A Study of the Order of Precedence Investment in Distribution System Using Interruption Cost with Facility Failure Rate (정전비용과 설비고장률을 이용한 배전계통의 설비 투자 순위평가 분석)

  • Recently, it is focused on a methodology to estimate a order of precedence investment in distribution power system under competitive electricity market. This paper suggests methodology to evaluate the order as using a sensitivity of system interruption cost in distribution system regarding a failure rate of distribution components. In this paper, by using one of feeder in RBTS model, the order is assessed to compare valuation about sensitivity of interruption cost with valuation about sensitivity of estimated reliability indices. In conclusion, it is shown that results of precedence investment based on each methods are difference.

  • Increasing elevator system every year that is directly connected passenger's safety and connected peculiarity Reliability of each variety equipment that is composing elevator is linked with passenger's safely, and prevent accident is important. Malfunction by electric part of elevator system that is composing elevator is not easy to examine closely the cause. Estimation about malfunction of component by electric power quality must consist among them. In this paper, inspect elevator accident figure to examine effect that electric power quality gets on elevator that see and presented thing for research direction and necessity of electric safety consideration by such electric malfunction.

A Study on Revision Method of Historical Fault Data Considering Maintenance Effect to Use Proportional Aging Reduction(PAR) (PAR기법을 이용하여 유지보수 영향을 고려한 고장 데이터의 보정기법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper suggests a revision method for historical fault data using Proportional Aging Reduction(PAR) to consider maintenance effect in time-varying failure rate. In order to product time-varying failure rate, the historical fault data are necessary. However, the maintenance record could be left out in historical data by spot operator's mistake. In this case, the failure rate is produced less than the average failure rate for increasing equipments' life-time by maintenance effect. Hence, it is necessary for new time-varying failure rate to extract maintenance effect from the existing fault data. In this paper, the revision method to reduce equipments' life-time, adversely using PAR among three techniques to consider maintenance effect.

  • This paper introduces the design and implementation of a Ku-band 5-bit monolithic phase shifter with a ceramic package. The 5-bit phase shifter MMIC was designed and fabricated by using GaAs MESFET switches. The packaged phase shifter demonstrates a phase error less than 11.3 $^{\circ}$ RMS and an insertion loss variation less than 1.0㏈ RMS for 13∼15㎓. For all 32 states, an insertion loss is measured to be 12.2${\pm}$2.2㏈, an input return loss more than 5.0㏈, and an output return loss more than 6.2㏈ from 13㎓ to 15㎓. The chip size of the 5-bit phase shifter MMIC is 2.35${\times}$1.65mm$\^$2/ including digital control circuits. The size of the ceramic packaged phase shifter is 7.2${\times}$6.2mm$\^$2/.

  • It's essential to evaluate harmonic characteristics of electric train because harmonics have negative effects on a main circuit of electric train, substations and communication system. So, we measured harmonics of electric train during test operating on conservational railroad, In the result, we can know relation between operation mode(acceleration, breaking operation and uniform speed operation) and harmonics.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the behavior of the welding distortion of the 9% Ni steel weldment involving the martensitic phase transformation. In order to do it, an uncoupled thermal-mechanical finite element (FE) model was developed to evaluate the effect of the phase transformation on the distortion for the weldment. High speed quenching dilatometer tests were employed to define the variations of the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) with the fraction of the martensitic phase transformation, which strongly depends on the cooling speed after welding. Comprehensive experiments for the welding distortion of the weldment with reference to welding heat input were employed to verify the FE model.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the predictive equation of the distortion at the ES and SA weldment of Cr-Mo low alloy steel. In order to do it, the effect of heat input, plate thickness and strip wire width for ESW on the distortion at the ES and SA weldment was evaluated using FEA. Based on the results, the principal factors controlling the distortion of the ES and SA weldment were identified and the predictive equation was established.

  • 본 연구는 이상음원(비명, 유리창 파손음, 경적소리 등) 발생 시, 2개의 마이크로폰에 입력되는 사운드에 대하여 음원 방향추적 장치와 연결된 카메라에 음원의 방향 정보를 전송함으로써, 카메라의 View Point를 음원 발생방향으로 이동시켜 사고현장을 더욱 신속하게 대처할 수 있는 시스템에 대한 연구이다. 일반적인 음성을 이용한 감시카메라는 단순히 소리 발생 여부만 감지하지만, 본 시스템은 이상음원 발생 지점으로 카메라의 방향 제어를 가능하게 한다. 이상음원의 검출은 기존에 수집한 DB를 기반으로 비교, 분석 과정을 통하여 이상음원을 분류한다. 음원 발생 방향은 음원 발생 시, 마이크로폰에 도달하는 음원의 시간차에 따른 음파의 위상차를 계산하여 음원 발생 방향을 판단하게 된다.

  • It was accomplished that failure analysis not only failure numbers but also power system components every years. and these informations help power system operation considerably. power system equipment were occurred a break down by natural phenomenon and aging but it was not able to predict this failure number. But many papers and technical repots study for each equipment failure rate and reliability evaluation methods. so this paper show a failure number prediction whole power system component using Markov theory not each component failure probability. the result present a next month system failure number prediction.

Fabrication of Wafer Level Fine Pitch Solder Bump for Flip Chip Application (플립칩용 웨이퍼레벨 Fine Pitch 솔더범프 형성)

  • Solder bump was electroplated on wafer for flip chip application. The process is as follows. Ti/Cu were sputtered and thick PR was formed by several coating PR layer. Fine pitch vias were opened using via mask and then Cu stud and solder bump were electroplated. Finally solder bump was formed by reflow process. In this paper, we opened 40㎛ vias on 57㎛ thick PR layer and electroplated solder bump with 70㎛ height and 40㎛ diameter. After reflow process, we could form solder bump with 53㎛ height and 43㎛ diameter. In plating process, we improved the plating uniformity within 3% by using ring contact instead of conventional multi-point contact.
