A Study on Public-Private Cooperation in Developed Countries for Counter-Terrorism (대테러를 위한 선진국의 민·관 협력에 관한 고찰)

  • 본 논문에서는 미국·영국의 사례를 통한 정책적 함의를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 미국의 경우 초기 대응자로서 민간 부문의 중심적인 역할, 공공과 비영리 그리고 민간 부문 조직들의 협력적 대응, 자원봉사자들의 적극적인 참여, 평소 민간 부문에 대한 훈련, 민간 기업의 기민성과 영국의 경우 위기관리를 위한 언론의 협조자 역할, 정부의 언론을 통한 위기관리의 중요성 인식 등은 우리에게 시사하는 바가 크다. 요컨대, 미국·영국의 경우 전 국가적 차원에서의 대테러활동을 위한 민·관 간의 협력적 운영이라는 사실과 더불어 우리나라 대테러 관계기관 실무자들의 민·관 협력 기능의 필요성에 대해 시민의식의 향상, 시민단체와 민간 기업의 사회적 공익 분야 강조, 언론의 역할 정립에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 대테러시스템 운영을 위해 이들의 역할과 기능이 더욱 확충되는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

  • RFID 인식 기술을 이용한 출입 통제 시스템은 RFID 태그가 개인의 신분을 나타내고 개별 인식을 통해 출입을 통제 관리한다. 시스템은 관리자의 휴대용 기기(PDA)나 PC 등과 같은 다양한 사무기기를 통한 모니터링 기능의 지원이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 를 이용한 출입 통제 시스템을 구축하고 이상 징후 시 자동 알림 기능 지원 및 오피스 네트워크 애플리케이션들과 상호 운용이 용이한 UPnP 미들웨어를 적용한 UPnP 기반의 RFID 시스템을 설계 구현한다. 설계 구현된 시스템은 UPnP 기반의 RFID 서비스 발견 기술을 지원한다.

  • 최근 화재, 수해, 테러 등의 안전사고가 증가하면서 건물 안전 시스템 구축을 위한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 시스템을 개발하는데 있어 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 핵심 기술로 떠오르고 있다. 특히 화재시 건물 내 생존자를 안전한 경로로 대피하기 위한 시스템은 이미 여러 프로젝트에서 시범으로 보이고 있다. 이에 필요한 기능은 사용자 위치 인식, 화재 감지, 안전 경로 안내로 구성된다. 각 기능을 구현하기 위해 사용되는 장비는 생존자의 개별 인식에 이용하는 RFID 태그, 건물 내 각 방의 화재 상황을 감지하기 위한 센서네트워크 그리고 사용자 이동을 확인 할 수 있는 카메라로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문은 화재 상황에서 생존자를 대피하기 위한 안전 경로 시스템을 설계하고, 센서 네트워크와 RFID를 활용하여 프로토타입을 구축하며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 시스템의 유효성을 검증한다.

Design and Implementation of Immersive Media System Based on Dynamic Projection Mapping and Gesture Recognition (동적 프로젝션 맵핑과 제스처 인식 기반의 실감 미디어 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • In recent, projection mapping, which has attracted high attention in the field of realistic media, is regarded as a technology to increase the users' immersion. However, most existing methods perform projection mapping on static objects. In this paper, we developed a technology to track the movements of users and dynamically map the media contents to the users' bodies. The projected media content is built by predefined gestures just using the user's bare hands without the special devices. An interactive immersive media system has been implemented by integrating these dynamic projection mapping technologies and gesture-based drawing technologies. The proposed realistic media system recognizes the movements and open / closed states of the user 's hands, selects the functions necessary to draw a picture. The users can freely draw the picture by changing the color of the brush using the colors of any real objects. In addition, the user's drawing is dynamically projected on the user's body, allowing the user to design and wear his t-shirt in real-time.

A Study on the Librarian's Perception about the Utilization of Libraries as Evacuation Facilities (도서관을 대피시설로 활용하는 방안에 대한 사서 인식 조사 연구)

  • In the third comprehensive library development plan, the formal and informal social safety space function of the library is used as a project. Therefore, this study investigated whether libraries were designated as evacuation facilities and related service status, and librarians' awareness, perception and attitude toward disaster and disaster response services. Based on this, it was intended to propose a direction to activate disaster and disaster response services. The research results are as follows. First, it is necessary to improve the perception of librarians who are the service providers. Second, discussions on spatial aspects, such as temporary or permanent, are needed. Third, development of disaster and disaster-related service models is required. Fourth, the administration's support and management are essential for the effectiveness of the library's function as a social safety space. Fifth, when developing guidelines for the role of libraries as social shelters and related services, specific details to address the concerns of individual libraries and librarians need to be specified.

  • Digital signage in airport is used to provide the flight and airport information to the airport passenger. However, the current digital signage displays one type of contents to all of the airport customers without considering the type of the customer. Thus, the digital signage suffer from the inefficiency problem resulting in lower customer satisfaction. This problem can be solved if we adopt a smart digital signage which can recognize the type of the customer and provide the tailored contents. In this study, we report a smart digital signage using age recognition. Our smart digital signage can recognize the age of the customer in real-time, and provide the tailored contents to the customer. The smart digital signage can improve the airport customer satisfaction and the airport work efficiency by providing the information that is needed by the airport customers.

A Study on the Relationship between Reading Library-Related Picture Books to Elementary School Students and Their Library Use (독서와 도서관 관련 그림책 읽어주기 활동이 초등학생의 도서관 이용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate if there is a relationship between reading to schoolchildren picture books on a library and its effects on their library use. 14 library-related picture books and 64 students in third grade of an elementary school in Suwon were selected for reading activities for 7 weeks to students with once a week program. The survey was conducted to those students to observe the changes in students' recognition on a library and a librarian before and after reading activities. As a result, it appears to be some improvements on reading attitude, understanding and awareness of function and using ways of school libraries, and the role of a school librarian. However, no changes have been made on the recognition of reading activities and a librarian. Based on these results, the study suggest that reading picture books to children could be continuous and highly effective methods to library education system.

  • Although products with the fingerprint recognition system currently show a rapid growth in quantity, it is also true that efforts to consider the product quality have been lacking until now. Accordingly, this paper analyzed technological elements with domestic and foreign market situations for products with the fingerprint recognition system to develop an evaluation model to support the quality increase by evaluating aspects of product quality for the knowledge information security, identifying the level of quality and deriving directions for improvements. A model for the reliability quality evaluation was constructed that can be applied comprehensively to non-functional elements that have not been done in the existing evaluations central to the security functions by analyzing requirements for the security, performance and reliability in consideration of features on products. It is considered that this paper can make contributions to the overall quality increase for products with the knowledge information security by reflecting features and trends for the fingerprint recognition products and building a model for the reliability and evaluation to perform evaluations by product.

  • There are scattered various kinds of software and digital contents around modern peoples. Most of peoples do not realize the importance of the problem related with rights protections of software and digital contents that most of peoples are acting illegal use or illegal copy of software or digital contents without any sense of guilt. In this paper, we carry out a survey targeting IT department majors and non-IT department majors about their aware of rights of software and digital contents and then we suggest a problem from the results of a survey and study a solution for advancing problem of aware of rights. The most effective solution of aware improvement of rights is continuous and repetitive education concerning rights. Also, Reasonable prices that should makes for paying cost of copyrights by users.

Study on Chinese Consumers' Perceptions of Samsung Smartphones through Social Media Data Analysis (소셜 미디어 데이터 분석을 통한 중국 소비자의 삼성 스마트폰에 대한 인식 연구)

  • This study comprehensively analyzed the perceptions of Chinese consumers who have and have not purchased Samsung smartphones, based on data from the social media platform Weibo. Various big data analysis techniques were used, including text mining, frequency analysis, centrality analysis, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis. The results indicate that positive perceptions of Samsung smartphones include aspects such as design aesthetics, camera functionality, AI features, screen quality, specifications, and performance, and their status as a premium brand. On the other hand, negative perceptions include issues with pricing, a yellow tint in photos, slow charging speeds, and safety concerns. These findings will provide a crucial basis for making significant improvements in Samsung's market strategy in China.
