As information technology has developed, the function of a library has been expanding gradually. The traditional library has changed into the electronic library so that users can directly access the library from remote sites and get electronic information without visiting the library. The purpose of this study is to build a model on the basis of the elements that are identified from the existing electronic libraries, and then to survey the current state of electronization in Korean university libraries. The electronic library model consists of four elements : OPAC, commercial online databases, CD-ROM databases, electronic books and journals, access to OPACs of other libraries, and access to other information resources through Internet.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of directory services provided by major Korean search portals: Naver, Daum, Yahoo-Korea, and Empas. A directory service of Open Directory is also compared. These directory services are evaluated in terms of the coverage, category creation criteria, site selection criteria, breadth and depth of hierarchy, clarity and currency of category names, order of category listing, and overall classification system. The results of this study can be implemented for the development and improvement of portal's directory services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing directory services from search portals.

Internet Website has become part of daily life. The public library tends to use the website for the information service and the public relations as well. This study aims to evaluate the Web Accessibility for improving universal services in five public libraries website, Seoul Area. Accessibility testing are used two method, that is A-Prompt analysis and HTML Validation Evaluation. The results of evaluation showed that they have been in error. Finally this study well be used for web accessibility in library website.

Wireless network is one of the 2010's most important security issues. As smartphone is popularize, the number of Wireless Internet users is really growing and wireless AP spring up everywhere. But most wireless AP haven't being managed properly in terms of security, Wireless Internet users also don't recognize important of security. This situation causes grave security threats. This paper design and analyze a new cyber attack whose it circulates malware via QR code and activates Mobile AP to induce service charge. The new vulnerability we suggest forces to activate Mobile AP of smartphone based on Android and responds to all Probe Request are generated around, and brings induction of service charge and communication problems in its train.

This study shows details of a specific space truss frame structure devised to carry out maintenance and repair temporary works in tunnels. The purpose of this study is to verify structural safety and function of the innovative truss structure through an analysis tool, i.e.. ABAQUS, which is a suite of software application for finite element analysis and computer aided engineering. And then optimized size, i.e., thickness and diameter of truss members is evaluated in practice. In this study, construction methods in the temporary works are additionally represented by using the new space truss frame structure.

This paper examines the wearable technology in two aspects. First, it is the desire that permeates the clothes that smart technology is embroidered. Second, it is a reflection on the gaze that looks at the user wearing clothes. This article is a study on clothes that will be newly appeared with wearable technology. But this is not just a technical issue. Rather, it is a system design that takes human instinct into clothes. Therefore, this study encompasses social scientific boundaries. This article does not refer to data collected from wearables as simple sensing based data. Rather, wearable technology reveals human life activities and emotions. This paper is an attempt to combine or combine humanities and technology.

Discovery is an emerging concept to enhance the search capabilities of library resources with the Next Generation Library Catalog. This paper defined the Discovery feature based on the information search behavior, and then derived the elements that make up its function. After that, the 11 regional representatives libraries' OPACs and 3 Internet bookstores are evaluated and compared against Search & Discovery capabilities. As a result, the Internet bookstores were superior to the libraries' OPACs for all the elements that make up the Discovery functions. This study verified that the public libraries OPACs are still concentrating on known item search, and it is hard for the users to meet a serendipity which is gained through the Discovery functions.

Over the last couple of years, established Cumulus Pricing Scheme(CPS) has become an important research issue for efficiently charging differentiated internet services. This paper proposes the adjusted CPS technique that expressed information of over or under-use of resources in bandwidth. And, 1 propose CPS with respect to the six main pricing and charging conditions. Also, accumulation technique may indicate an information between specified charging and eventually requires to adapt the initial contract. So called red and green Cumulus Points(CP) are used to judge the behavior of customer. At this point, the actual resource consumption is described by function v(t) at time t.

In contrast to traditional taxonomy, folksonomy is generated not only by experts but also by creators and consumers of the content. Folksonomy is the practice and method of collaboratively creating and managing tags to annotate and categorize content. It is also known as collaborative tagging or social indexing. Folksonomy is also used to link to create social network that connect people to people who share same interest. Folksonomy users can generally discover the contents by which the tag sets of another user who tends to interpret contents in a way that makes sense to them. Firstly, this study consider the significance and some critical issues about folksonomy. Secondly, analyze special features of Korean academic site's folksonomy, which is managed by academic information site. Accordingly consider the directions of development about folksonomy system.

The purpose of this study is to review recent trends and major emerging problems and explore alternatives of Korean social welfare service policies. The concerns on social welfare service are triggered by the issues of rapid getting lower birth rate and severe growing rate of old people. These concerns resulted in the expansions of social welfare services. But Korean social welfare service systems are not prepared for these expansions. Presenting problems are disconnection between state and local governments, not securing minimum standards on accessibility and service provision, excessive concerns on making caring jobs and lacking in securing of safety and rights of vulnerable service users. As alternatives, this study proposes the integration of market approaches which can facilitate service user's choice and anti-market schemes which could act against the negative effects of market approaches.
