전기응집 및 탈수 시스템을 이용한 슬러지 함수율 저감 특성 (Performance Evaluation of Electrocoagulation and Electrodewatering for the Reduction of Water Content in Wastewater Sludge)

  • This study is to develop the pretreatment for the excess and digested sludge by elector-coagulation and dewatering. Electrocoagulation is applied to excess and digested sludge before transferring to the pistion type for dewatering. Piston type filter press as a laboratory scale plant was used to estimate the dewaterability. MMD of excess sludge was increased from initial diameter of particles ($34.16{\mu}m$) to the 87%($64.01{\mu}m$) after electrocoagulation. Al electrode is more effective than Fe electrode for the dewaterabiltity of excess sludge Electrodewatering after electrocoagulation as pretreatment makes the water content of sludge cake 50~60 wt%.

  • The air-side particulate fouling in the heat exchangers of HVAC applications degrades the performance of cooling capacity, pressure drop across a heat exchanger, and indoor air quality. Indoor and outdoor air contaminants foul heat exchangers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cooling performance and pressure drop on the air-side particulate fouling of heat exchangers for air conditioners. Air conditioners being used in the field such as inn, restaurant, and office are collected in chronological used order. Test results show 15% decrease of the cooling capacity and 44% increase of the pressure drop for the 7 years air conditioners used in the seaside inn.

탄산염광물화용 활석의 열처리에 따른 결정학적 분광학적 특성변화 (Crystallographic and Spectroscopic Characterization of Talc proposed Mineral Carbonation after Heat Treatment)

  • The heat treatment characteristics of natural talc sample was investigated in diverse analytical view point. The mass decrease comes to heat treatment was resulted by the continuous and the discontinuous process and the obtained result show very similar two step profiles with 8.9 % mass decrease. The dehydroxylation of -OH groups contained talc crystal was analyzed by spectroscopic method and the crystallographic variations was also observed after heat treatment. According to XPS result, the magnesium hydroxide($Mg(OH)_2$) of untreated talc powder changed to magnesium oxides(MgO) after heat treatment.
