A Multi-Antenna Mobile Measurement System for DTV Coverage Measurement (DTV 커버리지 측정을 위한 다중 안테나 이동측정시스템)

  • This paper presents a novel mobile measurement system with multi antennas which enable mobile measurement as well as fixed measurement with telescope mast. Proposed system installed 4 omni directional antennas for the space diversity process and one directional log periodic antenna for the simultaneous conventional fixed measurement. Whole antenna systems are connected to the custom DTV channel analyzers with Ethernet networks respectively and processed by the main controller to calculate real time average receive levels. To prove the performance of proposed system, the typical receive models are categorized as 3 area types - open area, building area and house area, and then intensive field tests were performed through mobile and fixed measurement phases. With these measurement data, the relationships between mobile and fixed measurement are analyzed, and the concept of compensation factor is proposed to assume the average receive level of signal. The field test is fulfilled as a co-work with public broadcasters and the proposed system is applied to the intensive coverage measurement projects for metropolitan areas by the korean government agencies.

  • It it essential to get the exact location information of products for a warehouse management. It is very hard, however, to know the location of products which change their location in warehouse frequently This causes the effective warehouse management to be almost impossible. In this paper, we suggest a new location management system for such a SKU(Stock Keeping Unit) with high mobility. The system is composed of RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification), a management terminal with wireless LAN, mobile devices (Cellular Phone & PDA), and a central management system. As a model of a SKU with high mobility, we selected a used-car stored in a large-scale warehouse. We designed and implanted used-car location management system. After analyzing the operations of each position in used-car warehouse where the system will run, we implemented each function. This research shows that an embedded system with wireless LAN is able to know the status of coming in and cut and location of a SKU with high mobility in warehouse very accurately in real time. Therefore, it makes the warehouse to be controlled systematically.

A Study on Image-Based Mobile Robot Driving on Ship Deck (선박 갑판에서 이미지 기반 이동로봇 주행에 관한 연구)

  • Ships tend to be larger to increase the efficiency of cargo transportation. Larger ships lead to increased travel time for ship workers, increased work intensity, and reduced work efficiency. Problems such as increased work intensity are reducing the influx of young people into labor, along with the phenomenon of avoidance of high intensity labor by the younger generation. In addition, the rapid aging of the population and decrease in the young labor force aggravate the labor shortage problem in the maritime industry. To overcome this, the maritime industry has recently introduced technologies such as an intelligent production design platform and a smart production operation management system, and a smart autonomous logistics system in one of these technologies. The smart autonomous logistics system is a technology that delivers various goods using intelligent mobile robots, and enables the robot to drive itself by using sensors such as lidar and camera. Therefore, in this paper, it was checked whether the mobile robot could autonomously drive to the stop sign by detecting the passage way of the ship deck. The autonomous driving was performed by detecting the passage way of the ship deck through the camera mounted on the mobile robot based on the data learned through Nvidia's End-to-end learning. The mobile robot was stopped by checking the stop sign using SSD MobileNetV2. The experiment was repeated five times in which the mobile robot autonomously drives to the stop sign without deviation from the ship deck passage way at a distance of about 70m. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the mobile robot was driven without deviation from passage way. If the smart autonomous logistics system to which this result is applied is used in the marine industry, it is thought that the stability, reduction of labor force, and work efficiency will be improved when workers work.

  • 경험에 의하면 앞에서 언급한 장비의 사용, 규율, 규제된 용제의 사용, 기름 페인트 사용의 억제, 그리고 엄격한 페인트 과정을 따르는 것에 의해 잠수함내의 탄화수소 농도를 100만분의 1 또는 2 수준으로 유지할 수 있다. 예방책으로는 세심한 관찰, 선체내로 들여오는 모든 물질의 기록 그리고 규제된 물질의 사용 시간, 장소 및 양의 제어이다. 이러한 점들은 잠수함 내부를 안전하고 건강한 환경으로 설계하기 위하여 활용될 수 있는 자료들이다. 잠수함 내의 공기질은 적외선 분광 광도계, 질량 분광계, 상자성(paramagnetics), 열전도율, 광이온화 그리고 열량 검사에 의해 분석될 수 있다. 분석된 결과는 과거의 데이터와 비교되어 활성탄충의 교체등을 포함하여 유지 관리의 자료로 활용된다. 이러한 원리를 이용한 다양한 계측기가 선체 내의 대기 상태를 분석하기 위하여 사용된다. 중앙 대기 측정기, 추적 가스 분석기, 수소 탐지기, 이동형 대기 모니터, 이동형 산소 분석기, 탄광 안전 지시계, 열량 분석관, 탐지 펌프 시험기가 사용된다. 이러한 계측기는 잠수 전 또는 후에 사용된다. 계측기는 화재 발생시 영향을 받지 않은 공간 또는 냉매가 충전되는 장소에 사용된다. 오늘날 여러 종류의 특별한 잠수함이 존재한다. 정찰 업무를 통해 세계 평화를 유지하고 특별한 임무를 수행하는 것보다 덜 복잡한 목적을 지닌 잠수함도 있다. 그러나 선원들이 안전한 내부 환경 속에서 바다 속을 항해하고 계속 그 응용 범위를 확장하기 위하여 앞에서 언급한 장비들 또는 그 변형들이 사용되어야 한다.

  • 기존 중계시스템은 모든 신호들이 유선으로 연결되어 있어 중계차가 접근 할 수 없는 지역에서는 운용의 어려움 등 이동과 거리에 제약이 있다. 또한 수많은 케이블이 필요하기 때문에 결선작업이 복잡하고 작업시간이 오래 걸리는 단점을 가지고 있어 무선 중계 시스템을 이용하여 프로그램을 제작하면 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있다.. 이에 본 논문에서는 RF무선영상송수신기와 백팩 LTE등 무선중계시스템의 장단점을 비교분석하였고 이에 통해 효율적인 무선중계시스템을 설계하였다. 또한, 제안된 시스템을 이용하여 방송중계업무의 편리성이 극대화하고 새로운 형태의 방송 포맷을 개발할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Recently, in spite of fast development of smartphone, recording technology has saved, listened and searched in server based on PSTN and wired network. We introduce a mobile transcript recording system for mobile office environment. All calls using smartphone are automatically saved on memory in mobile device with this system. Thereafter, recording files are encrypted and uploaded to recording server by user authority. Beside recording data in database on web server is saved and managed efficiently and economically through web application. This system is able to be used in legal corroborative facts and the prevention of crime such as voice phishing.

  • 다양한 분야에서 무선 인터넷 서비스의 가능성이 거론되고 있는 요즘, 무선 인터넷을 통한 의료 정보 서비스 또한 관심을 모으고 있다. 모바일 기기를 이용한 의료정보 시스템은 기존 Desktop PC가 가지는 이동성의 제한이라는 단점을 극복하여 이동이 빈번한 의료 정보 사용자에게 정보 이용의 편의성과 신속성을 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 무선인터넷을 기반으로 하는 모바일 기기는 지속적인 하드웨어의 발전에도 불구하고 정보 처리의 효율성, 무선 네트워크의 불안전성, 보안등의 문제가 지적되고 있다. 의료 정보는 환자의 지극히 개인적인 정보를 취급하는 것으로 환자, 관계 의료진 이외의 사람에게 노출되는 것은 위험스러운 일이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 의료 정보가 진료의 편의성과 신속성, 업무의 효율성을 위하여 모바일 시스템으로 진화하는 경우, 무선 인터넷의 특성에 의한 보안 위협에 노출되게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모바일 원격 의료 정보 시스템을 구현하는 경우 발생할 수 있는 보안 위협에 대처할 수 있는 모바일 인증 시스템을 제안하고 구현하였다. 제안된 시스템은 모바일 원격 의료 정보 시스템의 환자 정보 보호를 위한 적절한 대안이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • Trend of wire internet has been transferred to wireless internet gradually due to the spread of mobile phone which made Possible Mobility and portability which wire internet could not afford. Not only front line of business part can access business information but also people can use government information for their daily life without limit of place. The frequent report of larceny and misuse of information has been issued to social sector that the need for IDS considering wire wireless internet. In this paper to design IDS to protect information first, searched wire internet intrusion type, intrusion detection method, and wireless intrusion type. In this paper, first, separate abnormal access at the point of system landing and detect intrusion attack with disguise through mobile wireless internet. Due to the intruder can access system normally with disguise, Circuit Patrol model has been suggested to monitor from intrusion attack.

  • As the semiconductor industrials change 200㎜-sized semiconductor wafer production process to 300㎜-sized one, it requires to develop the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a 300㎜-sized semiconductor wafer. Because such a software don't run at standalone but communicate MCS(Material Control System) and Its subsystem a robot, its architecture is very complex. Therefore, in order to develop such a software systematically, we must utilize an object-oriented development methodology. UML. This paper presents an UML process application developing the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a semiconductor wafer on the production process.

A Study on Minimum Cabin Crew Requirements for Korean Low Cost Air Carriers

  • In recent 3 years, Korea's low-cost airlines have expanded their areas of passenger transportation not only to domestic market but also to Japan, China, Southeast Asia and US territory as a total of 6 companies (8 airlines including small air operation business carriers). Currently, three more airlines have filed for air transportation business certification as future low-cost carriers, and this expansion is expected to continue. To cope with the aggressive airline operations of domestic and foreign low-cost carriers and to enhance their competitiveness, each low-cost airline is taking a number of strategies for promoting cabin service. Therefore, the workload of the cabin crew is increased in proportion to the expansion, and the fatigue directly connected with the safety task performance is increased. It is stipulated in the Enforcement Regulations of the Korea Aviation Safety Act that at minimum, one cabin crew is required per 50 passenger seating capacity, and all low cost carriers are boarding only the minimum cabin crew. Sometimes it is impossible for them to sit in a floor level emergency exit for evacuation, which is the main task of the cabin crew, and this can cause confusion among evacuating passengers in the event of an emergency. In addition, if one of the minimum cabin crew becomes incapacitated due to an injury or the like, it will become a serious impediment in performing emergency evacuation duties. Even in the normal situation, since it will be violating the Act prescription on the minimum cabin crew complement, passengers will have to move to another available airline flights, encountering extreme inconvenience. Annex 6 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation specifies international standards for the determination of the minimum number of cabin crew shall be based only on the number of passenger seats or passengers on board for safe and expeditious emergency evacuation. Thereby in order to enhance the safety of the passengers and the crew on board, it is necessary to consider the cabin crew's fatigue that may occur in the various job characteristics (service, safety, security, first aid)and floor level emergency exit seating in calculating the minimum number of cabin crew. And it is also deemed necessary for the government's regulatory body to enhance the cabin safety for passengers and crew when determining the number of minimum cabin crew by reflecting the cabin crew's workload leading to their fatigue and unavailability to be seated in a floor level emergency exit on low cost carriers.
