The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of color image for establishing the color environment contributing to the promotion of public health in the public health facilities and to utilize it as data of public health color plan and index development. For this purpose, the results of the previous precedent studies were integrated and public health facilities were classified into medical facilities (general hospitals), health facilities (public health centers), and sub - healing facilities (elderly care facilities). We visited 18 public health facilities in total, measured the environmental color of with a spectroscopic, compared the results and the precedent studies results, and identified color image characteristics and future supplement points. The results are as follows. First, the previous studies related to the environment color image vocabulary of the public health facilities, it prefer comfortable, bright and positive image. Second, as a result of direct measurement the environmental color of the public health facilities, it is found that most of them use the high brightness and low saturation color of Y series. Third, as a result of analyzing vocabulary of environmental color image of public health facilities, 'natural' image showed the highest frequency, and other images such as 'gentle' and 'decent' appeared. It was difficult to understand the characteristics of the color image vocabularies of public health facilities. This study is a convergence study of color science and environmental design, and it extends the scope of multidisciplinary research related to design and it will be helpful in environmental planning on user's emotion.

The purpose of the study is to identify what terms are used, how they are categorized, and what they are related each others to search image files. Data collection was conducted through 5 photographies using 22 participants. The study shows that used terms were affected by image contents and size, and pre-iconography, iconology, time, geographical location, and relationship were important for image attributes.

의미 기반 영상 검색은 Color, Texture, Region 정보, Spatial Color Distribution 등의 저차원 특징 정보와 이미지 데이터에 의미를 부여하기 위해 주석 처리하는 것이 일반적이다. 그리고 부여된 키워드나 시소러스와 같은 어휘 사전을 이용하여 의미기반 정보검색을 수행하고 있지만, 기존의 키워드기반 텍스트 정보검색의 한계를 벗어나지 못하는 문제를 야기 시킨다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 WordNet 어휘 사전을 확장한 개념적 어휘 체계를 갖는 대형 Ontology를 기반으로 하여 이미지 데이터 내의 객체 인식과 추출된 객체간의 관계를 정의하여 이를 논리적으로 표현할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to find the unique image characteristics of Korea and identify the Korea culture by comparing the image characteristics of traditional palaces of Korea, China and Japan. This study identifies the unique image characteristics of Korea through a comparative analysis the image of three nations. Literature research, free association measurement, survey were conducted to select study objects and descriptive words. 5 outside-pictures and 2 inside-pictures of the Changduckung, the Forbidden City, the Nijo castle representing each country's traditional palaces were chosen as study objects. A questionnaire was made with 47 descriptive words and 5-scale measurement. The results of analysis are as follows. The representative words to express the image characteristics of Korea, China and Japan traditional palaces are adornment, stability, openness, lines, unfamiliarity, feminine. This study researched the common and different factors between the image characteristics in traditional palaces of Korea, China and Japan. The common image is the image of lines. The distinctive characteristics of Korea are stability, curved lines and femininity. The characteristics of China are adornment and straight lines. And, the characteristics of Japan are simplicity, unfamiliarity, and openness. Based on the research, it was found out that stability and curved lines are the main characteristics of Korea. This study researches the characteristics of images of Korea, China and Japan. This study shows the common and different factors of image characteristics of in the neighboring three nations of East Asia. Due to the geographical and cultural effect over a long time, the Korea was evaluated as the middle cultural between China and Japan. However, this study found unique characteristics of Korea's image.

디지털 카메라 및 카메라가 부착된 스마트폰의 보급으로 인해 개인 및 사업장에서 관리해야할 사진의 양이 증가 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 어휘 트리를 이용하여 다량의 사진에 주석을 자동으로 추천 하는 알고리즘을 제안하여 대량의 사진 관리를 효과적으로 하도록 한다. 제안한 방법에서는 어휘트리 생성 시 학습 데이터 모음에 포함된 사진들의 주석에 대한 정보도 함께 갖도록 한다. 그래서 입력으로 들어온 사진과 가장 가까운 사진을 어휘 트리를 통해 찾고 찾은 사진이 가지고 있는 주석을 최종 출력으로 낸다. 제안한 알고리즘은 자동으로 다량의 사진의 주석을 빠르게 추천 할 수 있다.

이미지 데이터를 의미적으로 검색하기 위한 가장 중요한 요소는 이미지의 정보를 표현하고 있는 주석이라고 할 수 있다. 이미지의 주석은 관리자가 사용자 입장에서 검색이 가능한 이미지를 표현할 수 있는 키워드를 선별하여 데이터화한 것이다. 그러다보니 이미지내 의미를 모두 표현하기위해 주석에 수는 증가되고, 증가된 주석은 각각에 이미지에서 차지하고 있는 의미량을 고려하지않고 동일한 크기를 가지게 된다. 이러한 경우 실제적으로 검색하였을 때 의미량에 상관없이 질의어와 주석이 일치한 모든 이미지를 검색하므로 사용자가 검색 결과에서 의미량이 큰 이미지를 다시 재검색하거나 주석입력자와 사용자와 어휘 표현에 차이 때문에 검색에 재검색해야한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 의미량을 이용하여 효율적인 이미지 검색을 하기 위해 각 키워드 간에 의미적인 관계를 어휘 온톨로지인 WordNet을 이용하여 유사도 측정을 하고, 측정한 데이터를 이용하여 전체 이미지 의미량에서 해당 키워드가 갖는 의미량을 측정한다. 의미량은 이미지 검색시 질의어가 이미지에서 차지하고 있는 비율을 비교하여 가장 높은 의미량을 갖는 이미지를 우선 검색하고 의미량이 가장 큰 키워드를 대표키워드로 추출하여 WordNet상에서 동일한 의미를 갖는 계층에 단어들로 주석을 확장한다.

기존의 컬러 기반 감성시소러스 구축에서는 감성 어휘 관계 생성을 위해 IRI에서 개발한 단색이미지 스케일을 사용하여 컬러를 표현하였다. 그리고 컬러에 따라 연상되는 형용사를 단색 이미지 스케일에 배치하여 형용사 이미지 스케일의 공간관계를 생성하였다 즉, 컬러를 보고 연상되는 이미지를 형용사로 표현하고 색의 고유한 관계를 공간상에 배치하여 컬러 값에 따른 형용사를 매핑하였다. 이는 단순히 컬러의 관계만을 이용한 설정으로 의미적 감성어 표현에는 한계가 있었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 HP사의 'The Meaning of Color'표를 이용하여 컬러에 따른 감성 이미지를 정의하고, 정의된 어휘간의 의미적 표현을 위해 유의어, 동의어 관계 등을 포함한 WordNet 구조를 기반으로 새로운 감성어 관계 생성 방안을 제안한다. 방안을 제안한다.

This paper proposes a Image retrieval system that searches the closest images to the user's emotional need and displays images with higher ratings of color harmony from Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory first. Once an emotional adjective is placed, the system searches for images with colors that contain more elements derived from Aesthetic Measure results and displays in such order. In order to test reliability of the proposed emotion retrieval method based on Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory, this study compared the order of Aesthetic Measure results with the user satisfaction ratings using 200 sample images. The analysis demonstrated that the participants' average satisfaction on 15 emotion adjectives selected for the study was 5.0 on a 7-point Likert scale. Correlation analyses were performed to test the consistency the orders between Aesthetic Measure values and user satisfaction ratings. Positive correlations above R=.5 were observed in all 14 emotion words except "Clear". These findings prove the potential of the proposed emotion retrieval system based on Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory to effectively reflect user emotion in such visual stimulus search as image database.

The affective words on photographic images were analyzed and a model was structured. Based on this model, the effects of color on the affections were studied. In study 1, the photographic images with various materials and techniques were presented and the affective responses are collected. The factor analysis using principal axing method showed that the variance of the affective words could be explained about 42％ by the three factors. These are named positive-negative, dynamic-static, light-heavy, respectively. In study 2, the effects of color on the affections were evaluated on three basic dimensions. Ninety representative color images were converged black-and-white images, and each of 180 images was rated on the three affective scales. The t-test showed that the effects of color are statistically significant on the three affective scales, respectively. The achromatic images were felt more negative, more static, and heavier than chromatic images.

본 연구는 감성공학적 접근법으로 터치 모바일 폰의 자유 드로잉 GUI 요소를 디자인 하기 위한 프로세스를 검증하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구의 프로세스는 다음과 같이 진행되었다. 첫째, 터치폰에서 자유드로잉하는 행태를 파악하기 위하여 남 녀 대학생 57 명을 대상으로 터치폰 일기를 쓰게 하여 분석하였다. 또한 관찰 대상자가 선호하는 패션, 좋아하는 이미지를 수집하여, IRI 표준 이미지 스케일 맵에 매핑하여 감성 요소를 추출하였다. 둘째, 추출된 감성 요소는 Norman(2002)에 의거한 감각적(Visceral), 행태적(Behavioral), 심볼적(Reflective) 감성 어휘로 도출하고, 요인 분석을 통해 대표 감성 어휘를 도출하였다. 셋째, 자유 드로잉을 위한 터치 모바일폰 GUI 요소를 도출한 후 대표 감성 어휘와의 관계성을 분석하여 관계성이 높은 디자인 요소를 추출하였다. 마지막으로 추출된 대표 디자인 요소와 대표 감성 어휘는 다차원척도(Multidimensional scaling : MDS) 분석을 실시하여 2 차원 축에 모델링하고, 정량적으로 디자인에 반영될 주요 감성을 도출해본 결과 사용자의 감성적 경험을 통해 도출된 GUI 와 유사성이 높은 감성 어휘는 감성적 디자인을 할 때 주 요소로 적용 된다는 사실을 확인하였다.
