Satisfaction Factors and Determinants of Visitors in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea (변산반도국립공원의 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing the practical park management. For this, satisfaction degree, satisfaction factors and estimated model by satisfaction variables of visitors analyzed through a questionnaire survey in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea. In the evaluation of the satisfaction, variables of 'careless cooking'. 'collection of natural plants & animals', 'Noise and urination on the road' and 'Littering problem' at Naesosa and 'crowding', 'touting', 'Indiscreet use' and 'Illegal merchant' at Gyeokpo was most unsatisfied than any other variables. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'user management' at Naesosa(65.1%) and 'business behavior management at Gyeokpo(68.4%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'crowding' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Naesosa and 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'Illegal merchant', Lack of facility to stay' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Gyeokpo. So, Mountain and marine National Parks needed different management policy and are required to institutional apparatus for user education.

  • This study aims to lead the new discussion by looking at variables affecting the number of subscription channels and subscription satisfaction in the absence of academic discussion of users' YouTube subscriptions. To this end, we conducted an online survey and analyzed the factors affecting the number of subscription channels and subscription satisfaction of YouTube users. We conducted hierarchical regression to examine their subscription motivation with exploratory factor analysis and to examine the impact of subscription motivations and the intentionality of Youtubers and the usefulness of YouTube knowledge on the number of subscription channels and subscription satisfaction. The analysis results are as follows: First, YouTube's usage and convenience motivation have had a static impact on the number of subscription channels. Second, factors affecting subscription satisfaction have been shown to be convenience subscription motivation, communication with Youtubers motivation, and perceived usefulness of YouTube. The practical significance of this work is that it can be beneficial to platform and channel operators in the changing new media environment. Furthermore, it aims to expand the interaction research extensions between YouTuber and users in the new media environment.

Evaluation of Scholarly Information System in STEM (STEM 학술정보시스템 평가)

  • The fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine) are changing rapidly. Recently, with the remarkable development of Internet and Web technologies, an environment that can be accessed worldwide has been created, thereby lowering the barriers to share STEM knowledge and information. The purpose of this study is to derive improvements by evaluating users' satisfaction with the information system developed by applying the open access model in the STEM field. Through an online survey using a structured questionnaire, a total of 204 users participated from January to February. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative statistical techniques. IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) technique was used. By identifying the importance and satisfaction (performance) between variables, areas with relatively low satisfaction compared to importance were derived. Users' overall satisfaction with the open access information system was 81.2 points and social reliability was 85.9 points, which were relatively high, respectively. What should be paid attention to in this study is the satisfaction with the system use environment, which is the most vulnerable area.

Analysis of Visitor's Satisfaction Factors and Determinants in Naejangsan National Park, Korea (내장산국립공원의 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형 분석)

'Lack of use program', 'Lack of facility to stay' 'Charge of user fee, parking fee' and 'Exorbitant pay' at Naejangsan park office and 'Charge of user fee, parking fee', 'Lack of use program' and 'Lack of facility to stay' at Baekam park office was more unsatisfied than any other variable. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'Facility management' at Naejangsan park office(34.3%) and 'user management' at Baekam park office(45.6%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'damage of trail', 'Lack of commercial facility', and 'Littering problem' at Naejangsan park office and 'damage of cultural and historic resource', 'Lack of commercial facility', 'Touting' at Baekam park office. So, Naejangsan National Park needed intensive management policy and institutional apparatus for facility management and user education.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학기술정보서비스에 대한 고객만족도를 기반으로 하여 충성고객을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 구축하는 것이다. 이를 위해 정보서비스를 경험한 최근 1년이내 한국가과학기술전자도서관(NDSL : National Digital Science Library)사이트를 이용한 회원을 대상을 조사를 하였으며, 조사목적은 NDSL 서비스의 추천지수 측정을 통하여 추천, 비추천 사유를 파악하기 위함이다. 조사방법은 전화조사(Telephone Interview)로 진행하고 표본 수는 500명의 의사결정자를 대상으로 측정하였다. 고객충성도는 NPS(Net Promoter Score, 순고객추천지수) 이론에 근거하여 하였다. 연구결과 고객만족도 수준에 따라 비추천고객, 추천고객을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 구축하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 인터넷 등 정보의 발달로 고객의 긍정적 또는 부정적인 구전이 급속도로 노출되는 환경에서 고객의 만족도를 관리함으로써 충성고객을 확보하는데 사전 예측자료로 활용될 수 있다.

A Study on the Effect of Public Libraries' ESG Management on Its Perception, User Satisfaction, and the User's Intention to Revisit (공공도서관의 ESG경영이 도서관 인식, 이용자 만족도 및 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we designed and verified a research model in order to determine whether ESG management for public libraries affects the perception of libraries, user satisfaction, and the intention to revisit. A survey was conducted among the users of six public libraries in the Gyeonggi region and 25 libraries in Seoul, and 247 valid responses from the survey were analyzed. The analysis revealed that the environment and society factors of ESG management had a positive effect on the perception of libraries and user satisfaction. It also showed that the libraries' perception had a positive impact on user satisfaction and the intention to revisit, and user satisfaction showed a positive correlation for the intention to revisit. From the analysis, we can infer that the effects of ESG management were reflected in everyday life via public libraries as ESG management of the public libraries influenced the perception of libraries, user satisfaction, and the intention to revisit. We confirmed that users showed the intention to revisit if the library provides positive and sincere satisfaction through ESG management, due to public libraries having ethical and moral significance to users. We have also put forward practical marketing strategies and identified areas for enhancement that can prove beneficial to public libraries.

A Study of Methods for Management and Assessment of Present State of the Coastal Wetlands as Protected Area - Focused on the awareness of local residents in Suncheon Bay and Taeanhaean National Park - (보호구역으로서의 연안습지의 현황 평가 및 관리방안에 관한 연구 - 태안해안국립공원 및 순천만 지역의 주민의식을 기초로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is the investigation and analysis of information on the conservation and the sustainable use of coastal wetlands based on the awareness of local residents in Suncheon Bay and Taeanhaean National Park. To accomplish the purpose of study, a questionnaire survey was chosen and the 98 valid samples(38 from Taeanhaean National Park and 60 from Suncheon Bay) among them were analyzed. The results are summarized as follows: The degree of the satisfaction on the natural environment is alike between Taeanhaean National Park and Suncheon-bay area. This is accorded with the order of the goodness of natural environment. The order for the degree of the satisfaction on the living environment is same as the order for the satisfaction degree on the natural environment. The residents of two regions are not satisfied with the socio·economic environment. The local resident of Suncheon Bay and Taeanhaean National Park Area where natural environment is well-conserved, prefer conservation to development of the region. These results show the following consideration for the ideal method of management for the conservation and sustainable development of coastal wetlands. In case of Suncheon Bay area, where the condition the natural environment is well conserved, should be managed with the minimum development with maintenance of the current state must be driven. In case of Taeanhaean National Park Area, where the condition of the natural environment is well conserved and the development potential exists, such as sustainable development and ecotourism destination the development that is in harmony with the nature must to be driven.

A Study on the Foodservice Quality of Japanese Restaurants using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) (중요도-만족도 분석을 활용한 일식 레스토랑의 품질특성에 관한 연구)

  • Japanese restaurant owners seek to secure their competitive advantage by implementing a unique competition strategy that may overcome hostile environment. Brand power, aggressive expansion and the partnership strategy with other businesses may be suggested. The present study is to find out the competitive advantages of Japanese restaurants, to compare the importance and satisfaction by different customer factors of choices and then, to identify what kinds of factors affect customer satisfaction. Total 205 copies of questionnaire, out of 230 distributed, were used for analyses. Cronbarch's alpha coefficient of all 20 items was 0.911. In terms of importance, Cronbarch's alpha coefficients were 0.887(food), 0.796(menu), 0.851(employee), 0.815(service), and 0.730(physical environment). For satisfaction, the coefficients were 0.876(food), 0.860(menu), 0.880(employee), 0.851(service), 0.730(physical environment). In addition, the exploratory factor analysis showed an acceptable factor loading, supporting 20 items' validity. The result showed that customers' perceptions of the importance of Japanese restaurant service quality was higher than their level of satisfaction in general. In particular, IPA analysis revealed that food and service factors were well operated as located in the first quadrant. However, service factor located in the second quadrant was perceived to be important yet perceived as being satisfied poorly. So this study suggests that Japanese restaurant owners should concentrate on the attributes included in this quadrant to improve the quality of foodservice. Lastly, menu and physical environment factors were located in the third quadrant showing low level of importance and satisfaction. On the basic of the IPA analysis, Japanese restaurant owners should identify their strengths and weaknesses and draw up a plan to improve service quality and to maximize their profits.

The Influence of Resident Satisfaction Regarding Buffer Green Space at Meoyng-ji Multi-family Housing in Busan Metropolitan City (부산광역시 명지주거단지 완충녹지가 거주생활 만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Buffer green space in the residential area is a mechanism for improving the residential environment and also significant for residential life satisfaction and its various social roles. Accordingly, this study aimed to discover the effect of the buffer green space, which was established to minimize environmental influences of the residential environment, on residential life satisfaction. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on residents in Myeongji Residential Area where the buffer green space was installed, to examine the factors of the buffer green space and to analyze its causal relation with residential life satisfaction. The SPSS(statistical package for social science) 21 program was used for analysis and factorial analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were executed. As a result, the roles of the buffer green space in Myeong-ji Residential Area included residential comfort, disaster protection, green space usability and environmental ecological property. In the overall accrued factorial contribution rate, residential comfort was very high with 40.54% out of total 62.48%. In addition, the residential comfort and green area usability had a higher correlation with residential life satisfaction. However, the significant level of disaster protection and environmental ecological property were 0.725 and 0.898, respectively, which were not significant as a preference factor in multiple regression analysis. Accordingly, the buffer green space for improving residential comfort and green space usability was confirmed to enhance residential life satisfaction.

Recreation Impacts on Soil and Vegetation and Estimation of Psychological Carrying Capacity in Mt. Bukhan National Park (북한산 국립공원의 토양 및 식생에 대한 이용영향 및 심리적 수용력의 추정)

  • This study was excuted to measure the user's impact area of the Bukhan Mountain National Park. Eighteen sites of the campsite and the picnic area were sample to measure the impact rating of soil and vegetation. And three belt transects were sampled to analyze soil properties and vegetational change by the user's impact. Also user's psychology was investigated through questionnaires with the visitor and 726 answers were collected from May to June in 1987. The regression equation was significant between the distance and the soil hardness. individual number per 100$m^2$, herb coverage and similarity index from the center of picnic area to the non-use site. The tolerant tree against user's impact are Lespedza maximowiczii. Stephanandra insica, Actinidia arguta Symplocos chinensis for. pilosa and the sensitive trees were Fraxinus rhy chophylla Sorbus alnifolia. and Rhodadendron mucronulatun. The facilities factor and social factor are the most affecting factors to User's psychology by the varimax rotated factor analysis. The carrying capacity of the picnic area was 25$m^2$ per man by the degree of psychological satisfaction.
