본 연구는 $\boxDr$KoMCl (Korea Medical Citation Index) 2000 한국 의학학술지 인용정보$\boxUl$를 바탕으로 하여 한국 의학학술지에 의한 인용을 통하여 한국 의학학술지를 평가하는 대규모의 인용문헌 분석을 시도하였다. 2000년도에 발행된 69종의 한국 의학학술지를 대상으로 하여 이들의 인용도와 각종 인용분석지표의 특성을 고찰하고, 이러한 인용분석지표가 연구자의 업적평가 지표로 사용될 수 있는지의 여부에 대해 분석 하였다.

최근 국제학술지에 등재되는 한국 의학논문이 증가하는 이유가 SCI 또는 MEDLINE 학술지를 선호하는 연구업적 평가정책과 관련이 있는지에 대한 관심이 국내학계에 존재하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 1980년대에 이어 1990년대에도 SCI 학술지나 MEDLINE 학술지에 많은 논문을 발표한 의학분야 중의 하나인 방사선학분야를 중심으로, 한국 의학자들이 1990년대에 발표한 논문들의 증가추세, 국제학술지와 국내학술지 논문 분포현황을 분석하여, 우리나라 의학 학술논문의 국제화 동향과 그 특성을 고찰하였다.

The present study is aimed at the comparative evaluation of several CD-ROM MEDLINE versions for biomedical information retrieval and searching. The CD-ROM MEDLINE has recently been introduced in Korea and is actively using for health and medical professionals as an effective delivery tool of biomedical information. And this evaluative study revealed some different advantages and disadvantages in searching information among several CD-ROM MEDLINE versions. The present study also provides some findings of CD-ROM user's information seeking behaviors.

여러 색인들에 수록된 한국의학논문의 중복정도를 연구하여, 연구업적을 효율적으로 평가하기 위한 색인 선정방법을 제시하고자 하였다. EMBASE, MEDLINE, SCISEARCH에 수록된 1990년에서 1995년 사이의 한국의학논문 중에서, 외국 학술지에 게재된 한국의학논문의 건수와 연도별 증가추이를 조사 분석하였다. 1990년, 1992년, 1994년 3개년을 선정하여, 2개 이상 데이터베이스에서 중복 검색된 논문수, 특정 데이터베이스에서만 검색된 논문수, 그 논문들이 실린 학술지를 분석하였다. 의학연구업적을 평가할 때에, 한 개의 데이터베이스를 사용한다면 한국의학논문이 가장 많이 검색된 SCISEARCH를, 두 개의 데이터베이스를 활용한다면 EMBASE를 추가하는 것이 효율적인 데이터베이스 선정방법이라고 할 수 있다.

지식 정보의 확산에 따라 기존 전문분야 용어집에 수록되지 않은 용어의 수가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다 이에 따라 용어집을 자동으로 구축하는 작업이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 의학분야 코퍼스에서 주어진 전문용어에 대한 정의문을 자동으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 우선, 정의문의 구문적 패턴과 용어의 어휘구성 패턴을 이용하여 용어의 상위개념을 추정한다. 상위개념별로 구축된 특성 어휘 목록을 이용하여 구문적 패턴으로 뽑힌 문장에 등장하는 어휘의 적합성 여부를 판단하여 정의문을 추출한다. 실험 결과 코퍼스에 정의 정보가 있는 48개의 용어에 대하여 71.43%의 정확률을 보인다.

학회는 학술지식정보자원의 최신정보에 대한 중요한 접근통로라 할 수 있다. 하지만, 대규모 학회를 제외하고는 정보 수집과 서비스 면에서 재래식 방법을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 더구나 최근에는 각 학회 자체 업무중 발생하는 회원관리 논문투고 심사와 같은 제반업무와 발간되는 학술정보에 대한 정보화를 수행하고자 하는 학회의 열의가 급격히 증가하고 있는 추세이나 학회의 재정상 적극적으로 이행하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 KISTI(한국과학기술정보연구원)는 국가차원의 학회 정보화 사업의 일환으로 학회정보 유통 체제 전 과정을 온라인화하고 쉽게 관리할 수 있도록 한 $\boxDr$KISTI-ACOMS(KISTI -Article COntribution Management System: KISTI- 학회논문투고관리시스템)$\boxUl$을 개발하여 2001 년부터 학회에 무상으로 보급하여 왔다. 최근 KISTI-ACOMS를 이용하고자 하는 학회의 요청이 더욱 확대되고 있어, KISTI는 많은 학회의 특성들을 의견수렴 하여 KISTI-ACOMS의 표준화를 목표로 보완해 나가고 있다.

This study has surveyed the professors and graduate students of school of medicine at K university, to analyze the medical library users' service quality perceptions on electronic journals and their effects on the customer satisfaction. Two groups of faculty members and graduate students has statistically significant different perceptions on the service quality of electronic journals. Among four sub-dimensions of service quality, there are no statistically significant differences in the perceptions between two groups in convenience of use, accessability, and content resources, but there is significant differences in supportiveness between two groups. In the perceptions on the satisfaction and value, faculty group has significantly higher perceptions on both of them. The most influential dimension of the service quality of the electronic journal for the perception on the satisfaction is supportiveness followed by convenience of use and content resources. Moderating effect of value on service quality, its sub-dimensions, and satisfaction is not proved statistically.

개인의 체질에 맞춰 의학적 행위를 시행하는 사상의학은 우리나라 고유의 전통의학으로 가치를 인정받고 있다. 이러한 사상의학에서 가장 중요한 것은 사상체질의 정확한 분류이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 사상체질 분류 방법인 용모사기, 체형기상, QSCCII, 체질침 등이 임상의들의 직관에 의해 행해지고 있다는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사상체질 분류의 정량화 및 객관화를 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 음성 신호 분석에서 발생하는 정보의 출력값에 의해 사상 체질을 분류하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 40대 이상의 장년기 남성을 대상으로 사상체질 전문의의 진단표에서 뚜렷한 특징을 보유하고 있는 집단군을 구성하고 이들의 음성 특성을 분류하여 음성학적 요소를 추출하고자 한다. 또한 출력된 결과값을 토대로 체질 집단별 차이점과 유사성을 분류하여 사상 체질 분류를 행하였다.

Hamming distances in medical science are used for the diagnosis of diseases. The differences of the distances, however, are often very small, and is not in the general statistical form such as normal or chi-square distribution. In this study, we explore the characteristics and significance of the differences of Hamming distances generated in medical diagnosis.

In this study, research topic areas in Korean and American medical schools were analyzed to detect each nation's major research areas. CLINICAL NEUROLOGY was identified as the Korean researchers' major subject area by the total number of journals and 'RADIOLOGY, NUCLEAR MEDICINE & MEDICAL IMAGING' was the most major area by the total number of articles. On the other hand, American researchers' top major subject area was the one same area according to all analysis, BIOCHEMISTRY & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY. In addition, Korean researchers showed publishing tendency related to journal preference in several subject areas.
