The Needs of Housing Contents in Highschool Home Economics among Students (고등학생의 '가정과학' 주생활 단원 내용 요구도)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out the needs of housing contents in highschool Home Economics among students. The 105 housing contents and topics were chosen from the 3 textbooks and related references. The number of 516 questionnaire from 8 areas were used to analyze. Analyses indicated that respondents were more likely to favor Home Economics subject and one out of five wanted to select it. Average needs of the housing contents was above middle(3.4) and these was a little difference among 3 middle units in housing. The most needed unit was housing design. There was a more wide difference in 19 small units than in middle ones, ranged $3.00\sim3.91$. Individual contents showed the most variousness in needs from 2.89 to 4.30 in the middle unit of housing and environments, 3.00 to 4.01 in housing design, and 2.68 to 3.91 in housing management. The needs of additional contents were about the same as those textbook contents and it indicated that new textbook needs to adopt the newly demanded housing contents. Some of individual, family, and environmental characteristics were significantly related to the students needs. The higher positive attitude such as favor, interest, and selecting of the subject was related to the higher needs of housing contents. Residential areas and neighboring were also related to most of the needs of individual housing contents.

Korean University Students' Preferences for the Rental Apartments and Housing Location Factors - Comparative Analysis between Korean and US University Students - (국내 대학생들의 임대 아파트에 대한 인식과 주거입지 선호 특성에 관한 연구 - 미국 University of Washington 사례와의 비교분석 -)

  • This paper aims at, firstly, analyzing the preference of rental apartment owned by real estate companies, and the characteristics of housing location factors which Korean university students prefer, secondly, examining the effect of location factors to housing preferences. Especially, comparative analysis between this study and US students' precedent case study are used, in order to derive the implications about the housing policy. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, according to the questionnaire survey results, a great part of Korea and US university students prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as next housing after graduation. And a meaningful part of them prefer rental apartments owned by real estate companies as permanent housings. Secondly, according to factor analysis, five new factors such as (1) housing condition, (2) facilities and management, (3) neighborhood, (4) reputation and policy, (5) accessibility are extracted. Finally, according to logistic regression analysis, "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factors influence the preference of rental apartment. Therefore, provisions of "facilities and management" and "reputation and policy" factor are important to activate rental apartments owned by real estate companies for young generation.

Characteristics of Immigration Path and Residential Location of Korean Immigrants in Los Angeles (미국 LA지역 한인 이주민의 정착경로 및 주거입지 특성)

  • This paper aims at elucidating the characteristics of immigration path and residential location, and analyzing the factors influencing housing ownership structure and preference of residential location factors of Korean immigrants in Los Angeles. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, immigration paths of Korean Immigrants are divided by spatial assimilation type and network of mainstream society oriented type. Secondly, according to the results of binomial logistic regression analysis, Korean town as a current residential location is selected by low-income class, aged migrants group, housing non-owner group and longer migration period group. Thirdly, migrants tend to retain detached housings in residential area of mainstream society while migration period go beyond 10 years and incomes exceed $60,000. Finally, according to ANOVA tests on the preferences of residential location factors. high-income and home owers groups more prefer location factors such as economics, natural environment, housing interior facilities, network of mainstream society.

Comparative Analysis on National Housing Survey of Six Countries: Policy Implications and Recommendation for Korean Housing Survey (해외 6개국의 주거실태조사 비교 분석 및 국내 시사점 : 미국, 영국, 프랑스, 네덜란드, 호주, 일본을 중심으로)

  • The aim of this study is to discuss ways to improve Korea's housing survey by comparatively analyzing the housing surveys being carried out in six other countries. The subject countries are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Australia, and Japan-the countries that conducts large-scale surveys for more than 20,000 households on a national level and where data collection is easily available. The comparative analysis items include survey history, purpose, subject, project owner, survey item, data collection method, and the use of survey outcome. The comparative analysis results showed that each of the six countries are conducting national housing condition surveys on a regular basis considering each nation's characteristics of housing stock and policy goals, and the survey results are being used as the basis for setting policy guidelines including the selection of policy targets and the determination of appropriate rent standards, and the basis for housing assistance budget planning. Korea's housing survey has been conducted three times up until now since 2006. There should be efforts to systemize and standardize the survey components, establish standards for monitoring the changing trend of national housing stock, standards for determining policy targets, and measures to open data and provide feedback considering the preceding studies of overseas countries in order to better utilize the housing survey data for policy development.

  • 화재보험에서 '특수건물'이란 일정 규모 이상의 특수한 조건을 구비한 건물로 화재로 인한 인명 및 재산의 손해에 대하여 적정한 보상이 가능하도록 보험가입을 의무화하는 건물을 지칭하나, 화재 특징과 조사를 논하는 본 고에서는 보험의 대상물로서의 분류가 아닌 기 연재된 창고, 주거용 건물, 빌딩 등을 제외한 나머지 건물 형태의 것을 언급하려고 함을 미리 밝혀둔다. 여기에는 문화재, 사찰건물, 교회, 비닐하우스, 모델하우스 등의 화재 특징을 살펴보고자 한다.

The Interactive Window Interface reflecting external environment information (외부 환경 정보 반영 대화형 창문 인터페이스)

  • The highest percentage of single-person households is older than 60. Many of them live in dilapidated residential space because they are in difficult economic situations. The windows of them often don't exist or don't function properly as windows. As a result, they are suffering from social problems such as depression, solitude. This paper proposes an interactive window interface that reflects external environmental information for older people in their 60s or older of one household living in a dilapidated residential space. This content utilizes an inexpensive TV or PC monitor that doesn't require extra space and cost. Recognizing a user's hand through intuitive touch-sensing technology, which doesn't require much help from older people, this content provides weather videos and temperature information that reflect current external environment. Alert notification sound and SMS service are provided in preparation for more critical user emergencies. This content enables users to feel emotional stability and respond quickly to emergencies.

A Study on the Support and Restriction Factors of Children's Play Spaces in Housing Complex - Based on the Perception of Primary School Students - (주거단지 내 아동 놀이장소의 지원 및 제약 요인에 관한 연구 - 초등학생의 인식을 기반으로 -)

  • This study aims to draw the factors of support and restriction as children play in the outdoor space through their participation. The 135 students (fifth- and sixth- graders) participated in the research using the mapping method included the daily diagram and the open-ended questionnaire. As the research results, the park, the school yard, the playground and the rest space were emerged as play spaces with high utilization rate. Through the analysis of play spaces based on children's perception, the physical and social-psychological factors are drawn as the factors of support and restriction. Some physical factors such as the location are relevant to social-psychological factors such as the friend and the danger. In conclusion, the physical factors which support or restrict children's activities have to be considered with the socialpsychological factors. And the result from children's experience and perception should be basis of providing appropriate spaces for children who are actual users of play spaces.

  • Under the guise of a residential environment improvement, distendedly designated Pre-Housing Renewal districts and Renewal Districts by Basic Plan for Renewal Projects are not promoted and leaved for a long-term so that residential problems have become worse. In case of the canceled Housing Renewal district, at the time when the district are canceled, the residential environment has become already superannuated for more than 10 years but there is no follow-up plan to manage that problem so that the exact management plan for those neglected districts is urgently needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the aspect of change of residential environment after the cancellation and indicate appearing problems by conducting on the case of Canceled districts of Daegu Housing Renewal District. This study will be the first step to seek practical management measures for canceled districts, and on the basis of this, the research will become a precedent to seek the sustainable planning measures for the designation and management of Renewal Projects from now on.

경산시 지하수의 오염특성

  • 경산시 지역의 지하수를 분석한 결과 pH는 5.2~8.3, COD는 0~l.6 mg/$\ell$, ${NH_4}^{+}$-N은 0~6.30 mg/$\ell$의 범위로 나타났다. 특히 ${NH_4}^{+}$/-N은 전체 채수 지역 중에서 86 % 정도가 기준치를 초과하는 것으로 나타나 상당 지역이 분뇨, 하수, 폐수, 비료 등으로 오염되어 있었다. 또한 가정하수, 분뇨오수 등의 인위적 오염원과 관계가 있는 Cl도 상당히 검출되었다. 지하수의 깊이에 따른 각 성분을 분석한 결과 DO는 150m이하에서 7.9 mg/${\ell}$, 150m이상에서 8.1 mg/${\ell}$로서 역시 깊이별로 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. COD, ${NH_4}^{+}$/-N, ${NO_3}^{-}$/-N, ${NO_2}^{-}$/-N, T-N도 지표면에 가까운 150m이하 지하수에서 비교적 높게 나타났다. 토지 이용별 지하수질의 특성을 비교해 본 결과 DO는 공업지역에서 비교적 낮게 나타났으며, COD는 공업지역에서 평균 농도가 0.6 mg/${\ell}$로서 주거 및 상업지역 0.3 mg/${\ell}$, 농촌지역 0.5 mg/${\ell}$보다 비교적 높았다. 질소성분인 ${NH_4}^{+}$/-N, ${NO_2}^{-}$/-N, T-N 등은 주거 및 상업지역에서 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 총질소의 경우 주거 및 상업지역의 평균이 7.35 mg/${\ell}$로써 공업지역 4.05 mg/${\ell}$, 농촌지역 5.31 mg/${\ell}$보다 매우 높게 나타났다.

  • 주거환경을 침해하는 소음의 주된 요인은 가전제품으로서, 대부분의 가전제 품은 전기모터에 의해 구동된다. 가전제품을 작동시키는 전기모터는 가전제 품에 기진력을 주는 한편 공기중으로 소음을 방사함으로서 조용한 주거환경 을 해치게 된다. 따라서 조용하고 쾌적한 주거환경 확보를 위해서는 가전제 품용 구동모터의 소음을 효과적으로 차단 또는 감소해야 한다. 모터의 소음 원은 그 모터의 종류와 형태에 따라 약간씩은 다를 수 있으나 일반적으로 크게 기계적 소음, 공기 역학적 소음, 전자기 소음, 열/전기 화학적 소음 등 으로 분류된다. 이들 중 모터의 소음에 큰 영향을 주는 것은 기계적 소음, 공기 역학적 소음, 전자기 소음이며 열/전기 화학적 소음은 매우 작은 편이 다. 또한 공기 역학적 소음은 모터에 팬이 부착될 경우에만 큰 문제가 될 뿐 이며, 팬이 부착되지 않을 경우에는 기계적 소음과 전자기 소음이 주된 소음 원이 된다. 기계적 소음과 전자기 소음은 어느 것이 주된 소음원인지는 일반 적으로 잘 알 수 없기 때문에, 개별적인 연구와 실험을 통하여 파악해야 한 다. 기계적 소음은 주로 회전자의 불균형 회전에 의한 진동 및 그로 인한 외 부 프레임의 진동으로 대별되며, 전자기 소음은 주로 공급(Air-Gap)에서의 투과파(permeance wave)와 기자력(magneto-motive force)에 의한 반지름 방향의 힘에 의해 주로 발생된다. 본 연구에서는 기계적 소음과 전자기 소음 중 모터 소음에 영향이 큰 소음원을 판별해 내고 모델 실험을 통하여 감소 방안을 검토하였다.
