Metonymy can be said to be the only language's meaning shifting technique that exists in the domain of a single human thought in order to obtain a transparent cognitive effect. The purpose of this study was to analyze the 'descriptive metonymy' of the advertising content language constructed by the cognitive principle and to find a way to use it in media language education for social and cultural interests and reflection of college students. The metonymy used in advertising media contrasts with the difficulty of the metaphorical interpretation of "opaque and distant" reasoning. Storyboards, mostly focused on human emotions and behaviors, used metonymy's 'transparent and easy meaning shifting technique'. I have found that I can expect the efficiency of media language education that contains the interest and sociocultural interest, self-reflection, and future imagination of college students. Now, there is less need to perform cognitive reasoning for advertisements with ambiguous metaphor techniques. Lastly, in order to produce successful advertising content, we expect to use the language technique of 'narrative metonymy' with warm feelings of humans, and acknowledge the lack of quantitative research and leave it as a task for the next research.

KAIST는 다수의 성공 창업 사례와 국내 창업생태계에서 기술창업 발생지로 역사적 의미를 이어오고 있다. 최근 KAIST의 교원 창업이 매년 증가하고 있으며 딥테크 분야 창업으로 성장률과 생존율이 매우 높게 나타나 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 국가적으로도 매우 중요한 혁신기술창업 집적지라는 평가를 받고 있다. 대표적인 기업가적 대학인 KAIST는 기술창업 요람이라고 불리며 오랫동안 캠퍼스 창업생태계를 구축해오고 있다. 또한, 대한민국 창업생태계가 발전하면서 창업기업을 가장 많이 배출시킨 기관으로 혁신적인 창업문화를 선도해 오고 있다. 최근 KAIST의 신문화전략 1 Lab 1 Startup 비전을 수립하였고, 과학기술의 우수한 기술력을 바탕으로 연구실 R&D 기술을 혁신창업으로 이어지는 사업화를 위한 변화와 혁신을 주도하고 있다. 신문화전략 이후 몇 년 동안 교원들이 더욱 창업에 많은 관심을 가지기 시작하였고, 실질적으로 KAIST의 혁신 창업기업 수가 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 신문화 전략 외에도 다양한 교원창업 성공사례 확산, 교원창업 활성화를 위해 제도개선, 아이디어 발굴부터 기술사업화 지원, 자금조달, 비즈니스 모델 고도화, 기술사업화 및 글로벌 창업지원, 창업 인프라를 제공하고 있기 때문이다. 하지만 KAIST의 창업을 한 교수를 대상으로 세부적으로 기술창업 성공 사례와 핵심요인에 대해서 분석한 연구는 매우 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KAIST에서는 교원창업 분야에서 성공적인 창업기업을 배출되고 있는 현상에 관한 사례, KAIST의 특화된 창업지원프로그램 소개, 교원 창업 성공 사례들이 어떻게 가능한지에 관한 요인과 그 이유를 탐색하고자 한다. 교수 창업 활성화를 위한 규정, 제도, 창업지원프로그램 등에 대해서 분석을 하고자 한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 대표성이 있는 KAIST N차(연쇄 창업가) 창업을 한 A 교수의 사례를 중심으로 어떻게 지속해서 창업하고 있는지, 성공 요인이 무엇인지, 어떻게 하면 교원창업이 활성화될 수 있는지 요인들을 파악하고, 연쇄 창업 방법론이 무엇인지 사례조사와 함께 선행연구 문헌 자료 조사, 인터뷰를 중심으로 연구하여 대한민국에서 실질적인 교수창업이 활성화될 수 있는 활성화 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 교원창업에 있어서 실질적인 애로사항, 현황, 여러 번 인터뷰를 통해 핵심 요인과 원인을 파악하고자 한다. 국가적으로 대학 교원 창업 활성화 모델이 필요한 시점에 실효성이 있고 성과를 창출할 수 있는 활성화 모델을 제시하여 대학의 우수한 연구, 인적 자원을 활용한 혁신 창업 활성화 모델을 새롭게 제시하여 기업가적 대학으로 발전하고 교원들이 적극적으로 창업에 관심을 가지고 성공적인 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 체계를 만들고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 A교수의 N차(5개 창업) 창업한 사례 연구를 통해 대학 교원들의 혁신창업 활성화를 위한 정책적, 실무적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

최근 인구의 고령화 추세 확대와 함께 건강 증진에 대한 인식고조 등으로 의료 산업에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 세계 각국에서는 의료산업의 중요성이 더욱 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 추세에 맞춰 산업연관표를 이용하여 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 산업연관분석을 활용하여 의료자동화 산업의 생산유발효과와 부가가치유발효과, 그리고 전후방 연쇄효과를 통하여 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구는 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과에 주목하여 의료 자동화 산업이 우리나라 경제에 미치는 영향 등을 최초로 분석하였으며, 다양한 파급효과 도출을 통해 정부 정책 판단의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

This study was described to examine the meaning of the media exhibition work <70mK>, which aims to capture the topography of the collective consciousness of the Korean people through large-scale interviews. <70mK> edits and organizes interview images of individual beings in mosaic-like layouts and forms, creating video exhibitions and holding exhibitions. The objects in the split frame show the continuity of differences that reveal their own thoughts and personalities. This is a synchronic and conscious collective typology in which the intrinsic nature of the individuals is embodied in a simultaneous and holistic image. Interview images reveal their own form as a actual being and convey the intrinsic nature of one's own as oral information. <70mK> constructs a new individualization by aesthetically structuring the forms and information of life individuals in the extension of a specific group. The beings in the frame are not communicating with each other and are looking straight ahead. it conveys to visitors their relationship and personality as the preindividual reality. It is the repetitive arrangement and composition of heterogeneity and difference that each individual shows, and is a chain operation that includes collective identity behind it. <70mK> constructs the direct images and sounds of individual interviewee, creating a new form of information transfer called Video Art Exhibition. This makes metaphors and perceptions of the meaning and process of transindividual relationships and the meaning of psychic individuation and collective individuation. This is an appropriate case to explain with modern technology and individualization of Gilbert Simondon thought together with the meaning of becoming and relation of individualization. The exhibition space constructed by <70mK> is an aesthetic methodology of the psychic and collective meaning and its relationship to a particular group of individuals through which they are connected. Simondon studied the meaning of the process of individualization and the meaning of becoming, and is a philosopher who positively considered the potential of modern technology. <70mK> is a new individual as structured and generated ethical reality mediated by modern technology mechanisms and network behaviors. It is an case of an aesthetic and practical methodology of how interviews function as 'transduction' in the process of individualization in which technology is cooperated. The direct images and sounds of <70mK> are systems in which the information of life individuals is carried, amplified, accumulated and transmitted. It is also a new individual as a psychic and collective landscape. It is a newly became exhibition art work through the multiple individualization, and is a representation of transindividual meanings and process. The media exhibition art of individualized metastable states leads to new relationships in which viewers perceive the same preindividual reality and feel affectivity. The exhibition space of <70mK> becomes a stage for preparing the actual possibility of the transindividual group beyond the representation of the semantic function.

Commercialism of journalism adheres to short-term profit, and the decrease in quality. Commercialization means the process that is deepened low quality of journalism. It is for a purpose and a means to have been transposed. The mid term of 1990's, deregulation of media and commercialism of journalism were gaining power in the developed countries. Korea has come to the similar condition which is most laws of press and broadcasting are deregulated. There is also concern to the commercialization of journalism in Korea. Four broadcasting channels (cross-ownership media) enter in media market, and a huge change is expected. It is for concern regarding commercialization of journalism not to stop to a baseless anxiety. In order to consider more deeply the problems of commercialism, I have approached instances of the art world and the developed countries. Through this, I declared the importance of ethics of journalists.

S1he concept of a class in the land-use classification system can be equally applied to a class in the land-use-change classification. The maximum likelihood method using linear discriminant function and Markov transition matrix method were integrated to a synthetic modeling effort in order to project spatial allocation of land-use-change and quantitative assignment of that prediction as a whole. The algorithm of both the multivariate discriminant function and the Markov chain matrix were discussed and the test of synthetic model on the study area was resulted in the projection of '90 year as well as '95 year land -use classification. The accuracy and the issue of modeling improvement were discussed eventually.

The shaft system of a vessel becomes stiffer because of larger engine power, whereas the hull structure becomes more flexible because of scantling optimization conducted by using high-tensile thick steel plates. The draught-dependent deformation of the hull affects each bearing offset and reaction force comprising the subsequent shaft system. This is the reason that more sophisticated shaft alignments are required. In this study, an FE analysis performed under the expected operating conditions of two (2) vessels, as maximum draught change and to analyze the shaft alignment using the relative bearing offset change, which was derived from an FE analysis of the 50,000 DWT oil/chemical tanker, which has become an eco-friendly vessel in recent years. Based on this, the influence of the hull deflection on the bearing offset was reviewed against results for shaft alignment conditions.

This study was carried out to discover the response of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) senescence- associated genes (SAGs) to several plant hormones in detached and developing cotyledon. Accordingly, a collection of cucumber SAGs were examined to characterize their gene expression response through semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Cotyledons were excised at day 14 after seed sowing from plantlets, then incubated in 100 μM each of IAA or zeatin solution for up to 4 days in light and darkness. They were collected at 2-day intervals and used for total RNA extraction and subjected to RT-PCR. Gene expression levels of several cucumber SAGs were significantly changed during the incubation period. More than five cucumber SAGs involving SAG 60 responded to the IAA and zeatin treatment. In the ethylene response study, cotyledons were exposed up to 10 days by ethylene gas. Most of the cucumber SAGs did not show immediate response to ethylene in green cotyledon. The exceptions were PCK, SAG 158, and SAG 288 genes, which responded after 1 day of exposure to green cotyledon, while ICL and SAG 281 revealed strong responses after 10 days of being exposed to yellowing cotyledon. These results suggest that several cucumber SAGs react actively in response to starvation or senescence against exogenously applied stimulus. This induced senescence response is able to understand the SAGs role in lipids and amino acids metabolism partly and function in organ senescence during development.

Quantitative analysis of distribution characteristics of soils in Jeju Island was conducted by using geographic information system (GIS) technology. Soil series could be classified 5 groups after cluster analysis with proximity ratios among soil series which mean ratios of boundary lengths of other soils to total boundary length. Classification with proximity only was similar to conventional classification system at detailed soil map although conventional system was made from several criteria such as soil color, altitude and chemical characteristics of soils. Altitudinal sequence of soil series was also suggested from representative altitudes of them which could be found from areal distribution curve along altitudes. The sequence was brown forest soils - black soils - very dark brown soils - dark brown soils from the peak of Halla Mt. to the coast on all sides, which maybe related to pedogenesis process in Jeju Island.

Cross-Media Storytelling(CMS) is the new method of media representation. It picks the features and the elements in one media, and uses them in another media. 'Remediation' in digital era uses the content of old media in new form based on new technology. But 'CMS' represents the basic elements of the media experience in each unique style of media. It changes the focus from the technology to experience. So CMS is the new strategy of the media not based on the new technology. Adam PESapane's (2006) is a example for this strategy. It takes the game media as a subject matter. But it expresses the meta-representation of game experience in the "stop motion animation" Especially it emphasizes the narrative chain between the usual phenomenon and the visual imagination. And it shows the possibility of representation of new media experience in the old media genre. So it suggests the conditions of CMS.
