유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이라는 개념이 정보통신 분야의 패러다임으로 자리잡은 지 오래임에도 불구하고 실생활에서 이용 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 서비스는 극히 적다 U-Messaging 서비스는 카메라가 내장된 모바일 단말기와 무선 인터넷을 활용하여, 캠퍼스 환경이라는 물리적 공간과 센서를 활용함으로써 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념을 잘 보여주고 있다. U-Messaging 서비스는 이미지 태그가 부착된 명패와 단말기를 이용하여 방문자의 음성과 문자 메시지를 전달하고 사용자는 나중에 방문기록과 메시지를 조회하도록 해주는 서비스이다. 학생과 일반인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가결과 서비스에 대한 인지성, 편리성, 유용성 측면에서 만족할 안한 결과가 도출되었다.

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the quality attributes of archival information service affecting user satisfaction. The independent variables in this study were equality, tangibles(appearance), convenience, responsiveness, empathy. And the dependent variable was a user satisfaction. The survey was conducted by online and offline for 78 people that used the archival information service. To solve the research question, we used the descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. As a correlation analysis result, the quality attributes of archival information service had positive correlation with a user satisfaction. And as a multiple regression analysis result, tangibles(appearance) had a significant effect, followed by empathy and convenience. For improving on quality of archival information service, it is required that improving facilities, keeping environment clean, enhancing empathy ability, updating the information of archive, reforming search tools.

The study consisted of a survey of the residential satisfaction level of the 3rd grade students and a survey of accessibility from farms for practical field training to public facilities. According to the geographical location of the farms on the map, the average distance to facilities related to convenience or safety and health that students complained was about 12km. And that to social and public facilities was about 4.4km. Students pointed out the convenience of using transportation, commercial and convenient facilities, and the safety of anti-crime security facilities as complaints during the practice session. Residential satisfaction levels in five realms, such as facility and structure, convenience, safety, comfort and sociality, were not all reached at the satisfaction level. In particular, the satisfaction level of female students was sub-normal in the safety and convenience realms. The average satisfaction levels reviewed by department were sub-normal for horse industry and floriculture departments. By residential patterns, satisfaction with sharing with the farmers was higher than with other patterns. And satisfaction level by housing structure was much lower in the assembly and container structures Since residential satisfaction level is determined by the inside and outside environment of the dwelling, college should provide students with accurate and vivid data using information communication technologies.

As society is evolving into a highly smart era, a demand on convenient and safe living environment is increasing and many studies are being progressed in the directions of seeking convenience, safety and comfort in living. Therefore in this paper, a method for controlling the devices within the living space using a smart device and transmitting the information measured from a variety of sensors such as temperature, humidity and gas, etc using the Bluetooth was proposed in order to provide the convenience and safety of living environment.

JavaBeans와 ActiveX는 프로그램 개발자들의 업무 편리성을 지원한다는 점에서 높은 호흥을 얻고 있지만 나름대로 강세를 보이는 영역이 있다. 이는 네트웍 보안이 별로 중요하지 않은 동기종 환경에서 32비트 윈도우 애플리케이션을 개발한다면 ActiveX를 선택하는 것이 합리적인 반면, 보안이 중요시되는 환경에서 실행될 인터넷 인트라넷 애플리케이션을 개발할 경우나, 멀티플랫폼 지원 기능을 이용하거나 이기종 네트웍상의 상호운용성을 보장하고 싶을 때는 JavaBeans를 사용하는 것이 이상적이다.

레이저 광선이 가져다준 많은 장점과 편리함에 비하면 레이저의 위험성이라는 부정적인 요소가 차지하는 비중은 미미하다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 우려되는 것은 레이저를 생산하거나 이용하는 공장의 작업장을 비롯하여, 수술 또는 치료용으로 사용하는 의료기관의 수가 지속적으로 늘어나고 있음을 감안할 때, 이러한 장소에서 레이저를 동작시키는 사용자를 포함한 주변사람이 레이저광선에 직접 또는 간접적으로 노출되어 사고를 당할 확률도 그만큼 높아지고 있다는 점이다.

USB는 사용의 편리성, 넓은 확장성을 기반으로 PC 역사상 가장 성공적인 접속 장치로서, 현재까지 20억 개 이상이 사용되고 있고, USB가 장착된 장치의 종류 및 사용 개수도 빠르게 증가하는 추세이다. 이와 같은 USB의 발전에 힘입어 유선의 속도와 보안성에 무선의 편리함을 추가한 무선 USB 1.0 규격이 2005년 5월 발표되었으며, 상용 제품도 속속 출시되고 있다. 본 고는 유선 USB 2.0 기술에 기반하고 무선 매체로서UWB를 이용하는 무선 USB의 기술 및 표준화 동향에 대하여 소개하고, 무선 USB 기술의 특징 및 국내외 연구 동향에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다.

최근 다양한 실감 미디어 기술과 표출 방법이 제시되고 있다. 특히 개인 방송에서 제작자 및 사용자에게 편리성을 제공하고 시청자의 실감성 체험을 극대화할 필요가 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 멀티 제스처가 필요한 실감 미디어를 멀티 디스플레이, 시점 선택, 3차원 객체 복원으로 정의하였다. 또한 사용자 및 제작자의 편리성을 위해 필요한 제스처에 대한 종류를 분석하였으며, 사용자의 다양한 제스처를 인식하고 실감 콘텐츠를 표출하도록 시스템을 구성하였다.

기존의 컴퓨팅환경에서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경으로의 전환이 이루어지면서 사용자는 언제 어디서나 네트워크에 연결될 수 있다. 이는 역으로 말하면 언제 어디서나 사용자의 정보가 네트워크에 유출될 수도 있다는 것을 의미한다. 컴퓨팅 환경에서 보안성과 편리성의 추구는 서로 상반되는 Trade-off 문제이다. 이 논문에서는 오토노믹 컴퓨팅(Autonomic Computing)의 개념 [1, 2］을 이용, 정해진 개인정보 보호정책(Privacy Policy)에 기반 하여 개인정보를 보호하고 서비스 사용자의 환경 변화에 대안 상황인지(Situation-Aware)를 통해 유연한 개인정보 보호정책을 적용할 수 있는 아키텍쳐를 제안함으로서 보안성(개인정보보호)과 편리성(사용자 개입의 최소화)의 문제를 다루어보았다.

스마트폰에 저장되는 개인정보가 늘어나면서 이를 보호하기 위한 여러가지 인증기법이 제안되었다. 이중 안드로이드 OS에 탑재된 패턴락은 가장 많이 사용되는 인증기법 중 하나이지만 Smudge 공격과 Shoulder surfing 공격에 취약하다고 알려져 있다. LG 전자는 패턴락에 비해 보안성, 편리성이 뛰어난 노크코드라는 기법을 고안하였다. 노크코드는 꺼진 화면에 사용자가 정한 영역을 순서대로 '터치'함으로써 인증을 완료한다. 본 논문에서는 '터치'만을 사용하는 기존 노크코드 기법에 '슬라이드'를 입력으로 추가할 수 있도록 변형시킨 기법 두 가지를 제안하였다. 분석 결과, 기존 기법에 비해 패스워드의 길이가 n(6~8)으로 같을 경우 패스워드의 개수가 $4^n$배까지 증가했음을 정량적으로 보였고 슬라이드 입력을 이용해 Smudge를 직접적으로 제거함으로써 Smudge 공격에 대한 저항력을 높일 수 있음을 보였다.
