A Study on Work and Environmental Variables Explaining Newcomers' Turnover Intentions (신입사원의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 작업환경 변수에 관한 연구)

  • This study was intended to examine various work and environmental variables explaining newcomers' turnover intentions. Data were collected from 901 newcomers using online survey. Results of multiple regression analyses showed that individual-job fit, reward dissatisfaction, fringe benefit dissatisfaction, vision in organization, participation in decision making, realistic job preview, leader dissatisfaction, co-worker relationship and work environment explained significant variances of turnover intentions. Data were classified into full-time and part time employees based on employment type and into a large and a small-medium company based on company size. There were small differences in significant variables explaining turnover intentions based on company size as well as employment type. Finally implications and future research were discussed.

변수화 모델을 통한 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$ 화합물의 유전함수 분석

  • 적외선 영역에서의 밴드갭 에너지를 가지고 있는 III-V 족 화합물 반도체 물질인 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$는 좋은 성장 안정성과 높은 전자, 홀 이동도를 가지며, 제작 비용이 적게 드는 등 적외선 광소자 제작에 많은 이점을 가지고 있기 때문에 그에 관한 연구가 최근 활발히 진행 되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$를 소자 제작에 이용하기 위해서는 임의의 As 함량에 따른 InAsSb의 물질의 광학적 특성 정보가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 1.5~6.0 eV 에너지 구간에서 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$ ($0{\leq}x{\leq}1$) 화합물의 임의의 As 함량에 따른 유전함수를 분석하고 그 분석 변수들을 보고하고자 한다. 기성박막층착장치 (molecular beam epitaxy)를 이용하여 GaAs 기판 위에 성장 시킨 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$ (x = 0.000, 0.127, 0.337, 0.491, 0.726, 1.000) 박막의 순수한 유전함수 $\varepsilon$을 화학적 에칭을 통해 산화막 층을 제거하여 타원편광분석법을 이용하여 얻었다. 측정된 유전율 함수는 Gaussian-broadened polynomial 들의 합으로서 반도체 물질의 유전함수를 정확히 기술하는 변수화 모델을 이용하여 재현하였다. 변수화 모델을 통해 얻어진 각각의 변수들을 As 조성비 x 에 대한 다항식으로 피팅하여 임의의 As 조성비에 대한 변수 값을 얻었다. 그 결과 임의의 조성비에 따른 $InAs_xSb_{1-x}$ ($0{\leq}x{\leq}1$) 의 유전율 함수를 얻어낼 수 있었다. 우리는 이러한 결과가 물질의 실시간 성장 모니터링이나 다층구조 분석, 광소자의 제작 등에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 확신한다.

  • Generally, traffic accidents can be influenced by variables driving conditions including geometric, roadside design, and traffic conditions. Under the circumstance, homogeneous roadway segments were firstly identified using typical geometric variables obtained from field data collections in this study. These field data collections were conducted at highways located in several areas having various regional conditions for examples, outside metropolitan city; level and rolling rural areas. Due to many zero cells in crash database, a Zero Inflated Poisson model was used to develop crash prediction model to overestimated results in this study. It was found that EXPO, radius, grade, guardrail, mountainous terrain, crosswalk and bus-stop have statistically significant influence on vehicle to vehicle crashes at rural multi-lane roadway segments.

  • A multidimensional representation for precipitation, given In the theory proposed by E. Waymire et al. (1984), is used for simulating rainfall in space and time. The model produces moving storms with realistic meso-scale meteorological features in time and space. The first- and second-order statistics derived from observed JX)int gauge data were used to estimate the model parameters based on the Nelder-Mead algorithm of optimization. Then twelve-year traces of rainfall intensities at fixed gage stations were generated at intervals of 1 hours. First- and second-order statistics are evaluated from the above series, which are used for estimating the parameters of one dimensional model of temporal rainfall at a point. As a result from the comparisons of one dimensional model parameters used observed and generated data from multidimensional model, we found that the multidimensional rainfall model generated visually realistic spatial patterns of rainfall as well as realistic temporal hyetographs of rainfall at a point. point.

  • Two widely used approaches for improving the quality of the output of a process are statistical process control (SPC) and automatic process control (APC). In recent hybrid processes that combine aspects of the process and parts industries, process variations due to both the inherent wandering and special causes occur commonly, and thus simultaneous application of APC and SPC schemes is needed to effectively keep such processes close to target. The simultaneous implementation of APC and SPC schemes is called integrated process control (IPC). In the IPC procedure, the output variables are monitored during the process where adjustments are repeatedly done by its controller. For monitoring the APC-controlled process, control charts can be generally applied to the output variable. However, as an alternative, some authors suggested that monitoring the input variable may improve the chance of detection. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of several monitoring statistics, such as the output variable, the input variable, and the difference variable, for efficiently monitoring the APC-controlled process when we assume IMA(1,1) noise model with a minimum mean squared error adjustment policy.

  • LMTT (Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology) is a horizontal transfer system for the yard automation. which has been proposed to take the place qf AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) in the maritime container terminal. the system is based on PMLSM (Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor) that consists of stator modules on the rail and shuttle mr. It is desirable to reduce the weight of LMTT in order to control the electronic devices with minimum energy. In this research structural optimization for a mover of shuttle mr is performed to minimize the weight satisfying design criteria the objective function is set up as weight. On the contrary, design variable is considered as transverse, longitudinal and wheel beam's thickness and shape variable determining the dimension toward high direction and the constraints are the stresses.

  • In an urban network controlled by traffic signals, there is an interaction between the signal timing and the routes chosen by individual road users. This study develops a bi level programming model for traffic signal optimization in networks with path based traffic assignment. In the bi level programming model, genetic algorithm approach has been proposed to solve upper level problem for a signalized road network. Path based traffic assignment using column generation technique which is proposed by M.H. Xu, is applied at the lower-level. Genetic Algorithm provieds a feasible set of signal timings within specified lower and upper bounds signal timing variables and feeds into lower level problem. The performance of this model is investigated in numerical experiment in a sample network. In result, optimal signal settings and user equilibrium flows are made.

In this research, the DACE modeling, known as the one of Kriging interpolation, is introduced to obtain the surrogate approximation model of the structural responses. Then, the GRG(Generalized Reduced Gradient) method built in Excel is adopted to determine the optimum. The objective function is set up as weight. On the contrary, the design variables are considered as transverse, longitudinal and wheel beam's thicknesses, and the constraints are the maximum stresses generated by four loading conditions.

  • 수온은 수계에서 가장 중요한 물리적 특성 중 하나로서, 생물 군집, 특히 어류와 무척추 동물에 관련된 많은 수질 인자에 영향을 미친다. 하천의 생태학적 모습을 개선하기 위한 하천 복원 사업 수행에 있어서, 서식처 및 산란처 조건으로서의 수온 조사 및 모델링의 필요성이 점차 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구는 낙동강의 중상류에 위치한 반변천 합류부에 평면 이차원 비정상 수치모형인 KU-RLMS 모형을 적용하여 수온의 변화 특성을 규명할 목적으로 수행하였다. KU-RLMS 모형은 하천 및 저수지의 국부적인 수리, 수질, 유사이동 해석을 위해 개발된 평면 이차원 비정상 수치모형이다. 직사각형 격자를 사용하는 유한차분법의 단점을 보완하기 위해, 수심적분된 2차원 연속방정식, 운동량방정식, 이송확산방정식을 불규칙한 경계를 현실적으로 모사할 수 있는 직교곡선 좌표계로 변환한 방정식을 사용한다. 이 모형은 흐름, 농도, 지형변화를 조합하여 계산할 수 있는 모형으로서 점착성 및 비점착성 유사의 이동, 보존성 및 비보존성 오염물질의 이동, 수온 변화를 모의할 수 있다. 수치모형 적용을 위한 현황분석으로 안동 및 임하 조정지댐의 방류량, 안동 수위관측소의 수위, 법흥교 및 포진교 지점의 수온 자료를 분석하였다. 이송확산모형의 보정을 위해, 안동대교 지점의 수온 횡분포 측정자료를 사용하여 확산계수에 대한 매개변수 추정 및 검증을 수행하였다. 또한, 안동조정지댐과 임하조정지댐의 방류량 및 방류수온을 고려하여 수치모의조건을 결정하였으며, 각 조건에 대한 수온 변화 특성을 분석하였다.

An Effective Shadow Elimination Method Using Adaptive Parameters Update (적응적 매개변수 갱신을 통한 효과적인 그림자 제거 기법)

  • Background subtraction, which separates moving objects in video sequences, is an essential technology for object recognition and tracking. However, background subtraction methods are often confused by shadow regions and this misclassification of shadow regions disturbs further processes to perceive the shapes or exact positions of moving objects. This paper proposes a method for shadow elimination which is based on shadow modeling by color information and Bayesian classification framework. Also, because of dynamic update of modeling parametres, the proposed method is able to correspond adaptively to illumination changes. Experimental results proved that the proposed method can eliminate shadow regions effectively even for circumstances with varying lighting condition.
