Mediating Effect of Work-Family Conflict in the Relationship between Sleep Problems and Job Engagement in Married Female Nurses (기혼여성 간호사의 수면문제와 직무열의 간의 관계에서 일-가정 갈등의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was conducted to investigate the effect of sleep problems and work-family conflict on job engagement of married female nurses and prove the mediating effect of work-family conflict. This study was the secondary data analysis from the 5th Korean Working Conditions Survey. The sample included 259 married female nurses. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 program. As a results, the significant predictors for job engagement were sleep problems (β=-.33) and work-family conflict (β=-.30). Also, there was a mediating effect of work-family conflict between sleep problems and job engagement(p<.001). And these variables explained 28.0% of married female nurses' job engagement. These findings may also be useful for improving the work-related well-being of married female nurses. Therefore, findings from this research can be used to institute guidelines for convergence interventions to increase job engagement in married female nurses.

In vivo Functional Analysis of γ-butyrolactone Autoregulator Receptor Gene (scaR) in Streptomyces clavuligerus (Streptomyces clavuligerus의 γ-butyrolactone autoregulator receptor 유전자에 대한 in vivo 기능 분석)

  • A $\gamma-butyrolactone$ autoregulator receptor has a common activity as DNA-binding transcriptional repressors controlling secondary metabolism and/or morphological differentiation in Streptomyces. A gene (scaR) encoding it was cloned from Streptomyces cravuligerus, a clavulanic acid producer, and was in vitro characterized in a previous report. In this study to clarify the in vivo function of ScaR, a $\gamma-butyrolactone$ autoregulator receptor of Streptomyces clavuligerus, we constructed a scaR-deleted strain by means of homologous recombination. No difference in morphology was found between the wild-type strain and the scaR-disruptant, but the scaR-disruptant showed higher clavulanic acid production. This indicates that the ScaR in S. clavuligerus acts as a negative regulator of the biosynthesis of clavulanic acid, but plays no role in morphological differentiation.

A Convergence Study on Difference of Health Behaviors depending on wether Sexual Experiences of Adolescents (청소년의 성경험 유무에 따른 건강행태 차이에 대한 융복합 연구)

  • This study investigated the differences in health behaviors of adolescents depending on their sexual experiences. Secondary data analysis was conducted using the data of 61,861 respondents from the 2017 adolescents' health behavior online survey in Korea. Adolescents with sexual experience were typically male, in high school, from a boy's school, had low academic performance, lived apart from their parents, and of either high or low economic status; their health behaviors were characterized by more physical activity, stress, sadness and hopelessness, thought/planned/attempted suicide, drinking, and smoking. Almost half of adolescents with sexual experience (48.9%) did not use contraception. The results of this study are significant and can contribute to the development of sex education programs when considering the characteristics of Korean adolescents and their sexual health.

Analyses on the Initial Charge-Discharge Characteristics of Half and Full Cells for the Lithium Secondary Battery using by the Gradual Increasing of State of Charge(GISOC) (충전용량점증분석법(GISOC)에 의한 리튬이차전지 Half Cell 및 Full Cell의 초기 충방전 특성 분석)

  • Characteristics of half cells of graphite/lithium and LiCoO$_2$/lithium, and full cells of graphite/LiCoO$_2$/ were analyzed by the use of GISOC(the gradual increasing of the state of charge). GISOC analyses generated IIE(the initial intercalation efficiency), which represents lithium intercalation property of the electrode material, and IIC$_{s}$(the initial irreversible capacity by the surface), which represents irreversible reaction between the electrode surface and electrolyte. Linear-fit range of graphite and LiCo/O$_2$electrodes were respectively 370 and 150 mAh/g based on material weight. IIE of graphite and LiCo/O$_2$electrodes were respectively 93∼94 % and 94∼95 %, and IICs of graphite and LiCo/O$_2$electrodes were 15∼17 mAH/g and 0.3∼1.7 mAh/g, respectively. IIE of graphite/LiCo/O$_2$full cell for GX25 and DJG311 as graphite showed 89∼90 %, which IIE value was lower than IIE of half cell of the cathode and the anode. Parameters of IIE and IIC$_{s}$ can also be used to represent not only half cell but also full cell. The characteristics of the full cell can be simulated through the correlative interpretation of potential profile, IIE, and IIC$_{s}$ of half cells.cells.

Emission Characteristics of Mercury and Heavy Metals from Coal and Waste Fuels (석탄과 폐기물 연료의 수은 및 중금속 배출 특성)

  • Waste can be utilized as secondary or alternative fuel. Solid recovered fuel (SRF) and dried sewage sludge were combusted to investigate heavy metal emissions from their combusiton in this study. Content of copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg) of coal, SRF and dried sewage sludge were determined, respectively. Concentrations of these heavy metals in the combustion flue gas were also determined. As a result, emissions of gas-phase Cu, Cr, Cd, Ni, Zn, Pb and As compounds were found to be little. However, a significant amount of gas-phase Hg was emitted from combustion of coal, SRF and dried sewage sludge. While SRF showed a high mercury oxidation percentage in its combustion flue gas, dried sewage sludge showed a high level of gaseous mercury emission.

The Impact Factors and Longitudinal Change of Interest on Scientific Subject (과학교과 흥미도의 종단적 변화와 그 영향요인)

  • This study analyzes the factors influencing interest on scientific subject and its change in Korean youth by using a sample from KEEP(Korea Education and Employment Panel 1-4) data. The results are as follows: First, the interest on scientific subject of Korean youth show quadratic curve. Also, the interrelationship between intercept and slope of subject interest is -.205 but it is not statistically significant Second, analysis of Latent Growth Models shows that self-esteem, academic achievement, school culture/climates and high school tracks are found to be a statistically significant factor on the intercept of subject interest These findings indicate that the interest on scientific subject of the Korean youth show a quadratic curve and various factors such as self-esteem, academic achievement and school culture/climates are much more influential on it.

Dissolution Mechanism of Abandoned Metal Ores and Formation of Ochreous Precipitates, Dalseong Mine (달성광산의 폐금속 광석의 용해메커니즘과 하상 침전물의 형성특징)

  • The formation of acid mine drainage is closely related to water chemistry and ochreous sprecipitates formed at the bottom of creeks because it is initially derived from the possible water-rock interaction in abandoned waste metals at the mine. According to analyses on water, precipitates, and alteration characters of ore metals in Dalseone mine, whitish precipitates formed at pHs above 5 while schwertmannite formed at pH $3{\sim}4$. Water chemistry vary with seasons. The water chemistry of the treatment site measured ir Octoter 2002 is characterized by lower pH, and higher Al, Zn, Cu contents relative to those in March, 2003. In the latter case, As and Cl contents are very high. $^{27}Al$ MAS NMR data show the presence of predominant octahedral Al in whitish precipitates. Metal ore minerals dissolve at margins, cleavage, or comer of crystals where reactive sites are potential. Pyrite dissolves, forming etch pits or smooth faces on the edge.

Hand Tracking and Calibration Algorithm Using the EPIC Sensors (EPIC 센서를 이용한 Hand Tracking 및 Calibration 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we research the hand tracking and calibration algorithm using the EPIC sensor. We analyze the characteristics of EPIC sensor to be more sensitive in the around E-filed, and then we implement the 2-dimensional axis-transformation using the difference of detected amplitude between EPIC sensors. In addition, we implement the calibration algorithm considering the characteristics of EPIC sensor, and then we apply the Kalman filter to efficiently track a target. Thus, we implement the environment of window applications for verification and analysis the implemented algorithm. In turn, we use the DAQ API to extract the analog data. The DAQ hardware has the function of measuring and generating an electrical signal. Moreover, we confirm the movement of mouse cursor by detecting the potential difference depending on the movement of the user's hands.

$Cs^+$이온 반응성 산란에 의한 Si(111)-7$\times$7 표면에서의 산소 흡착 연구

  • Si 산화는 반도체 공정상 필요한 과정으로 산업적으로나 학문적으로 중요하고 많이 연구되었다. 이중에서 Si(1110-7x7표면에서 초기 흡착된 산소는 준안정적 상태로 존재하며 표면온도, 산소의 노출량 그리고 진공도에 따라 그 수명이 제한된다. 이러한 준안정적 상태의 산소의 화학적 성질은 여러 표면분석장비가 동원되어 연구되었으나 아직까지 논쟁이 되고 있다. 이 경우 산소가 어떤 상태로 존재하는가는 표면화학종을 검출함으로서 해결될 수 있다. 저에너지 Cs+ 이온 반응성 산란은 이러한 요구를 충족시킬수 있는 가장 적합한 실험 방법중의 하나이다. 저에너지 Cs+ 이온 산란의 특징 중의 하나는 입사된 Cs+ 이온이 표면에 흡착된 화학종과 충돌후 탈착되면서 반응을 하여 송이 이온을 형성한다는 것이다. 이 송이 이온을 관측함으로서 표면에 존재하는 화학종을 알아 낼 수 있다. 이에 산소가 흡착된 Si(111)-7x7 표면에서의 산소의 준안정적 상태가 저에너지 Cs+ 이온 산란 실험을 통하여 연구되었다. 실험은 0.2-2L(1Langmuir = 10-6 Torr x 1 sec) 산소 노출량과 -15$0^{\circ}C$ - $25^{\circ}C$의 표면온도 그리고 5eV - 20eV의 Cs+ 이온 충돌에너지에서 CsSiO+ 이온이 유일한 생산물로서 검출되었다. CsSiO+ 이온은 입사된 Cs+ 이온과 표면에 존재하는 SiO 분자가 충돌 후 반응하여 탈착된 것으로 생각된다. 이것은 낮은 산소 노출량 즉, 초기 산화 단계에서 SiO가 표면에 존재한다는 것을 의미한다. 즉, 산소 분자는 산화단계의 초기에 해리되어 표면에 흡착되고 선구물질인 SiO를 형성함을 제시한다. 최근의 이론적 계산인 density functional calculation에서도 산소분자가 Si(111)-7$\times$7 표면의 준안정적 산화상태의 선구물질일 가능성을 배제한다. 이는 본 저에너지 Cs+ 이온 반응성 산란실험을 뒷받침하는 계산 결과이다. 높은 Cs+ 이온 충돌에너지에서 CsSi+, Si+, SiO+, Si2+, Si2O+ 등이 추가로 검출되었다. 이는 CsSi 이온을 제외하고 수 keV의 충돌에너지를 사용하는 이차 이온 질량 분석법과 비슷한 결과이다.

Analysis of Quality Measurement & Evaluation Index in applying Web Information Service I (Web 정보서비스 평가를 위한 기존 측정지표 분석 I)

  • A fundamental issue to consider when searching Web information is the quality of information itself and of service. If a Quality Information System (QIS) of Digital Library is sought, new measurement criteria and evaluation index for Web information service are required. Reliance on the existing evaluation criteria is not acceptable if data retrieved are not information and the service is only noise to end-user. Applying existing evaluation criteria of online database to Environmental & Energy Engineering Web DB revealed the limitations and provided a practical and case-based information for improvement. No attempt was made to survey comprehensively all of the evaluation methods that could possibly be relevant. Instead, this discussion concentrates on the information service evaluation index being developed in the KDPC Project. The research found that domestic Web-DB service are still woefully insufficient to conduct comprehensive investigations on environmental topics. More qualified and specialized R&D Web information service and the development of new evaluation criteria based on this investigation(research I.) will be discussed in follow-up research II.
