A Survey on Moving Target Indication Techniques for Small UAVs : Parametric Approach (소형 무인항공기용 이동표적 표시기법에 대한기술 동향 분석 : 매개변수방식)

  • In this paper, we survey the Moving Target Indication(MTI) techniques for small UAVs. MTI consists of image alignment phase and frame differencing correction phase, and image alignment has two ways of parametric approach which is mainly focused in this paper and non-parametric approach. Since small UAVs are operated in the low altitude, the parallax is considerable and the epipolar geometry is applied to compensate the parallax. The related works and future works are presented.

A Code Authentication System of Counterfeit Printed Image Using Multiple Comparison Measures (다중 비교척도에 의한 영상 인쇄물 위조 감식 시스템)

  • Currently, a large amount of printed matter associated with code authentication method are diffused widely, however, they have been reproduced with great precision and distributed successively in illegal ways. In this paper, we propose an efficient code authentication method which classifies authentic or counterfeit with smart-phone, effectively. The proposed method stores original image code in the server side and then extracts multiple comparison measures describing the original image. Based on these multiple measures, a code authentication algorithm is designed in such a way that counterfeit printed images may be effectively classified and then the recognition rate may be highly improved. Through real experiments, it is shown that the proposed method can improve the recognition rate greatly and lower the mis-recognition rate, compared with single measure method.

The Propagation and Construction of China's National Image in $21^{st}$ Century (21세기 중국 국가이미지의 형성과 전파)

  • As China's international status is more and more uplifted, the active shaping and effective propagation of China's national image has been regarded as an important means to demonstrate China's soft power, demolish the so-called "China Threat Theory", and compete for China's share in international discourse power. This article first makes a discussion on the fundamental concepts and related theories of national image, and then explores the precise positioning of China's image as "a responsible power" and the connotation that should be contained in this image. Finally, this article presents a tactic of "complex propagation" for the shaping of China's national image, which includes the propagation by new media and advertisement, the marketing of international sport games and other international events, public diplomacy and public relations tactics.

  • 공공시설에 대한 안전점검은 공공시설의 노후화에 따라 정기적인 검사의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 기존의 안전점검 방식은 대부분 육안으로 점검하는 것에 의존하는데 이는 점검자의 숙련도에 따라 결과의 품질이 달라지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 XAI 기반의 공공시설물 건전도 안전검사 평가시스템을 제안하며, 이는 점검자의 숙련도와 무관하게 항상 같은 결과를 도출해 내며 XAI 를 통해 사용자에게 안전점검에 대한 결과를 제시해준다. 공공시설물 중 터널 시설물의 안전검사 평가시스템을 기반으로 하는 연구를 진행하였으며 이는 수정없이 교량 시설물 등 다른 공공시설물에 적용이 가능하다. 본 논문은 5 가지로 구분된다. 1) 터널 이미지와 균열에 마스크를 적용한 이미지 두 가지의 데이터 셋을 448x448 로 생성한다. 2) UNet 과 Resnet152 의 두 모델을 적용한 혼합 모델을 이용하여 생성한 데이터 셋을 훈련시킨다. 3) 훈련된 혼합 모델에서 생성된 분할 이미지에 대해 노이즈 제거 과정을 진행한다. 4) 노이즈 제거가 끝난 이미지에 스켈레톤화(Skeletonization)를 적용시켜 균열 이미지의 뼈대를 구한다. 뼈대 이미지 기반으로 균열의 길이, 두께, 위치등의 정보를 얻는다. 5) XAI 부분에서는 뼈대 이미지의 정보를 토대로 균열의 위치, 두께, 길이 등에 대해 계산을 진행한 후 사용자에게 제시해준다.

Product Image Concentration System as a Design Strategy to Build Corporate Brand Image (기업 브랜드 이미지 구축을 위한 디자인 전략으로서의 제품 이미지 집중 체계)

  • This study is on the strategy for establishing successful corporate brand image, by understanding the need for increasing brand value based on the level of brand recognition. In order to carry this out, the PICS (Product Image Concentration System) is suggested, which includes Brand Image Analysis on a high-level, Product Image Programming based on the result of the image analysis, and Product Image Coherency Assessment and Management, resulting in setting up a guideline for gaining competitive advantage and brand management. Brand Image Analysis is a method that utilizes image association to understand brand disposition by analyzing the association pattern among available visual materials to measure the corporate and brand image inclinations. As the next step, Product Image Programming establishes design philosophy and principles based on the analysis of brand image, and the Visual Programming is a process for visualizing the intended product image direction. Lastly, Product Image Coherency Assessment examines whether to incorporate design philosophy and principles or not to arrive at an agreed evaluation criteria for developing designs coherent with the brand image. The PICS (Product Image Concentration System) is a practical method for increasing a company' competitive advantage and managing brand. The expectation on this system is to provide a guideline for applying brand image in design process more objectively. For further study, diversification of image spectrum based on expressive keywords and comparative analysis on images as well as a product image interpretation program to understand the order of visual materials will be necessary.

A Study on Copyright Protection Method of Web Image Contents (웹 이미지 콘텐츠 저작권보호 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Technical treatments of image contents on the web include the copy protection method such as the image capture protection technology and the traitor tracing method to detect unauthorized duplications through watermarking insertion or feature information technology. However, these two methods have their own weaknesses. The image capture protection method is unable to protect illegal captures when the URLs of image sources are exposed. The traitor tracing method is fundamentally unable to protect illegal captures due to its post-treatment method. Besides, the weakness of using the copyright information display technology involves easy removal of copyright information from copyrighted contents. This paper suggests a model of the web image contents protection system which makes it hard to separate copyright information from web image contents and allows image contents to be shown only in the authorized websites.

  • The integral imaging system is an auto-stereoscopic display that allows users to see 3D images without wearing special glasses. In the integral imaging system, the 3D object information is taken from several view points and stored as elemental images. Then, users can see a 3D reconstructed image by the elemental images displayed through a lens array. The elemental images can be created by computer graphics, which is referred to the computer-generated integral imaging. The process of creating the elemental images is called image mapping. There are some image mapping methods proposed in the past, such as PRR(Point Retracing Rendering), MVR(Multi-Viewpoint Rendering) and PGR(Parallel Group Rendering). However, they have problems with heavy rendering computations or performance barrier as the number of elemental lenses in the lens array increases. Thus, it is difficult to use them in real-time graphics applications, such as virtual reality or real-time, interactive games. In this paper, we propose a new image mapping method named VVR(Viewpoint Vector Rendering) that improves real-time rendering performance. This paper describes the concept of VVR first and the performance comparison of image mapping process with previous methods. Then, it discusses possible directions for the future improvements.

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라 렌즈에서 흔히 발견할 수 있는 렌즈계 왜곡에 의한 영상 품질 저하 현상을 소개하고 이를 보정하는 방법을 제시한다. 렌즈계 왜곡은 크게 두 가지로 나눌 수 있는데 기하학적 왜곡과 광도 왜곡이 그것이다. 이상적인 렌즈계가 아닌 경우 이러한 왜곡 현상은 필연적으로 발생을 하게 되는데 왜곡 보정을 위해서 기존의 카메라 캘리브레이션과는 다른 방식의 접근이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 기하학적 왜곡 보정을 위한 이미지 워핑 방법을 제시하며 아울러 광도 왜곡 보정을 위한 보정 방법을 다루고자 한다.

Image Features Based Secure Access Control for Data Content Protection (데이터 내용 보호를 위한 이미지 특징 기반의 보안 접근 제어)

  • Data security is always an important issue. In particular, the current emerging cloud computing system inevitably raises the issue of data security. However, data security is no longer safe with a simple way, but requires rather advanced method to secure the data. In this paper, instead of exploiting the existing text-based cryptography approach an image-based access control of data content is studied to present a higher level of data security. Color key chain is generated both using histogram value of the original image, and the location information and featured color information extracted by geometric transformation to form the security key to access secure data content. Finally, the paper addresses design interface and implementation for data content access control for evaluation of the proposed scheme.

  • Existing art, media art, accompanied by a new path of awareness and perception instrumentalized by the human body, creating a new way to watch the interaction is proposed. Western art way to create visual images of the point cloud that represented a form that is similar to the Pointage. This traditional painting techniques using digital technology means reconfiguration. In this paper, a new appreciation of fusion of aesthetic elements and digital technology, making the point cloud in the form of video. And this holographic film projection of the spectator, and gestures to interact with the video content is presented. A Process of making contents is intent planning, content creation, content production point cloud in the form of image, 3D gestures for interaction design process, go through the process of holographic film projection. Visual and experiential content of memory recall process takes place in the consciousness of the people expressed. Complete the process of memory recall, uncertain memories, memories materialized, recalled. Uncertain remember the vague shapes of the point cloud in the form of an image represented by the image. As embodied memories through the act of interaction to manipulate images recall is complete.
