It has been known that latissimus dorsi(LD) myocutaneous flap based on thoracodorsal artery is one of most useful method for microreconstructive surgery and the thoracodorsal artery of this flap has constant vascular anatomy. The retrospective study for anatomy of the thoracodorsal arterial system was performed at operative cases. The aim of this study was to document the anatomical variation of this pedicle clinically. 167 LD flaps were carried out from 1983 to 2002 in our clinic. We found unusual 7(4.2%) cases compared to standard textbooks of anatomy. One case was no vascular supply to LD muscle. In 2(1.2%) cases thoracodorsal artery was a typical branch of the subscapular artery but didn't branch to LD muscle, passed to lower serratus anterior muscle, and at this point, supplied vessel to LD muscle and it's vascular diameter was about 1mm diameter. The thoracodorsal artery arose from the axillary artery in 1.8% of cases(3 cases). One case had less than 1mm vascular diameter but a branch of subscapluar artery. It should be emphasized that we must elevate the latissimus dorsi flap after accurate cognition for the anatomy of thoracodorsal artery because the thoracodorsal arterial system is almost reliable but not uniform in rare cases.

정수용 입상활성탄(Granular Activated Carbon, GAC)에서 발생하는 세균 생장 현상을 파악하기 위해 활성탄 칼럼을 제작하고, 수돗물을 고정식 상향류 방식으로 (EBCT = 0.92~1분) 통수시켰다. 봄에는 14일 동안 세균수의 파과(breakthrough) 현상이 없었다. 여름에는 야자계와 석탄계 활성탄 칼럼의 유출 세균수는 비슷하여 파과전에 $10^2$ CFU/ ml수준으로 유입수보다 낮았지만, 10일 이후 유출수가 $10^3$ CFU/ml 로 유입수의 $10^2$ CFU/ml보다 높은 값을 보였다. 칼럼 내부 4지점의 활성탄을 깊이에 따라 분석했을 때 유입수 유입부에 가까울수록 많은 세균수가 관찰되었고 세균군집의 활성은 유사하였다 성장하는 세균은 야자계와 석탄계 활성탄이 서로 달랐지만 Acinetobacter 속이 우점을 이루고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 우리나라 치즈 소비 추세가 장차 친환경, 기능성, 순수 자연 치즈 위주의 소비 시대로 전환될 것을 예상하면서 향후 참살이와 건강 기능성을 고려한 새로운 개념의 건강 기능성 복합 고 영양 식품인 약재형 자연 치즈 개발과 상품화를 위해 한국인의 취향과 기호성을 고려한 한국형 치즈 제품화를 위해 수행되었다. 이상의 결과에서 산삼주 첨가 가우다 치즈 제조는 숙성도 증진, 유산균 증식성 및 기능성 지표 성분 잔류량을 고려하여 2%와 6% 첨가가 적합함을 알 수 있었고 추후 관능검사 결과와 소비자 묘사 분석 결과들을 수합 정리하여 최적 첨가량 추적 검사를 통해 상품화 방향의 정립이 필요한 것으로 사료되었다.

A 51-year-old man developed diplopia while driving. The brain CT film demonstrated a hemorrhage in the left midbrain and thalamus. On our first diagnosis after 8 days from onset, partial ptosis and limitation of adduction in the left eye were detected. We evaluated that the patinet's digestive system was weak, so that treated the patient with Bojungikki-tang and Sa-am acupuncture Bi-Jung-Geouk(脾正格). As a result, limitation of adduction was recovered to about 90% of normal range and Ptosis was recovered just likely with the normal eye.

This experimental study deals with the characteristics of LCD or PDP TV set noise, which are differ form those of CRT TV set. These characteristics are most important for establishing the effective method to reduce noise level, searching for the appropriate exposure level and evaluation method of LCD or PDP TV set noise. This study adopt two measurement method to specify the power level of LCD or PDP TV set noise in anechoic room(ISO 3741) and reverberation room(ISO 3745) . Comparing with each results of the two method, the reverberation room method is more simple in measuring and calculating the power level. And the subjective response test are carried out to select the pair of appropriate adjectives to present the characteristics of LCD or PDP TV set noise. The pair of 17 adjectives are selected from the 168 adjectives which are used in presenting the sound and noise form literature.

Malignant myoepithelioma (myoepithelial carcinoma), is a very rare malignant epithelial accounting for less than 1% of all salivary gland tumors and has an intermediate malignant potential. We report a case of malignant myoepithelioma arising in the left parotid giand in a 54-year-old man, which was difficult to differentiate from pleomorphic adenoma and other malignant salivary gland neoplasms. Fine needle aspiration cytology of the parotid gland showed cellular smear, composed of overlapped sheets and clusters or individually scattered tumor cells without any acinic or ductal structures. The tumor cells were rather uniform, with distinct cell borders and moderate amount of cytoplasm. The eccentrically located nuclei were oval to round and pleomorphic and showed prominent nucleoli. A few clear cells were noted in the cellular aggregates Metachromatic matrix was seen between individual tumor cells in a lacelike fashion, resembling pleomorphic adenoma. According to the immunohistochemical staining, we recognized that the component cells are myoeplthelial in nature, showing reactivity for the S-100 protein, vimentin, and actin.

The height provisions, by the urban planning, describe the hightest height per width division, also define oblique line limitation by road without mentioning the highest per width division. Therefore this study will be a basic model for the standard of measuring the highest height per width division analysizing the propriety of current standard of oblique limitation. This technique is prepared to prevent the confusion and to complements the existing planning method. Therefore, it takes more time to establish this new method and to apply it to the existing condition. This study reviewed density control in District Units Plan, based on the guidelines of density, which included height, ratio of total floor to ground area, and land distribution. This study aims to provide efficient analysis by using current oblique limitation provisions Thus, proving the area rations of general residential areas are decreasing. Since the purpose of the District Units Plan is to avoid confusion and help ease the existing problematic conditions which have risen from the two above-mentioned conventional systems, further observation and research on these areas are necessary.

In large scale superconducting rotating machine, HTS field coils are constructed with many stacks of single or double pancake coils connected in series. In spite of its higher thermal stability, HTS field coil experiences some quench, which results in some part of burn-out in the field coils. Thus in the view point of the HTS rotating machine field coil design and testing, it was very important to predict the possibility of quench occurrence in the designed field coils. In this paper, a HTS racetrack coil constructed with two single pancake coils and one double pancake coil was tested in LN2 and cooling by GM refrigerator. It is wound using the Bi-2223 tape. The experimental details and results are presented in this paper.

Sarcoidosis is a multi systemic granulomatous disease of unknown etiology and pathogenesis. The granulomas are non-caseating, and the organs that are affected most frequently are the lungs, the skin, and the eyes. However it may also involve the liver, spleen, bone, nervous system, and other organs. The diagnosis is based on the identification of noncaseating granuloma in the tissues involved, excluding other granulomatous conditions. The diagnosis of sarcoid joint disease is often made in retrospect and only when the lung or eye is involved. We report a case of sarcoid synovitis in knee joint with review of literature.
