The purpose of this study is to examine the significance of various figures in The Canonical Scripture and their contents. The Canonical Scripture (jeon-gyeong 典經) is a record of the beliefs and deeds of Kang Jeungsan, composed through the memories of the followers of Kang Jeungsan who followed the words of The Canonical Scripture. In other words, The Canonical Scripture is understood as the scripture of Daesoon Jinrihoe that contains the religious deeds and teachings of Kang Jeungsan. It is divided into seven parts and 17 chapters. Those seven parts, some of which contain more than one chapter, are as follows: Acts, Reordering Works, Progress of the Order, Dharma, Authority and Foreknowledge, Saving Lives, and Prophetic Elucidations. In particular, The Canonical Scripture records the deeds of historical figures from both China and Korea, and this prominently includes the life history of Kang Jeungsan, and this is an especially pronounced feature of the sections Acts, Progress of the Order, and Prophetic Elucidations. In addition, each chapter describes the teachings and faith-inspiring acts of Kang Jeungsan and presents the gist of the Daesoon Thought while referring to the lives and actions of various historical figures. In this paper, introductions to the figures that appear in each section are provided to help readers better understand the contents of The Canonical Scripture. Therefore, this study focuses on the major figures introduced in The Canonical Scripture in connection with the religious values of Daesoon Thought. Through this, a contribution is made to the academic development of Daesoon Thought by specifically exploring and examining the contents of the figures who appear in The Canonical Scripture. This is a surprisingly underdeveloped area of study in Daesoon Thought.

온톨로지란 프로그램과 인간이 지식을 공유하는데 도움을 주기 위해 사용된 개념적 명세서로써 지식을 정형화하는 방법을 제시하여 추론의 기반을 제공하여 준다. 온톨로지 구축에 관한 기존 연구들은 스키마의 모델링에 초점을 두었다. 그러나 자료가 대용량화 됨에 따라 인스턴스를 자동으로 추출하는 기술은 온톨로지 구축에 꼭 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 문서에서 인물의 직위 정보를 자동으로 추출하였으며, 문서 내에서 인물 상호 참조 처리를 통해 인물의 축약 명칭을 복원하였다. 또한 구 단위에서의 실패한 변동된 직위 정보는 중심 술어를 대상으로 격틀 정보를 완성해 나감으로써 확장한 결과 정확률 97.6%를 얻었다.

This study look into a role change and geographical inertia of the central place. The place is selected and progressed as the center which is the joining of physical condition and social situation of the region. The central place is the role change according to social change but it has geographical inertia as the central place. The result is as follows. Firstly, the role of regional center is changed. This sample region is the center of a national defense and administration and traffic in Three-Country period. But the role of the national defense is disappeared with the unity of the three countries. A traffic center facility was lost because of traffic axis changed from the east-west line to the north-south line when Ko-Ryo period. A facility loss as a traffic center leads to diminish the administration function and the movement of the regional center within that area. Secondary. the new regional center function was maintained by the joining of an outside and inside peoples. It maintained the geographical inertia by Confucianism culture instead of administration function. Thirdly, it had geographical location movement within the area.

The study is aimed at exploring the contents and composition of archive of works and subjects digital figures for works by Shin Saimdang, Heo Nanseolheon and Song Deokbong among female writers during the mid-Joseon Dynasty. To this end, first, to investigate and analyze the theoretical background and the preceding study by studying literature. Second, based on the reason for the character selection, the life of Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong, and Heo Nanseolhun are analyzed. Third, the works and themes are analyzed through the writings left by Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong, and Heo Nanseolheon, as well as by various researchers on them. Fourth, it presents the contents and composition of the archive of digital figures in works and subjects with the focus of Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong and Henan Seolheon.

This study examines how disability pride of people having acquired visual impairment can be constructed. The theme is explored with the Japanese TV drama "Challenged". The paradigms regarding construction of disability pride and acceptance of disability are fundamentally different. In this context it can be said that a criticism of disability acceptance theory has something with a criticism of medical model of disability. It is main character Hanawa and chairman of teachers, and principal who were noticeable specifically at the point of forming disability pride, and these characters show a common feature that social idealism is embodied in their awareness. Other characters of the drama show a change of their consciousness to social idealism. As a conclusion this study suggests importances of humanistic and social scientific analysis as well as of educational effects achieved by means of drama.

The purpose of this study is to review the current status of disseminating knowledge on Korean people by analyzing biographies for juvenile and general audiences with the subject term 'Korea' in WorldCat. Languages and topics of 15,007 bibliographic records and topic facets, biographees, and holding libraries in the U.S. of 487 biographies for juvenile audiences were analyzed. Major findings are as follows: 1) 30 English biographies are held by may libraries in the U.S. and the most popular subjects are Kim Il-song and Kim Jong-il, 2) 457 Korean biographies are not held by many libraries, and King Sejong and the General Yi Sun-sin are the most popular subjects, 3) many Korean biographies are picture books for the very young readers with the focus on Korean folklores and anecdotal biographies, and 4) there are some errors in topic facets, dispersion of biographees, and inaccurate holding lists of bibliographic records. Therefore, there seems to be little to read with an interest and promote the diffusion of knowledge on Korean people through libraries.

The present thesis is a study about a character actor's characterization from the concept of 'star persona'. Conducted in 2020, this is a follow-up study about a personality actor's characterization. Lee Sung-min was selected due to his wide acting spectrum among domestic actors and his brilliant expression of differing characters as a character actor. The study discusses characterization methods for character actors on the basis of his role of high-ranking North Korean bureaucrat 'Ri Myung-un' in the film 'The Spy Gone North'. Stanislavski claimed that character building or characterization was the pinnacle of the acting art. However, such an expression of personality requires hard work and devotion from an actor. The actor Lee Sung-min practiced the North Korean dialect in order to act the role, and added the way the elite speak in North Korea to this dialect. He achieves a style of acting that raises tensions within the drama by spitting out lines in one breath and by making the audience fixate their gaze within character solo shots for which the character's emotions and lines serve as the core, with the purpose of maximizing dramatic tension and situational reality. Continuity and angle also serve extremely important roles in terms of expressing a character's personality development, affect, and emotions. The present thesis discussed the character development methods for a character actor's role of 'Ri Myung-un' in the film 'The Spy Gone North'.

Anton Chekhov was able to deliver a significant influence to the 20th realist drama types and styles, because his deep thoughts about diverse aspects of human life were realistically expressed on stages. Western realistic actors endeavored to embody their routines based on their words, behaviors, and habits. Chekhov used his outstanding talent to identify the characteristics of people, created unforgettable drama characters, and focused on their behavioral motives. From his philosophical point of view, Chekhov argued that secrets are hidden in life itself, and that everything, shown on the stage, should be as it is in our actual daily life. The realistic acting, recognizing the difference between the daily truth and the truth mentioned in works, pursued acting styles by which audiences regarded play characters as the real people.

20세기 재즈의 흐름에서 특히 주목할 만한 인물은 마일즈 데이비스로 그의 독창적인 시도와 새로운 접근방식은 현대 음악에도 많은 영향력을 발휘하고 있다. 어느 분야에서건 그 흐름을 주도하는 인물들은 시대적 배경과 무관하지 않다. 흐름을 주도한다는 것은 현재 없던 것을 새로이 선보인다는 개념이 아니라 과거에 있었던 것을 다르게 접근, 발전시킨다는 것이 타당할 것이다. 이 연구에서는 마일즈 데이비스가 보여주었던 수많은 시도 중에서 Nefertiti 라는 특정 곡을 중심으로 20세기 초에 에즈라 파운드를 중심으로 영국과 미국에서 형성되었던 이미지즘과의 연관성을 논하고자 한다. 음악과 문학은 항상 그 시대의 흐름과 무관하지 않았고 독창적인 예술가와 작가의 세계를 연결시켜보는 것 또한 커다란 의미가 있으리라 본다.
