Currently, the multi-unit houses are the largest in the ratio of housing types, and the number of households in multi-unit houses is steadily increasing. As the multi-family housing project continues, the accuracy of estimates for decision-making and feasibility assessment are required in the early stages of the project. Therefore, this study selected the influential factors affecting the estimated estimate and showed the relative importance of each factor through weight analysis and suggested the method of calculating the estimated estimate to improve the accuracy. The calculation plan presented through this study will be used as a useful data for project feasibility review and is expected to make a great contribution in preventing the economic loss of the client.

The public research and development (R&D) funds for construction engineering is one of the key elements for the advancement of construction industry. Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation is currently planning to produce approximately US$ 500 millions of research funds every year in Korea from year 2007. Along with the prospect for increasing R&D investment, there is of increasing pressures on the development of quantitative methodologies for assessing the performance of construction R&D results. Although there have been some general R&D project evaluation methods, they are not readily used for construction R&D research assessment due to the distinct characteristics of construction R&D. This paper presents a simple methodology that can make quantitative assessments of construction R&D performances. The proposed methodology is expected to assist government officials in objectively evaluating construction R&D performances and identifying the areas that require more R&D investment.

Today, there is in the world-wide cognition about RFID technology due to established standard, EPC(Electronic Product Code). RFID technology will have wide influence over various fields. Especially, RFID technology's advantages will have positive influence on logistics field. We can solve limited various problems presented in SCM by applying RFIB technology. We can have higher cantrol system, better benefits and actual decision information. Many organizations, however, still have hesitated now because RFID technology has not been validated and RFID technology is in early stage. Other problems are employee resistance against new technology and lack of academic empirical research on assimilation RFID technology for organization. Above reasons I mentioned make me study on analysis on assimilation RFID technology decision in SCM field. This study attempts to analyze the assimilation RFID technology factor from previous researches by using AHP. This outcomes of study will be helpful when we assimilate RFID technology in SCM fields.

A pixel-based approach to urban quality of life assessment can be regarded as a spatial decision problem under the condition of complexity because it searches the urban space for evidence of hot spots of quality of life based on multiple and differentially weighted evaluation criteria. Such an assessment involves inappropriate scaling of several incommensurate criteria, much unstructured subjectivity in the decision maker's judgment, and the large data handling in a raster GIS environment. There is a need for identifying alternative approaches to tackle the ill-structured problem in urban quality of life assessment. In this context, this research proposes and implements a spatial multicriteria analysis approach to evaluate urban quality of life in a raster GIS environment. The implementation of this methodology is illustrated with a case study of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Results indicate that the proposed methodology may provide an alternative approach for evaluating the quality of life in an urban environment.

The Korean textile industry faces a crisis, and overseas expansion is increasing. Indonesia, the third trading partner in the Korean textile industry, is the fifth largest country in terms of Korea's direct investment. This study intends to suggest a development strategy for Korean fabric mills to advance into Indonesia. First, the SWOT representative factors of the fabric mills considering the circumstances of Indonesia were derived through literature research and expert meeting. In order to derive the priority among these, AHP analysis was performed to derive the final weight and priority of the SWOT factors. Through this, I would like to suggest a management strategy that can be helpful to companies that have already entered Indonesia and are planning to enter the country in the future.

Competitive international business environment has forced many firms to focus on supply chain management to cope with highly increasing competition. Hence the supplier selection is the most important decision of a company. Because it has a direct effect on cost reduction and quality, profitability and flexibility improvement of a company, so the right supplier selection significantly affect on the organization's efficiency and effectiveness and competitiveness. The primary research objects of this study is to evaluate an importance of supplier selection factors as an index and to present the evaluation model for supplier selection. For this purpose, this study adopts the AHP method to calculate the importance of supplier selection factors. In this study, 16 factors which affect on the supplier selection decision making are classified into three factors-product supply related factor, product related factor, management ability related factor.

This paper is about a the evaluation method for universal design on AHP method. Evaluation of Universal Design to develop indicators of the seven principles of universal design and the tripod of Design(in Japan) Review of the PPP, and previous studies were chosen with reference to a indicators. Selected variables were analyzed using the AHP technique, Universal Design 7 elements were derived weights. Factor of the most important on universal design is 'Perceptible Information'(0.263), and 'Tolerance for Error'(0.207), 'Simple and Intuitive Use'(0.154), 'Low Physical Effort'(0.143) was in order. 'Size & Space for Approach and Use'(0.108) is then shown to be important, while the 'Equitable Use'(0.087), 'Flexibility in Use'(0.038) was rated relatively low importance. Based on the results reflected a weighted evaluation of universal design checklist is proposed. Process to obtain the weights can be applied to a variety of situations.

This study aims to assess the competitiveness of 30 logistics centers that operate in the hinterland of the North Container Port at Busan New Port. Thirty-two key factors were selected from previous studies to analyze and improve competitiveness and expand business opportunities in the hinterland. Suggestions from logistics experts were also canvassed. These variables were then put through first- and second-factor analysis to verify validity and measure confidence levels; they were later categorized into five factors and 15 sub-factors impacting on competitiveness. The categorized factors were compared using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to assess the importance of each factor and sub-factor in the case of logistics centers in the North Container hinterland of Busan New Port. The findings indicate that factors related to the securing of significant amounts of container cargoes were of greater importance. On the other hand, relatively basic factors proved to be less important in improving the competitiveness of the port hinterland.

Sustainable development is one of the important concept of the 21st century. Especially, Social sustainability is an important factor in today's society with the weakened community, and is needed exploring social sustainability in the residential environment as a container of human life. The purpose of this study was to develop the evaluation indicators and evaluation system of social sustainability in residential environment. In order to develop evaluation indicators first, the delphi expert survey was conducted to assess the adequacy of selected the evaluation indicators in previous studies. Second, expert survey using the method of AHP was progressed in order to analyze importance and weight of evaluation indicators and was analyzed using Expert Choice. The findings of this study are as followings; the evaluation system was composed of locality, communality and organisms. The communality is the most important. The locality was composed of historical and cultural, reflection of regional identity and homogeneous of regions. Reflection of local identity is the most important in locality area. The communality was composed of social integration environment, community activities and the community space. The community activities are the most important in communality area. The organism was composed of employment, self-sufficiency, welfare, population, safety and housing. Safety is the most important in the organism area.

The use of games using smartphones have become universal, and the market share of MMORPG among various game genres shows an uptrend. However, MMORPG requires complex interface in view of the genre characteristics, and therefore, there are difficulties in building interface for efficient game play. This study analyzed game interface characteristics to suggest MMORPG game interface suitable for the mobile environment, and carried out a questionnaire survey evaluation on the usability of fight, exploration, character and transaction interfaces targeting 12 users. To quantitatively evaluate the subjective questionnaire survey results, this study analyzed a correlation between the characteristics of game interface and popularity using AHP. As a result, there was a close correlation between game selection & popularity and interface, and this study ascertained that interface development through game interface usability evaluation using AHP was possible.
