevent education program. For this purpose 1210 primary school teachers were suggested in Korea and finally 973 questionnaires were analysed. The results are as follows; First, fur the needs of education contents for children,'the reaction skills to crisis situation of sexual abuse' was most needed, and 'the types and cases of sexual abuse' and 'the legal regulations' were lowest. Second, for the recognitions of education forms for children, teachers thought the proper form that professional instructors outside school related sexual abuse in special education type, $1\sim2$ times per semester, to all years of children and parents. Third, the education contents and forms to prevent sexual abuse to children were significantly different by age, gender, carrier years, area for work, related training experience. Fourth, the retraining program chances for teachers and prevent education program for children using the National Common Basic Curriculum needs to be broad.

본 연구는 학교급식이 교육의 일환으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 가정의 식생활 관리자로서 자녀들의 식습관에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 어머니를 대상으로 하여 가정에서의 식생활 관리와 학교급식과 영양교육에 대한 인식 및 요구도를 알아보아, 자녀와 어머니에게 필요한 교육과 학교에서 제공할 수 있는 교육방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 대상자는 서울시 강서교육청 소속 57개 초등학교 중 지역차이를 고려하여 4개 학교 3,4 학년 학부모 400명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 조사하였으며, 이 중 362부를 분석에 이용하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception and needs on development of lecture to promote creative personality of pre-service teachers. The subjects were 161 students in 4th grade in early childhood education department. The questionnaire was composed of 3 items of 'recognition of creativity personality lecture' and 7 items of 'demand of development for creativity personality lecture'. The data was analyzed frequency and percentage by descriptive statistics. In the results, first, most of pre-service teachers recognized the importance on development of creativity personality lecture, and support of 'development and application of creativity personality lecture'. They recognized that creativity personality lecture was effective. Second, more than half of them responded that they would take creativity personality lecture, and this lecture was most appropriate 2 courses and 3 hours 10 weeks per semester. They demanded a lot of propensity element among creativity education elements, convergence classes in various fields, teaching medium for 'movie and music', and 'portfolio evaluation'.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness, interest, and needs of the occupational therapy students for the dementia care center. Methods : We conducted an online questionnaire survey of 492 occupational therapy students nationwide from July 1 to 31, 2018. General characteristics and perceptions, interests and needs were analyzed by descriptive statistics. One way ANOVA and chi-square test were conducted to compare the differences between the items according to grade and age. Results : Lower awareness was found in National Responsibility for Dementia($2.61{\pm}1.0$), Dementia Care Center($2.84{\pm}0.9$) and role of an occupational therapist in the Dementia Care Center($2.94{\pm}0.9$) of the occupational therapy students. Interest to the employment was investigated between middle and high($3.42{\pm}0.9$). Education was not sufficient($2.98{\pm}0.8$), and the adequacy of fieldwork was moderate($3.07{\pm}0.8$). Conclusion : The results of this study can be served as basic data for enhancing competence as a specialist in the dementia care center. Also, it is expected to be a help to raise awareness of the occupational therapy students.

The research aims to investigate immigrants', librarians' and multicultural experts' information needs and perception on current multicultural services in Korean libraries, and to suggest the directions for providing multicultural library services. The research collected the data through conducting both in-depth interviews and focus group interviews with immigrants, librarians and multicultural experts. The research found the significant and emergent features on immigrants' and librarians' requests and perception about current library multicultural services. On the analysis of the findings, the research discussed the implications of the policies for library multicultural services and the alternatives to improve library multicultural services and librarians' multicultural competencies.

In order to find out a method to improve awareness of biomedical laboratory science about forensic medicine education and suggest a plan for invigoration, we carried out a survey targeting 100 students of biomedical laboratory science of Daegu Health College in Daegu region and implemented their awareness and requirement forensic medicine subject, which suggested very high awareness of most of the students about forensic medicine as a result. Out of 100 respondents, in the result of survey for students' awareness of forensic medicine, 94 (94%) answered that they were aware of it, We could find that they have high expectation from forensic medicine, and current biomedical laboratory science showed very high awareness and requirement for forensic medicine education. Therefore, rather than focusing only on core courses required for medical technologist, it is necessary to set up a program to introduce forensic subjects for expansion of professional areas and activation which can promote employment of medical technologists.
