The popularization of the internet has produced an explosion in amount of the information. The importance of web personalization is being more and more increased. The personalization is realized by learning user's interest. User's interest is changing continuously and rapidly. We use user's profile to represent user's interest. User's profile is updated to reflect the change of user's interest. In this paper we present an adaptive learning algorithm that can be used to reflect user's interest that is changing with time. We propose the User's profile model. With this profile user's interest is learned based on user's feedback. This approach has applied to develop hybrid recommendation system.

The purpose of this study is to find out user's information needs in public libraries based on websites. The data were collected from the user's plaza in public libraries websites. To identify the user's information needs, the works in the public libraries including acquisition, information services, circulation, digital library, reading room, reference services were analyzed.

본 연구는 질의어 확장 및 단기 이용자 모형 구축에 응용할 수 있는 하나의 기법으로서 이용자 질문구조의 전형을 통한 정보요구의 모형화를 실험을 통해 제시한다. 실험방법은 이용자의 질문을 시소러스를 통해 분석, 구조화 하고 그 질문구조에서 전형을 추출한 후 전형에 따라 요구하는 정보가 질문구조내에 일정하게 위치하는지를 알아보았다. 이러한 실험을 통해 6가지 질문구조 전형을 추출할 수 있었으며 질문구조의 전형을 이용한 정보요구 모형의 구축이 타당성이 있음을 입증하였고 지능형 정보검색 시스템에의 적용가능성을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand user perception and need of bibliotherapy services in public libraries. A survey was conducted using a questionnaire that asked 648 public library users in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do to give their opinions on bibliotherapy services in public libraries, along with the particular areas of the service with which they thought needed the most improvement. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed in order to suggest ways to revitalize bibliotherapy services provided in public libraries.

이용자 개인의 정보요구 및 이용자 정보를 적극 활용하여 이용자 만족도를 극대화 하고자 하는 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)은 도서관계에도 시사하는 바가 크다. 현재 도서관자동화 시스템을 기반으로 도서관 업무가 수행되고 있는 만큼 CRM 시스템과 연계하여 도서관자동화 시스템의 기능을 향상시킨다면 도서관 서비스의 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해서는 이용자중심 서비스로의 전환을 위한 업무의 재구성이 필요하고, CRM과 연계하여 기존 자동화시스템을 보완하여야 할 것이며, 아울러 이용자 개인의 다양한 정보요구를 만족시키려는 도서관 사서의 적극적인 서비스 자세가 조직문화로 정착되는 것이 병행되어야 할 것이다.

In this study, in order to understand the characteristics of the users' information needs for each public library unit, the user needs were analyzed based on the various attribute information of the books loaned to 11 public libraries in 8 districts in Seoul. As a result, the prominent book use patterns of the libraries were revealed, specifically related to the target user groups, purpose/motivation, interests/preferences, book genre, and subject. In addition, there was a preference for authors, and a difference in the role of the preferred authors in each library was also revealed. The results of this study will help to provide guidelines for the development of differentiated collections and service programs based on user needs.

To identify the user's information needs, the works in the university libraries including acquisition, cataloging, circulation, digital collection and electronic system were analyzed. The results of the study will be useful for designing and developing the library system.

With the perspective of information management, on-going monitoring of the specified service function is one of the major activities and even critical process. The research consisted of three empirical research questions such as, the current usage and overall user-satisfaction, the quality of the R&D information content and the service, and the problems which have been observed by the actual user group of National Digital Science Library (NDSL). The results of the investigation provided several guidelines that can be utilized for the improvements of the R&D information user service as well as some recommendations for overall optimal administration.

종교 공간으로서의 교회 건축물은 각 지역 단체생활의 정신적, 물질적으로 다양한 활동을 공급하고 있는 장소이다. 그러나 오늘날 변화무쌍한 현대 사회의 도심 교회들은 그 참여수가 점차 줄고 있는 젊은 세대들에게 충분한 만족을 주고 있지 못한 실정이다. 대부분의 영국 도심 교회가 변화가 어려운 예배당 공간 하나로, 각기 다른 기능을 요구하는 이용자들에게 다기능 공간을 공급하고 있으며, 과거에 잠재적 기능을 고려하지 않고 디자인된 대부분의 한국 도심교회들도 비슷한 조건의 문제 발생으로, 현 이용자들에게 또 다른 요구사항들과 불편함을 주고 있다. 이것은 이용자가 공간을 사용함으로 즐거움과 감흥을 얻기가 어렵게 구성되어 있음을 보여주고 있다. 오늘날, 젊은이들의 생활 패턴이 바뀌어 가고 있음으로 그 실태는 더욱 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 먼저 도심교회 공간의 전형적인 문제점과, 연령별 이용자 그룹의 우선권을 조사하고, 각기 다른 조건의 종교적 공간 사례 조사를 통해 이용자들 및 공간 디자인의 요구사항을 분석하고 있다. 이어서, 각 공간에 따른 문제 해결 방법을 성공적 공간디자인 사례자료를 토대로 정리한 후, 어떠한 종교적 공간에서도 적용 가능하도록 통합적으로 설정된 디자인목표를 바탕으로, 세가지 다른 방법의 계획서들을 제시하고 있다. 마지막으로, 이용자들의 응답을 통해 계획서를 평가하여, 그것에 근거한 결론적인 종합적 디자인 계획서를 제안하고 있다. 본 연구는 교회가 필요로 하는 기능에 따라 변화가 가능한 예배공간을 활용할 수 있는 디자인을 제시하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있으며, 기존의 교회건물이 더욱 더 많이 사용자의 요구에 만족할 수 있도록 만들어질 수 있는가에 대한 방향이 제시되고 있다.

Over the past decade, the environment around libraries for the disabled has been greatly improved. Related legislation was established, facilities and facilities expanded, and the number of related collections and programs increased. In order to solve this problem, a survey of users' needs in accordance with the changing environment needs to be completed. In this study, we studied the existing research and analyzed the core needs of each type of disability employing user interviews and expert Delphi research. Users demanded quantitative and qualitative expansion of resources as well. Users needed personalized services and programs, convenience in using facility, accessibility of web and applications, and professional staff.
