A Study on Improvement of Aiming ability using Disturbance Measurement in the Firing Vehicle (사출 차량에서의 외란을 이용한 정밀 지향성 향상 연구)

  • The aiming ability is a to improve accuracy performance of the firing vehicle. This paper describes the detection method of chatter vibration using disturbance acceleration in the pointing structure. In order to analysis vibration trends of the pointing system occurred during vehicle drive, acceleration data was processed by using data processing algorithm with moving average and Hilbert transform. Specific mode constants of acceleration were obtained under various disturbances. Vehicle velocity, road condition, property of pointing structure were considered as factors which make change of vibration trend in vehicle dynamics. Finally, back propagation neural networks have been applied to the pattern recognition for the classification of vibration signal in various driving conditions. Results of signal processing were compared and analysed.

  • In developing games, realism is considered as an important factor to increase immersion. To do this, the paper developed 'Jungle Master' game applying the conventional energy model to movement of monsters in RPG. The main scenario of the game is that animals attack each other in order to survive the competition in jungle. While chasing monster : fleeing monster is 1:1 in the conventional energy model, it is extended as n:1 in order to increase fun. As the results, this paper showed that the energy model can be effectively applied to the real game and monsters can be implemented so that they can move in natural.

  • Many Korean university campuses are located on hilly terrain where the hierarchy of the path system is unclear. Therefore, it is difficult to analyze the pedestrian network through space syntax, in which only horizontal direction changes are considered as depths of space. The purpose of this study is to compare pedestrian movement patterns and space syntax analysis in order to find their relevance to each other and the relationship between them. We conducted a survey regarding the most-visited buildings and pathways at S-University, which is located on a hilly area in Seoul. The survey results were compared with the Space Syntax integration map by regression analysis. For the segments where the relationship between pedestrian volume and integration was weak, field observations were conducted. As a result, topographical aspects, functional aspects, and location aspects were observed as the main influential factors. In addition, the research proposes that adding an extra axial line per vertical directional change can potentially compensate for the low relevance of stairs. This study suggests the possibility and the necessity of three-dimensional space syntax programs and emphasizes the importance of campus planning for the pedestrian environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 로봇의 움직임 특성을 추출하여 로봇 시스템의 신뢰성을 평가하는 방법을 제안한다. 원자력 발전소 증기 발생기 전열관의 비파괴 검사에 사용되는 ECT 검사용 Probe 가이드 로봇 (이하 증기발생기 로봇으로 기술)을 대상으로 하였다. 증기발생기 로봇의 동작 상태를 감시하기 위해 관측 카메라가 설치된다. 증기발생기 수실은 로봇 설치 및 해체를 위한 원형의 출입구 (Man Way)를 제외하고는 밀폐된 공간이다. 증기 발생기 전열관의 비파괴 검사 중에는 로봇과 로봇의 동작을 감시하는 관측 카메라만 설치된다. 관측 카메라가 고정되어 있다면, 배경의 변화를 야기하는 외란은 없다고 가정할 수 있다. 시간적으로 이웃하는 2 개의 관측 영상을 미분 (차 영상) 처리하면, 로봇 시스템의 이동 성분만 추출된다. 이러한 이동성분의 크기를 계산하여 로봇의 전체 행정거리 (ECT Probe를 검사위치에 안내하기 위해 로봇 기구부가 움직이는 범위)에 대해 영상 프레임 단위로 전개하면 특정의 고유 궤적이 나타난다. 이러한 고유 궤적과 다른 패턴을 보이는 로봇의 움직임 궤적은 에러로 간주한다. Burn-in 시험 (원자력 발전소 현장에 투입하기 전에 실험실에서 현장 적용의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 수행하는 시험) 중에 있는 증기발생기 로봇에 대해 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 신뢰성 평가를 수행하였으며, 그 결과 및 문제점 등에 대해 기술한다.

  • 최근 댐과 같은 수공구조물의 건설로 대규모 홍수피해는 급격히 줄어들었지만, 돌발홍수(flash flood)로 인한 저지대 침수 등의 도시홍수 발생빈도가 급증하고 있다. 2020년에는 최장의 장마가 관측되었으며, 전국적으로 홍수로 인한 침수피해가 발생하였다. 홍수에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해서 신뢰성 있는 홍수예·경보가 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 신속하고 정확성있는 강우예측이 선행되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초단기 강우예측을 목적으로 둔 레이더 기반의 강우앙상블 예측모형을 개발하였다. 라그랑지안 지속성(Lagrangian persistence)을 기반으로 개발하였으며, 강우장의 이동 패턴은 이류특성을 활용해 추정하였다. 즉, 강우장의 예측정확도를 향상시키기 위해 공간적 규모별 캐스캐이드(cascade) 방법으로 분리해 이동 경로를 추정하였다. 예측시간에 따른 강우량은 각 캐스캐이드에 자기회귀모형을 적용하였다. 레이더 강우량은 2016-2020년 사이에 발생한 강우사상에 대한 환경부 홍수통제소에서 제공한 레이더 합성장을 이용하였다. 예측강우량에 대한 평가는 RMSE, Pearson's Correlation, FSS 등 통계치를 통해 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 소개된 강우예측 모형은 초단기 홍수예측에 정확도 높은 강우 정보를 제공할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 홍수피해를 저감하는데 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시각장애인의 안내견을 위한 인공지능을 활용한 객체 인식 기반 과속 탐지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이는 안내견이 도로 상에서 이동용 장치를 인식하는 것을 도와줌으로써 위험 요소 탐지 능력을 향상시킬 수 있고, 시각장애인의 안전을 보장할 수 있다. 인식 시스템은 Yolov5를 활용하여 사물 학습 과정을 진행하였고, 이동용 물체의 인식 과정을 통해 속도 측정 및 주변 위험 요소를 구분하여 판단하게 하였다. 판단된 정보는 안내견에게 교육된 신호로 전달되고, 시각장애인을 안전하게 인솔하여 도로상의 사고를 사전에 예방할 것으로 기대된다.

Research trends in seabird and marine fish migration: Focusing on tracking methods and previous studies (바닷새 및 해양어류의 이동 연구 동향: 위치추적 기법과 연구 사례를 중심으로)

  • In this study, trends in research methods and topics of seabird and marine fish migration were examined. Based on the framework of existing animal migration studies, future research directions were proposed in relation to the migration of seabirds and fish. In terms of research methodology, with the development of science and technology, tracking techniques using radio telemetry, acoustic telemetry, RFID (radio-frequency identification), satellite tracking, and geolocators are widely used to study seabird and fish migration. Research is also conducted indirectly through a population survey and the analysis of substances in the body. Research contents are largely classified into extrinsic factors that affect migration(such as environmental variables and interspecific competition), intrinsic factors such as hormones, anthropogenic activities including fishery and offshore wind farm, and the effect of global climate change. In future studies, physiological factors that influence or cause migration and dispersal should be identified concerning intrinsic factors. For the analysis of migration ability, it is necessary to study effects of changes in the magnetic field on the migration ability of seabirds and fish, interspecific differences in spatiotemporal migration ability, and factors that influence the migration success rate. Regarding extrinsic factors, research studies on effects of anthropogenic disturbances such as fishery and offshore wind farm and global climate change on the migration and dispersal patterns of marine animals are needed. Finally, integrated studies on the migration of seabirds and fish directly or indirectly affecting each other in various ecological aspects are required.

Different Metabolic Patterns of Parkinsonism: Analysed by Statistical Parametric Mapping (통계적 파라미터를 이용한 Parkinsonism의 Metabolic pattern 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the contribution of $^{18}$ F-FDG brain PET in the differentiating Idiopathic parkinson's diesease (IPD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), and multiple system atrophy (MSA). We studied 24 patients with parkinsonism : 8 patients (mean age 67.9$\pm$10.7 y: M/F : 3/5) with IPD, 9 patients (57.9$\pm$9.2 y : M/F : 4/5) with MSA and 7 patients (67.6$\pm$4.8 y : M/F 3/4) with PSP. All patients with parkinsonism and 22 age-matched normal controls underwent $^{18}$ F FDG PET in 3D mode after the injection of 370 MBq $^{118}$ F FDG. The patients with IPD, MSh and PSP were compared with a normal control group by a two-sided t-test of SPM99 (uncorrected P<0.001, extent threshold>100 voxel). All three parkinsonism groups, showed significant hypometabolism in the cerebral neocortex compared to the normal control group. However, the three groups displayed different metabolism in the subcortical structure, brain stem, and cerebellum. In IPD, there was no significant hypometabolism in the putamen, brain stem and cerebellum. However, MSA patients showed significant hypometabolism in the striatum, pons, and cerebellum compared to the normal controls and IPD patients. In addition, PSP showed significant hypometabolism in the caudate nuclei, the thalamus, midbrain, and the cingulate gyrus compared to the normal controls, the IPD, and MSA groups (IPD vs Normal sensitivity/specificity : 75%/l00%, MSA vs Normal sensitivity/specificity :100%/87%, PSP vs Normal sensitivity/specificity : 86%/94%). Our results show that the regional metabolism of IPD, MSA, and PSP is different mainly in the striatum, thalamus, brain stem and cerebellum. An assessment of the $^{18}$ F-FDG PET scan images using SPM may be a useful adjunct to a clinical examination in making a differential diagnosis of Parkinsonism.
