University Students' Recognition of Eco-friendly Recycled PET Textiles (대학생들의 친환경 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도)

  • 본 연구에서는 친환경 리싸이클 섬유산업의 활성화를 위해 대학생들의 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도를 분석해 보고자 하였다. 측정 문항은 섬유전문가 3인의 검토를 거쳐 타당성을 확보하였으며, 조사는 질문지법으로 2011년 9월 1일부터 9월 10일까지 대전 거주 대학생을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 회수된 설문지 196부를 자료 분석에 이용하였고, SPSS 19 통계 패키지를 이용하여 자료를 통계분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 친환경적 의생활 실태 조사를 실시한 결과, 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 들어본 적이 있는 사람은 조사대상자의 27.6%로 나타났고, 그 정보원으로는 인터넷을 가장 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 섬유소재별 친환경성에 대한 인식도를 조사한 결과, 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유가 천연섬유보다 덜 친환경적이나, 인조섬유보다는 더 친환경적이라고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대한 인식도를 요인분석한 결과, <친환경성 요인>, <촉감 요인>, <내구성 요인>, <기능성 요인>, <공정 요인>, <글로벌 경쟁력 요인>및 <부가가치성 요인> 등 7개의 요인이 도출되었는데 이는 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 친환경성, 촉감, 내구성, 기능성, 공정, 글로벌경쟁력, 부가가치성순으로 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 해석된다.

Smart Factory Platform based on Multi-Touch and Image Recognition Technologies (멀티터치 기술과 영상인식 기술 기반의 스마트 팩토리 플랫폼)

  • In this work, we developed a platform that can monitor status and manage events of factory workplaces by providing events and data collected from various types of multi-touch technology based sensors installed in the workplace. By using the image recognition technology, faces of the people in the factory workplace are recognized and the customized contents for each worker are provided, and security of contents is enhanced by the authenticating an individual worker through face recognition. Contents control function through gesture recognition is constructed, so that workers can easily search documents. Also, it is possible to provide contents for workers by implementing face recognition function in mobile devices. The result of this work can be used to improve workplace safety, convenience of workers, contents security and can be utilized as a base technology for future smart factory construction.

Bio-mimetic Recognition of Action Sequence using Unsupervised Learning (비지도 학습을 이용한 생체 모방 동작 인지 기반의 동작 순서 인식)

  • Making good predictions about the outcome of one's actions would seem to be essential in the context of social interaction and decision-making. This paper proposes a computational model for learning articulated motion patterns for action recognition, which mimics biological-inspired visual perception processing of human brain. Developed model of cortical architecture for the unsupervised learning of motion sequence, builds upon neurophysiological knowledge about the cortical sites such as IT, MT, STS and specific neuronal representation which contribute to articulated motion perception. Experiments show how the model automatically selects significant motion patterns as well as meaningful static snapshot categories from continuous video input. Such key poses correspond to articulated postures which are utilized in probing the trained network to impose implied motion perception from static views. We also present how sequence selective representations are learned in STS by fusing snapshot and motion input and how learned feedback connections enable making predictions about future input sequence. Network simulations demonstrate the computational capacity of the proposed model for motion recognition.

  • In order to strengthen the information security of the organization, it is important to invest in the information security facility, but the information security awareness of the organization members is also very important. Effective education is needed to raise awareness of this information security. However, the method of collective education utilized by most organizations is not very effective. Educational methods using serious games can be a good alternative. Educational methods using serious games have already proved effective through various cases and researches and are used in many fields. In this paper, we design and implement a game program to improve the awareness of individual information security policy importance. The training was conducted for the members of the organization and the change of awareness about the importance of individual information security policy was examined through analysis of evaluation data before and after the training.

English Conversation System Using Artificial Intelligent of based on Virtual Reality (가상현실 기반의 인공지능 영어회화 시스템)

  • In order to realize foreign language education, various existing educational media have been provided, but there are disadvantages in that the cost of the parish and the media program is high and the real-time responsiveness is poor. In this paper, we propose an artificial intelligence English conversation system based on VR and speech recognition. We used Google CardBoard VR and Google Speech API to build the system and developed artificial intelligence algorithms for providing virtual reality environment and talking. In the proposed speech recognition server system, the sentences spoken by the user can be divided into word units and compared with the data words stored in the database to provide the highest probability. Users can communicate with and respond to people in virtual reality. The function provided by the conversation is independent of the contextual conversations and themes, and the conversations with the AI assistant are implemented in real time so that the user system can be checked in real time. It is expected to contribute to the expansion of virtual education contents service related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution through the system combining the virtual reality and the voice recognition function proposed in this paper.

  • This study aims to investigate the awareness and status of smart attendance systems in the professors and college students who directly use an electronic smart system, a learning management system utilizing IT and to propose a plan for improvement to increase the efficiency of the smart attendance system. As for the research method, this study conducted an online survey with 264 students at S. University to investigate the status of their use and awareness of the smart attendance system. As a result, first, the professors mostly were satisfied with the smart attendance system, and it would be necessary to improve learning ability and the function of self-management in connection with the learning management system. Second, the college students were dissatisfied with the user interface and speed of the smart attendance system, and it would be necessary to improve the delay time, login, update, and false attendance.

  • In this paper, a voice, object, and optical character recognition platform including voice recognition-based smart wearable devices, smart devices, and web AI servers was proposed as an appropriate technology to help the visually impaired to live independently by learning the life cycle of the visually impaired in advance. The wearable device for the visually impaired was designed and manufactured with a reverse neckband structure to increase the convenience of wearing and the efficiency of object recognition. And the high-sensitivity small microphone and speaker attached to the wearable device was configured to support the voice recognition interface function consisting of the app of the smart device linked to the wearable device. From experimental results, the voice, object, and optical character recognition service used open source and Google APIs in the web AI server, and it was confirmed that the accuracy of voice, object and optical character recognition of the service platform achieved an average of 90% or more.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the consumer perception of packaging using big data analysis. This study use text mining to extract meaningful words from text and semantic network analysis to analyze connectivity and propagation trends. Data were collected by dividing the 'packaging(Korean)' and 'packaging(English)'. This study visualized the word network structure of the two key words and classified them into four groups with similar meaning through CONCOR analysis. The group name was specified based on the words constituting the classified group. These groups are a major category of consumers' perception of packaging. Especially cosmetics and design have high frequency of words and high centrality. Therefore it can be expected that the packaging design is perceived as important in the cosmetics industry. This study predicts consumers' perception of packaging so it can be a basis for future research and industry development.

Implications for Teacher Education through Pre-Service Science Teachers' Perception and Practice Cases on Online Formative Assessment (온라인 형성평가에 대한 예비 과학교사의 인식과 실행 사례를 통해 살펴본 교사 교육의 시사점)

  • This study aims to reveal what is necessary for pre-service science teachers to make good use of online formative assessment in the context of online classes. For 22 pre-service physics teachers, first, the preliminary perception of online classes, online formative assessment, and formative assessment was investigated; second, the practice process of online formative assessment was examined. Then the differences between perception and practice were compared and analyzed. Data were collected in preliminary surveys, lesson plans, online formative assessment items, and interview data. As a result of the study, an interaction was mentioned as the difficulty of online classes in the preliminary perception, and pre-service teachers mentioned the use of technology, feedback, and adjustment as advantages of online formative assessment. In most cases of practice, the automated feedback was used using the platform's technology, but it did not lead to adjustment and interaction. In addition, the use of items in online formative assessment was not suitable for formative functions. The reason why the interaction using formative feedback did not occur seems to be because the understanding of formative assessment was insufficient. Pre-service teachers need to be prepared for the 'formative' function through the feedback of online formative assessment so that can lead to interaction in online classes. The shift to online classes is creating difficulties, especially in interaction. It is necessary to prepare and educate pre-service teachers on fundamental aspects that can overcome these difficulties.

The Changes of the Pain Care Awareness and Health Related Quality of Life of the People with the Chronic Low Back Pain through the Participation in the Kinesio-Taping Self Application Education Program (키네시오 테이핑 자가 적용 교육 프로그램의 참여를 통한 만성요통환자들의 통증관리 인식과 건강관련 삶의 질의 변화)

  • This study purposes to analyze the changes of the pain care awareness and health related quality of life of the people with the chronic low back pain through the participation in the kinesio-taping self application education program. A total of 30 people with chronic LBP participated and they divided into experimental(n=15) and control group(n=15). An experimental group participated in the Kinesio-taping education program for 4 weeks and a control group was treated by a therapist. Through these, the pain care awareness and health related quality of life were analyzed. In the care of the health care awareness, the canadian Occupational Performance Measure was used to assess the subjects' performance and satisfaction. The short form-8 health survey was used to the health related quality of life. The results of the health care awareness and health related quality of life were increased in the experimental group and the statistically significant difference showed between group. This education program is a meaningful method to improve the health related quality of life from the pain care in the daily life by itself. Thus, the kinesio-taping self application education program should be considered for the people with the chronic low back pain.
