  • 최근 웹을 기반으로 한 계속적인 기술 발전에 따라 의사결정에 필요한 데이터의 요구는 점점 다양해지고 있으며 다양한 요구를 효과적으로 대응하기 위해 데이터 추출 방법에 대한 연구도 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 자연어를 통해 사용자가 쉽게 원하는 자료를 추출 할 수 있는 방법론을 연구 하였다. 자연어 처리 기술에 대한 연구는 여러 방면에서 이루어지고 있는데 그 중에서도 본 논문에서는 기존의 자연어 처리 연구를 바탕으로 크게 3가지 형태로 연구 진행 하였다. 사용자가 입력한 정보를 바탕으로 유추하여 자연어를 처리하거나 이후 진행될 검색을 선 예측 하는 방법과 사용자 별로 검색되는 자연어를 통해 연관 관계를 설정하여 사용자에게 예측검색을 유도하는 방법 그리고 의사 결정을 위해 구축된 데이터베이스 스키마 정보를 이용하여 사용자가 쉽게 질의 문을 생성할 수 있도록 하는 방법론 연구이다. 본 논문을 통해 연구된 내용은 실제 구축하여 진행 하였고, 연구결과로 생성된 질의 문이 효과적으로 시스템에서 처리 되는 과정에 대한 연구도 함께 진행하고 검증하였다.

A Study on Methodology to Assess IT Investment by ROI (IT ROI에 의한 투자 타당성 평가 방법론 연구)

  • It is difficult to justify an IT investment unless the investment is expected to have a direct impact on a corporation's performance under rapidly changing business environment. It is important to demonstrate the benefit of the investment through a pre-investment assessment process to induce the executive's decision. This paper presents a methodology to assess the investment by analyzing cost and benefit of the investment. This methodology shows tangible cost as well as hidden cost by analyzing total cost of ownership. The methodology also produces ROI by performing cost benefit analysis including financial and non-financial factors. This paper suggests a systematic way to support If investment decision marking process by evaluating the investment objectively.

Forecasting Bulk Freight Rates with Machine Learning Methods

  • This paper applies a machine learning model to forecasting freight rates in dry bulk and tanker markets with wavelet decomposition and empirical mode decomposition because they can refect both information scattered in the time and frequency domain. The decomposition with wavelet is outperformed for the dry bulk market, and EMD is the more proper model in the tanker market. This result provides market players with a practical short-term forecasting method. This study contributes to expanding a variety of predictive methodologies for one of the highly volatile markets. Furthermore, the proposed model is expected to improve the quality of decision-making in spot freight trading, which is the most frequent transaction in the shipping industry.

A Contextual Study of Public Transport Information Service Use Behavior in Daily Activity (일상 활동에서의 상황변수를 고려한 대중교통 정보서비스 이용 유형 연구)

  • It has become important to have some proper guidelines of how to provide public transport information services in response to the rapid IT developments and the wide spread of public information services. The current study takes a contextual approach to the analysis of public transportation information use under a dynamic decision situation, complementing the conventional cross-sectional approaches. Using the CHAID of decision tree induction based on decision table formalism applied to the survey data of activity travel and information use, the study found that the information type and medium choices are strongly affected by the decision contexts in addition to the individuals' socio-demographic characteristics. The results suggest an important implication to the market segmentation of information services for public transportation.

  • The strategic decision makers of the firm have faced with uncertainty and complexity. Although they must make decision under these environments, they can't have enough time, man power, budget and knowledge that they need to decide. They can't, therefore, help getting supports by experts who have implicit knowledge about the domain. But it is difficult for them to find any other procedures and methods to create, transform, combine, and apply new knowledges, whenever decision makers face the problem This paper provides a new method to support a strategic decision making by using the knowledge transformation process suggested by Nonaka. We illustrate an application case of the strategic decision making in consulting industry. This paper uses cognitive map as a decision support technology based on the suggested method.

Subjectivity Study on Decision Making Elements for Firefighting of Firefighters: An Investigation Utilizing Q Methodology (소방관의 화재대응의사결정요인에 관한 주관성 연구: Q방법론을 활용한 조사를 중심으로)

  • This study originated from recognition of importance of firefighters' decision-making in fire response, coupled with existing gap in research. By utilizing Q-methodology, the study aimed to categorize firefighters' subjectivity in fire response decision-making. Through this categorization, the study sought to highlight insights into the current technological and data limitations, as well as potential directions for future R&D in the field of firefighting. The findings of the study revealed that firefighters' subjectivity could be classified into three factors: "emphasis on direct information related to rescue," "emphasis on information related to the target property," and "emphasis on information related to command and coordination." The study theoretically confirmed that the subjectivity of firefighters' decision-making in fire response is partially influenced by their experiences and job. Additionally, the study's significance lay in its approach of collecting specific decision-making factors in fire response, moving beyond general theoretical models. Furthermore, from a policy perspective, the typification of decision-making factors contributed to connecting the identified data-based administrative needs from prior studies. Insights from the study emphasized the importance of leveraging on-site experience in Korea to aid decision-making, calling for the development of equipment and data collection methods that can rapidly and accurately assess on-site conditions.

  • This treatise wishes to proposal of most suitable about happened patient's disease when a doctor achieves medical treatment action about patient and decision-making methodology that decide treatment does presentation low class informer. That is, when a doctor treats patient, case that do medical examination and treatment to experience about disease at medical examination and treatment process is general. In case is like this, unexpected treatment side effect can be happened doing not consider patient's special quality or conditions. Use a medical decision-making tool to minimize these problem. Treatise that see therefore investigated validity about if arrange medical decision-making system concept, and analyze several tools(decision-making tools) that help in decision-making, and can help in medical examination and treatment decision-making of most suitable.

The Effect of Sunk Cost and Anchoring Effect on Shipping Finance (매몰 비용과 엥카링 효과가 선박금융에 미치는 영향)

  • Shipping companies have suffered additional losses because of irrational shipping finance decisions. This paper analyses the cases according to the behavioral finance theories. The theories of behavioral finance used in the analysis and research of this paper are the anchoring effect and sunk cost effect. The backgrounds and reasons for the decisions regarding ship financing are analysed based on the questionnaire responses and case studies. As a result of the analysis, it is found that the behavioral finance theories, anchoring effect, and sunk cost effect, have effects on the ship financing decisions, that errors related to behavioral finance can result in irrational decisions, and that shipping companies suffered additional losses because of the behavioral finance errors.

  • web Mining은 Network의 발전과 함께 그 중요성이 대두되고 있는 전자상거래(EC)에서 디지털화된 자료의 분석을 통하여 가상상점을 이용하는 고객의 이용경로, 검색 및 구매경로, 상품에 대한 고객의 검색 및 구매 경향을 정확히 파악하기 위해 중요한 주제로서 연구되고 있는 분야이다. 본 연구에서는 전자상거래(EC) 시스템의 디지털화된 자료를 분석할 때 기존의 통계적인 방법론에서 벗어나 고객의 주관적인 검색 및 구매의 의사결정 과정분석에서 퍼지이론을 도입하여 새로운 Web mining 방법론을 제안하였다.
