Implementation Plan of Integrated Medical Information System for Ubiquitous Healthcare Service (U-Healthcare 서비스를 위한 통합의료정보시스템의 구축방안)

  • Modern society can be described as ubiquitous computing over the concept of information. Information technology(IT) has been developing in a way that relative technologies are integrated to each other. Especially in ubiquitous environment, medical information industry shows significant interest in the U-healthcare service area. This paper will first look into U-healthcare service environment and component of Integrated Medical Information Systems(IMIS). Secondly, it examines the basic technological factors for integrated medical information systems, which is datawarehouse, network, communication standards and technology related U-healthcare service. Finally it proposes how to implement and operate new integrated medical information system for ubiquitous health care service. The system will do point of care(POC) for customers by real time and diagnose them using their various and personal medical data. The information will be communicated back to the customers, which will improve their satisfaction.

A Study on the Performance Evaluation of Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System : Focused on the Perspective of Provider and Beneficiary (보훈의료서비스 전달체계의 효과성과 만족도에 관한 성과평가 연구 : 공급자 측면과 수요자 측면을 중심으로)

  • This study examines determining factors of effectiveness and satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System. Especially, the association between the relevant variables of the effectiveness of the Veteran Medical Service Delivery System and the variables of the satisfaction from the perspective of beneficiaries was studied. Multi-level analysis was utilized to separate results of the evaluation of effectiveness in organizational-level and the evaluation of satisfaction in individual-level. This study tests key posited hypothesis by using survey data collected from 5 medical center of country(Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju). In terms of the result of the hypothesis testing on the effectiveness variable, integrity(${\beta}=.156$), accountability(${\beta}=.376$, financial sufficiency(${\beta}=.109$), and adequacy (${\beta}=.367$) are the determinants among various factors in evaluating veteran medical service delivery system, statistically reflecting the perception of directors of the veteran medical service delivery facilities on effectiveness. In other word, professionalism variable(${\beta}=0.99$) and effectiveness variable(${\beta}=-1.09$) are statistically reflecting the perception of directors of the beneficiaries satisfaction with employee. The findings suggests that the theoretical and practical implications will improve Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Veteran Medical Service Delivery System.

The Analysis for Welfare Satisfaction Factor of Clinic's Radiological Technologist (의원 방사선사의 복지만족요인 분석)

  • As the research for evaluating the welfare satisfaction factor of radiological technologist who works in the clinic, this study was conducted to analysis the satisfaction factor, satisfaction level, and the improvements. During July 14, 2014 to March 31, 2015, after we sent out a total of 150 questionnaires for the survey to radiological technologists working at the clinic located in Gyoungsangnam province, 130 questionnaires suitable for research were analysis by using SPSS 18.0 statistical analysis software. As the welfare factors, working environment, financial support, educational opportunity, medical support, working culture, etc. were used. And as the sociodemographic characteristics, the gender, marriage, level of education, age, and working period were used. As a result of analysis of satisfaction level by welfare factors, working environment was $2.74{\pm}0.65$, financial support was $2.42{\pm}0.74$, educational opportunity was $2.24{\pm}0.72$, medical support was $2.68{\pm}0.69$, and working culture was $2.27{\pm}0.64$. Consequentially, the satisfaction level of welfare factor ($2.45{\pm}0.59$) was confirmed as below average. On the nature of the clinic, the management's lack of awareness of welfare is a realistic limit. In order to improve the satisfaction level of clinic's radiological technologist, it thought that there should be the proactive changes of the managements and the change of the medical staff 's perception. Moreover, it is important to provide selective welfare effectively by the investigation of employees' desire for welfare.

Analysis of Selection Criteria of Consumers for Dental Clinic (의료소비자의 특성별 치과의료기관 선택기준에 관한 분석)

  • The subjects of this study were the patients of H Dental Hospital in Busan, who visited for the purpose of treatment in patients over 18 years of age and 151 patients, analyzed the data of the results of the selection criteria of the dental health care consumer. The gender of the subjects by cross-analysis, importance order of selection criteria for dental hospital were cleanness and hygiene(78.1%), equipment and facilities(60.9%), career and word-of-mouth(57.6%), staff kindness(57.6%), ease of use(32.5%) and scale of dental hospital(22.5%), it was appeared similar in comparison of cross-analysis and average-analysis. Major consideration of the study subjects to select criteria for dental hospital was pain control(31.8%), infection control(30.5%), cost(29.8%), time(7.9%) respectively. Gender as a primary consideration to the part of a man in pain control(39.2%), women cost(39.1%) was most common (p<0.001). In dental health care consumer to select criteria, clean hygiene and infection control at the heavily appeared to affect the direction of change in the consciousness of consumers seeking and it is necessary to improve hospital services for the dental care of their qualitative changes.

Effect of the Facility Satisfaction, Anxiety, Self-esteem, Stress, and Depression of the Elderly in Care Facilities on Their Life Satisfaction (요양시설 입소노인의 시설 만족도, 불안, 자아존중감, 스트레스, 우울이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined how the facility satisfaction, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, and depression of the elderly in care facilities affect their life satisfaction. The objects of the study were 271 elderly in 8 care facilities located in Seoul and associated areas. The results of a questionnaire, which was carried out from the 10th March to 25th August 2013, were analyzed. For data analysis, a t-test, one-way variance analysis, correlation analysis, and proof analysis on the SPSSWIN 18.0 program was conducted at the significance level of 5%. The analysis revealed the following. First, there were differences in the life satisfaction depending on age, sex, education level, and marital status. Second, life satisfaction was related to service satisfaction, medical service satisfaction, facility environment satisfaction, and self-esteem. Third, life satisfaction was higher if self-esteem, service satisfaction and facility environment satisfaction were higher, and if the family relationship stress was lower. Overall, self-esteem, service satisfaction, and facility environment satisfaction of the admitted elderly were positive influential factors of life satisfaction.

Employee Benefits and Organizational Commitment: The Mediating Effects of Life Satisfaction (기업복지 서비스 유형이 조직몰입에 끼치는 영향: 생활만족의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate how the employee benefits be related to the employees' organizational commitments through life satisfaction. There are four types of employee benefits: holidays, family-friendly benefits, financial supports for future, and insurance supports for medical care. The results show that 3 types of benefits(holidays, family-friendly benefits, financial supports for future) are significantly associated with life satisfaction. Holidays and family-friendly benefits are positively related to employees' organizational commitments, too. The findings further reveal that life satisfaction is full mediating factor between financial supports for future and organizational commitment. In case of holidays, family-friendly benefits, life satisfaction is partially mediated to organizational commitment. Findings are discussed in terms of the importance of life satisfaction through employee benefits.

  • With mobile computing, wireless sensor network and sensor technologies, ubiquitous computing services are being realized and could satisfy the feasibility of ubiquitous healthcare to everyone. This u-Healthcare service can improve life quality of human since medical service can be provided to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. To confirm the vision of u-Healthcare service, we've implemented a healthcare system for heart disease patient which is composed of two components. Front-end collects various signals such as temperature, blood pressure, SpO2, and electrocardiogram, etc. As a backend, medical information server accumulates sensing data and performs back-end processing. To simply transfer these sensing values to a medical team may be too trivial. So, we've designed a model based on context awareness for more improved medical service which is based on artificial neural network. Through rigid experiments, we could confirm that the proposed system can provide improved medical service.

  • 컴퓨터 이미지처리는 여러 분야에서 응용되고 있는데 어떤 특성을 만족하는 객체들의 계수를 자동으로 분류시키는 생물학분야, 편지봉투나 일반양식에 인쇄되어 있는 글자를 자동으로 검출하고 인식하며 초음파검사 혹은 X-Ray 촬영에서 이미지를 획득하여 향상시키는 의료분야, 지문 및 얼굴인식 등에 이용되고 있다. 최근 몇 년 동안 이미지인식, 형태론, 이미지데이터 압축에 관한 연구가 진전되면서 본 연구에서 형태론적인 기법을 사용하여 문자인식을 위한 전처리 혹은 후처리 단계에서 사용되는 이미지향상을 위해서 팽창, 침식, 골격화의 3단계를 적용하고 기존의 연구 방법과 비교하여 이미지획득 시간을 줄이고 이미지를 향상시켰다.
