Transportation of KSLV-I FM unit 2 VEB Assembly (KSLV-I 발사2호기 VEB 조합체 이송)

  • There are a lot of electrical and electronic components and pneumatic parts sensitive to vibration and shock in the VEB assembly which KARI directly transports among the KSLV-I upper stage transportation items. So, the special attention in the transportation is required. The transportation container with the apparatus for controlling environment was made in order to meet the requirements. The transportation tests using the engineering model were performed 4 times to verify the performance of the transportation container and to conform the transportation conditions(transportation velocity, route, etc.). In this document, the previous transportation history of the VEB assembly, the overview and the result of the KSLV-I FM unit 2 VEB assembly transportation are described.

  • 최근 스마트폰의 이용 사례가 증가함에 따라, 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 다양한 센서를 이용하여 인간의 행동을 인식하기 위한 연구가 많은 각광을 받고 있다. 본고에서는 인간의 기본적인 행동 중에 앉기, 걷기, 달리기 등의 행동 특성을 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 3축 가속도 센서를 통하여 분석하고 인간의 기본적 행동을 자동으로 인식하기 위한 방법에 대하여 비교 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로는 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 3차원 가속도 센서로부터 추출된 데이터를 시간축에서 샘플링하여 인간의 행동을 인식하기 위한 기댓값 최대화 알고리즘, 랜덤 포레스트, 딥러닝 기반의 기계학습 방법을 비교하여 각 기계학습 알고리즘의 장단점을 분석한다.

Modeling Bacteria Facilitated Contaminant Transport in Porous Media with Equilibrium Adsorption Relationships (평형 모델을 이용한 다공매질에서의 유동 세균에 의한 유기성 오염물의 가속이송)

  • Colloids such as exogenous biocolloids in a bioremediation operation can enhance the transport of contaminant in ground water by reducing retardation effects. Because of their colloidal size and favorable surface conditions in addition to their low density, bacteria can act as efficient contaminant carriers. When mobile bacteria are present in a subsurface environment, the system can be treated as consisting of three phases: water phase, bacterial phase, and the stationary solid matrix phase. In this work, a mathematical model based on mass balances is developed to describe the facilitated transport and fate of a contaminant in a porous medium. Bacterial partition between the bulk solution and the stationary solid matrix, and the contaminant partition among the three phases are represented by the equilibrium relationships. Solutions were obtained to provide estimates of contaminant and bacterial concentrations. A dimensionless analysis of the transport model was utilized to estimate model parameters from the experimental data. The model results matched with experimental data of Jenkins and Lion (1993). The presence of mobile bacteria enhances the contaminant transport. However, bacterial consumption of the contaminant which serves as a bacterial nutrient, can attenuate the contaminant concentration.

  • 기후변화 및 해안 구조물의 증가 등 여러 원인이 연안침식 및 해안선 변화와 같은 연안의 지형변화를 가속하고 있다. 빠르게 변화하는 연안의 지형변화예측 및 대응책 강구를 위해서는 연안의 유사이송 현상에 대한 신속한 예측이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 GPU 엔진 기반 파랑해석모형인 Celeris Advent를 활용하여 실시간으로 연안의 유사이송 모의가 가능한 수치모형을 개발하였다. Celeris Advent는 GPU의 병렬코어를 활용해 실시간 연산과 GUI를 통한 사용자와의 실시간 상호작용이 가능한 모형이다. 지배방정식은 확장형 Boussinesq 방정식에 유사이송방정식을 양방향 결합하여 구성하였고, 지배방정식에는 하이브리드 유한체적-유한차분 수치기법을 적용하여 이송항은 유한체적법(Kurganov & Petrova, 2007), 소스항은 유한차분법을 통해 이산화하여 해석한다. 유사이송방정식은 수심적분형 이송확산방정식에 침식 및 퇴적 플럭스를 반영하는 소스항을 결합하여, 이송항 및 확산항을 통해 유사의 이송/확산을 고려함과 동시에 소스항을 통해 하상과의 상호작용을 고려하였다.

  • The dynamic response of an axially deploying beam is studied when the beam has geometric non-linearity and translating acceleration. Based upon the von Karman strain theory, the governing equations and the boundary conditions of a deploying beam are derived by using extended Hamilton's principle considering the longitudinal and transverse deflections. The equations of motion are discretized by using the Galerkin approximate method. From the discretized equations, the dynamic responses are computed by the Newmark time integration method.

  • This paper presents the acceleration optimization of a high-speed LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) transfer system for the minimization of vibration. To reduce vibration is one of key requirements for the dynamic control of a high-speed LCD transfer system. In this paper, the concept of finite jerk (the first derivative of acceleration) has been introduced for realizing input acceleration. The profile of finite jerk has been optimized using a genetic algorithm so that vibration effect can be minimized. In order to incorporate a genetic algorithm, the dynamic model of a LCD transfer system which is realized by using the ADAMS software has been linked to the simulation system constructed by the MATLAB. The simulation results illustrated that the duration of finite jerk can be optimized so as to minimize the magnitude of vibration. It has been also shown that the acceleration optimization with finite jerk can make the high-speed motion of a LCD transfer system result in low vibration, compared with the conventional motion control with trapezoidal velocity profile.

  • 본 연구에서는 절삭공구가 채터진동을 일으킬때 AE(Acoustic Emission) 신호와 어떤관계가 있는지를 실험적으로 연구하였다. 모달분석을 통하여 절삭공구의 고유진동수 및 모우드형상을 구하였으며, 실제 절삭실험에서는 이송방향 및 절삭방향의 가속도를 계측하여 위상치를 결정하었다. AE신호와 두 가속도 와의 관계를 알기위하여 AE 실험을 하였다. AE신호의 폭발점은 대개 Lissajous loop의 방향전환점에서 관찰 되었다.

  • A brushless linear motor is suitable for operation with higher speed and precision. Since it does not involve mechanical coupling, linear driving force can be applied directly. Conventional PID and fuzzy controllers are implemented and performance results using those controllers are compared. Along with better simulated performance observed using fuzzy controller, further fabrication is to be included with various empirical results. Several system operational characteristics have been observed. Typical nonlinearities as friction, cogging and torque or thrust ripple that might deteriorate system performance would be tackled using presumably effective method such as neural network based learning controller.

  • In the present work, performance analysis of fuel feed and transfer system for Smart UAV was conducted. For the fuel feed system, it was verified that minimum and maximum pressure requirements at the fuel inlet of engine were satisfied. For the fuel transfer system, design variables of jet pump were derived and performance was verified for the maximum acceleration flight condition by using ESDU design guide and flowmaster code.
