A Convergence Study of Cultural Competence Dimensions of Nurses and Nursing Students (간호사와 간호대학생의 문화적 역량 구성요소에 관한 융합적 연구)

  • This study has been conducted to identify the theoretical understanding of cultural competence by systematically reviewing national and international quantitative studies on 'nurses' and 'nursing students' cultural competence dimensions. A literature search was conducted over approximately three months from June to August 2020, targeting academic journals and dissertations published from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2019. Literature extraction was conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines, and 67 papers from a total of 1,175 were selected for the systematic literature review. As a result, the most commonly measured component was cultural perception, other dimensions included cultural knowledge, cultural skills, cultural sensitivity, cultural encounter, cultural attitude, cultural behavior, cultural longings and cultural receptivity, cultural experience, cultural security, cultural ethics, cultural beliefs, cultural practice, motivation and curiosity, cultural emotions and empathy. Therefore, in order to improve the cultural competency of nurses and nursing students, it is necessary to seek consensus and a multifaceted approach that is essential in each society based on various components.

  • There have been a great many ups and downs in Korean Credit Card Industries after 2000. It is certain that each Credit Card Company copes with the situations by means of its organizational capabilities. According to the evolutionary view of Institutionalism, a company's capabilities are composed of every day routines, codes, rules, learning(by doing, using, interacting) and decision makings. The purpose of this article is to verify how two Korean Credit Card Companies showed their strategic differences and what factors exposed each company's own limits. To examine the company's ordinary conducts, this study used Q methodology with a random sample of 16 members from each company. Especially from the results of Q factor analysis, it becomes clear that each company still takes a serious view of the economy of scale rather than the innovation or improvement of organizational and relational dynamics.

  • '양손잡이 조직(Organizational Ambidexterity)'은 새로운 기회를 찾고 위험을 감수하며, 신제품이나 신사업을 개발해 가는 탐색(Exploration) 역량과, 최소한의 리스크와 보유한 자원을 토대로 기존 제품이나 서비스를 중심으로 효율성을 높이는 활용(Exploitation)적 혁신을 동시에 추구하는 조직의 능력으로 경영자들이 비즈니스 환경의 난기류와 다차원성에 대처하도록 권고하는 개념들 중 하나이다. 본 연구는 스타트업의 양손잡이 역량 균형이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 기반으로 양손잡이 역량이 실제 스타트업에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 지를 조사하는데 목적으로 하고 있다. 따라서 탐색(Exploration)과 활용(Exploitation)의 적절한 균형(Balance)을 중심으로 기업성과에 미치는 영향과 더불어 환경적 동태성(Environmental Dynamics)의 조절효과에 대하여 알아보고 분석하였다. 실제로 선행 연구를 통해 탐색(Exploration)과 활용(Exploitation)에 모두 관여하는 양손잡이 기업들이 하나에 집중하는 기업보다 우수한 성과를 달성할 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 탐색(Exploration)과 활용(Exploitation)의 적절한 균형(Balance)을 유지하는 것이 생존과 번영을 위해 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 자원이 부족한 스타트업의 경우 부족한 자원을 효과적으로 활용하고 양방향으로 행동할 수 있는 능력은 경영 능력과 역량에 달려 있기 때문에 지속적인 생존을 위해 탐색과 활용의 균형을 맞추고 효과적인 조직을 구축해 양손잡이 조직으로 거듭나야만 한다. 양손잡이 조직에 대한 연구 이론은 보통 여유 자원이 높은 대기업을 기준으로 정의되고 있으며, 상대적으로 여유 자원의 수준이 낮은 중소기업이나 스타트업을 위한 양손잡이 조직의 의미와 이러한 기업들이 추구할 수 있는 현실적인 실행방안에 대해서는 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 실제 스타트업 기업의 성장을 위한 전략적 방향 설정을 제시할 수 있으며, 급격하게 변화하는 시장에서 스타트업의 양손잡이 역량과 기업성과 영향 관계를 분석하여 학술적인 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Study on Awareness of Cultural Welfare Worker on Empowerment (문화복지 실천가의 역량강화 인식에 대한 연구)

  • This study profoundly analyzed cultural welfare workers to find out how they command a strategy of empowerment according to types of action. The analysis result shows that cultural welfare workers perceive cultural welfare as an unstable human service job. Activity types of cultural welfare workers can largely be categorized into professional workers and vocational workers, and they are two extremes and continuum at the same time. On this account, a strategy of empowerment depends on types of action conducted by cultural welfare workers. There are accelerative elements that boost empowerment strategies positively and there are impediment elements that work adversely. These cultural welfare workers are making suggestion to prepare an official requirement for them to be acknowledged as a specialized worker and to increase various types of educational spectrum to meet their level. This study has significance for providing basic data for education, supervision, and policy for training human resources in future.

  • As part of development research of a gender-neutral mathematics program, this paper provides a discussion of the fearures of the developed mathematics program. Based on the theory of feminist pedagogy and critical theories about women' ways of knowing, this mathematics program for girls pursues the mathematical empowerment of girls. Specifically, this mathematics program facilitates girls' awareness of their mathematical potentials, encourage them to position women at a center of mathematics in order for th equity in mathematics education. For the purpose, this program emphasizes constructive learning through girls' active participation. Thus, the instructions will value girls' own cognitive resources such as their experiential knowledge and ways of mathematical justification and provide an environment to support the growth of girls' own mathematical potential. This developmental research will be furthered to the systematic program evaluation to extend this program to support the equity for the marginalized poppulations as well as girls in mathematics education.

Theoretical Study on Industrial Design Data (디자인 산업데이터에 관한 이론적 고찰)

  • This study is a study on theoretical considerations on industrial design data in the era of data economy. This study aims to illuminate the value of industrial design data, interpret the meaning of the transition from design management to the design data era, and highlight the importance of literacy to interpret data for designers. The scope of research approaches the R&D capability dimension of a company to explore the industrial value of design. It limits the scope of research from an industrial point of view rather than the humanistic basis and aesthetic value of design. As a result of the study, it was found that the value of industrial design data is not in ex post evaluation, but in customer-oriented market prediction, and that the design industry data-led strategy is important. The key point is that the industrial design data issues of large companies and SMEs are different, the direction of industrial design data should be to support customer-centered decision making in the product/service development of companies, and the core competency is the amount of data or tools and technologies to handle it. No, it should be in data literals. Lastly, if the use of industrial design data is to be strengthened, management of the public level rather than the personal level of data management should be preceded.

Analysis and Utilization Plan of International Archivists' Competency Frameworks (해외 기록전문직 역량 체계 분석 및 활용 방안)

  • Professional competencies serve to demonstrate and develop expertise. As such, the study summarized theories on the concept of competency and competency model development and utilization, proposing ways to utilize the competency system to strengthen domestic archivists' expertise through a case study of international archivist competency systems. Five competency frameworks for archivists developed by international archivist associations were analyzed. Results showed that the archival profession's competency frameworks were primarily utilized in two ways. First, they are used to verify professional definitions, which are used as verification standards for registering certified professionals at the archivist association level. Second, they are used to enhance expertise in conjunction with individual professional self-assessment and continuing professional development program design. These two applications can operate in a complementary relationship to utilize the competency framework in demonstrating and strengthening competencies.

글로벌생산체계에서 중국 동관(東莞)지역의 역할과 IT·전자산업클러스터의 발전

  • 중국 경제성장에 핵심적 역할을 해왔던 광동성(廣東省) 동관시(東?市)는 지리적으로 근접해 있는 홍콩을 이용하여 줄곧 경제발전을 추구해 왔다. 1980년대 초반은 홍콩으로부터 가전산업 관련 중소 다국적 기업이 동관지역에 진출하여 생산 공장을 세우고, 그 후 1990년 중반에는 대만의 PC제조업체의 진출이 잇따르면서 현재 동관에는 정보통신산업과 PC부품 및 전자산업 중심으로 지역 산업클러스터가 발전해 왔다. 동관시 산업클러스터 사례는 개혁개방이후 중국 제조업 산업의 발전뿐만 아니라, 글로벌 시대에 해외직접투자와 아시아지역 후-후발산업국가에서의 지역경제의 성장 및 산업발전과정의 연구에 대한 이론적 시사점을 줄 수 있는 지역적 사례 중의 하나다. 본 연구는 광동성 동관시 지역산업클러스터의 사례를 중심으로 이론적으로는 지역산업발전의 내생적 성장요인 분석(NMID) 혹은 글로벌 생산네트워크와의 외부적 연계성을 기초로 하는 산업의 지역적 분화(GPN)에 대한 이 두 관점을 상호 비교하고, 글로벌 생산체계에서 공간적으로 현재 동관시 지역이 가지고 있는 산업클러스터의 위치와 역할을 설명하였다. 또한 산업적인 측면에서 생산네트워크 접근틀과 제도적 역량이라는 이론적 관점을 활용하여 중국 동관시 지역산업과 기업들이 보유하고 있는 상대적 경쟁력을 분석하였다.

The Effect of University Entrepreneurial Education Service Quality on Education Satisfaction, Entrepreneurial Capability, and Entrepreneurial Intention (대학의 창업교육 서비스 품질이 교육만족과 창업역량, 창업의지에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explored how university entrepreneurial education service quality affects education satisfaction, entrepreneurial capability, and entrepreneurial intention. Although the various university entrepreneurial educations have been provided, current state of education support for entrepreneurial achievement is quite insufficient. In order to analyze factors for the entrepreneurial achievement enhancement, this study examines how university entrepreneurial education service quality affects education satisfaction, entrepreneurial capability, and entrepreneurial intention, as follows. First, in order to measure the entrepreneurial education service quality on the basis of theoretical background of the service quality, we set twenty one (21) questions for five (5) factors as follows: materiality, reliability, reactivity, certainty, consensuality. And then, impact of the entrepreneurial education service quality on education satisfaction and entrepreneurial capability was evaluated based on the survey results. Second, on the basis of previous studies of customer satisfaction, we gave the definition of education satisfaction for students in entrepreneurial education, and analyzed the causation that affects some elements of entrepreneurial capability (i.e. fulfillment capability, capacity of creativity, conceptualization capability, and social competence) by the aforementioned definition. Third, we analyzed the causation that affects entrepreneurial intention by education satisfaction and entrepreneurial capability. As a result, unlike the previous studies, there are only four (4) factors were confirmed for the entrepreneurial education service quality because the materiality and the reliability were founded as single element under the analysis. And it was identified that the entrepreneurial education service quality which is comprised of four (4) factors affects the education satisfaction and the entrepreneurial capability. In addition, as a result of the analysis under defining four (4) factors of entrepreneurial capability, the fulfillment capability and the capacity of creativity were founded as single element, and it was confirmed there is only three (3) factors, including the conceptualization capability and the social competence. With this result, it was confirmed that the entrepreneurial education service quality is influenced by the education satisfaction. Therefore, although the entrepreneurial intention is influenced by the entrepreneurial capability, it is not directly affected by the education satisfaction. These results showed that the education satisfaction affects indirectly to the entrepreneurial intention through the entrepreneurial capability that affected by the education satisfaction.

  • This study analyzes the competency model of the Learning Factory at TU Darmstadt, Germany, aiming to derive implications for developing competency-based curricula in South Korean universities. It proposes an integrated model that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, allowing for the transformation of existing knowledge into necessary competencies for task execution. Additionally, it advocates for a learner-centered approach that enhances active engagement in the learning process, empowering students to take charge of their education. By implementing this integrated and learner-centered model, students can develop the transformative competencies required for future societal demands. This approach is expected to act as a catalyst for advancing competency-based education within South Korea's higher education system, ultimately fostering a more effective and responsive educational environment.
