A Study on the Differences between the Female Dancer's Perception of Marriage and Childbirth, Work and Family Parallelism, and Intention to continue Dance (여성무용인의 결혼 및 출산, 일과 가정 병행에 대한 인식, 무용지속의도간의 차이 연구 - 무용학과 대학생과 졸업생을 대상으로 -)

  • This purpose of this study was to examine the differences and correlations of marriage and childbirth intentions, work-family conflict, and continuing dance intentions for female dance students and graduated female dancers. The two groups showed significant differences in self-directed view of marriage, work-family conflict, and childbirth intentions. In the whole, there was a correlation among, several factors, and only family health had a significant effect on intention to continue dance.

Belief factors associated with breastfeeding intentions of single women: Based on the theory of planned behavior (계획적 행동이론을 적용한 미혼여성의 모유수유 의도와 관련된 신념요인)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the behavioral intentions of breastfeeding in single women using the theory of planned behavior. Methods: The questionnaires were distributed to 350 single women in her 20~30s, and 316 respondents were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Spearman's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The subjects showed strong intentions and favorable attitudes toward breastfeeding. The subjects were more favorably influenced by their mothers, siblings, friends, and coworkers who previously experienced breastfeeding than ones with no breastfeeding experiences. There were significant correlations between breastfeeding intention and attitudes (r = 0.321, p < 0.0001), subjective norms (r = 0.434, p < 0.0001), and perceived control (r = 0.307, p < 0.0001). However, regression analysis with two different age groups revealed that subjective norms (p < 0.0001) and perceived control (p < 0.001) contributed to the model of explaining breastfeeding intentions in subjects who were 25 years old or younger, whereas attitudes did not. In addition, subjects who were more than 25 years old showed that attitudes (p < 0.003) and subjective norms (p = 0.002) contributed to the model of explaining breastfeeding intentions while perceived control (p < 0.070) showed less contribution. Conclusion: These results suggest that the theory of planned behavior can be a useful tool to increase the rate of breastfeeding intentions in single women when designing educational materials, which requires consideration of age differences.

The comparative study on changes in job satisfaction and turnover intention according to the convergence mediating factors and the level of emotional labor in dental hygienists (치과위생사의 감정노동수준과 매개변수 융합에 따른 직무만족 및 이직의도 변화 비교 연구)

  • Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes in job satisfaction and turnover intention according to the level of Emotional labor and the mediating effect in dental hygienists. Higher levels of emotional labor resulted in lower levels of job satisfaction, as well as higher levels of turnover intention. We used the logistic regression analysis to compare change of job satisfaction, turnover intention according to the level of emotional labor. In logistic regression analyses, social support was the largest mediating factor between emotional labor and job satisfaction and the odds(Likely to with low job satisfaction) was down by 16% after adjustment for supervisor, colleague. In case of turnover intention, largest mediating factor were drinking, physical condition, supervisor, colleague and the odds(Likely to with high turnover intention) was down by 52% after adjustment for mediating factors. The results of this study were as follows. Emotional labor was negatively impact on job satisfaction and turnover intention. To increase the job satisfaction and lower the turnover intention, it is necessary to do more efforts to improve social support(supervisor and colleague) and management personal factor(drinking, physical condition) for the dental hygienists should be made to reduce such negative effects.

Agent's Activities based Intention Recognition Computing (에이전트 행동에 기반한 의도 인식 컴퓨팅)

  • Understanding agent's intent is an essential component of the human-computer interaction of ubiquitous computing. Because correct inference of subject's intention in ubiquitous computing system helps particularly to understand situations that involve collaboration among multiple agents or detection of situations that can pose a particular activity. This paper, inspired by people have a mechanism for interpreting one another's actions and for inferring the intentions and goals that underlie action, proposes an approach that allows a computing system to quickly recognize the intent of agents based on experience data acquired through prior capabilities of activities recognition. To proceed intention recognition, proposed method uses formulations of Hidden Markov Models (HMM) to model a system's prior experience and agents' action change, then makes for system infer intents in advance before the agent's actions are finalized while taking the perspective of the agent whose intent should be recognized. Quantitative validation of experimental results, while presenting an accurate rate, an early detection rate and a correct duration rate with detecting the intent of several people performing various activities, shows that proposed research contributes to implement effective intent recognition system.

Effect of PDA Guide Service on Users' Involvement, Satisfaction, and Reuse Intention -Focused on PDA Guide Service in Gyeongbokgung- (PDA를 활용한 안내서비스가 이용객의 몰입, 만족 및 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 -경복궁의 PDA안내서비스를 중심으로-)

  • Due to IT(information technology) development, various ITs have been applied to tourism. Since June 2010, PDA guide service was launched in Kyungbok palace. This study tried to find how effectively the service is operated by comparing flow, satisfaction and reuse intention of PDA users with those of who have received guide service by professional interpreter. The result indicates that those who have received professional interpretation showed to be more involved, satisfied and have more intention to reuse. The paper explored the composing factors of PDA guide service, which are 'interpretation', 'design', 'ease of use', and 'stability of operation'. Among these factors, interpretation was analyzed to be only factor what affects users' involvement and also most influential attribute explaining users' satisfaction and reuse intention. 'Interpretation', 'stability' and 'ease of use' are shown to have impact on satisfaction, while 'interpretation' and 'stability' have significant effect on users' reuse intention of PDA guide service. The operational implications from these results are suggested.

The Effects of Brand Personality of Internet Shopping Mall on Consumer Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit (인터넷 쇼핑몰의 브랜드 개성이 소비자 만족도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this following research is to verify influence of brand personality development of domestic Internet shopping malls on consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit. To achieve this purpose, a sample study was carried out on college students in Busan who made a purchase from Internet shopping malls during the past 6 months. In the concrete, 11 shopping malls including general shopping malls and open market that have a high market share were chosen as comparison targets. Materials were collected and analyzed through questionnaire survey. Empirical analysis results are shown as the following. Brand personality dimension of Internet shopping malls are 'competence sophistication', 'vitality', 'warmth' and 'reliability' etc. 'Warmth' and 'reliability' have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit. In particular, 'reliability' showed bigger influence on intention to revisit Internet shopping malls. In addition, consumer satisfaction showed a meaningful influence on intention to revisit. Specific strategy development is needed to strengthen 'warmth' and 'reliability' among brand personality dimensions.

  • A dialogue system includes various morphological analyses for recognizing a user's intention from the user's utterances. However, a user can represent various intentions via emotional states in addition to morphological expressions. Thus, a user's emotion recognition can analyze a user's intention in various manners. This paper presents a new method to automatically recognize a user's emotion for a dialogue system. For general emotions, we define nine categories using a psychological approach. For an optimal feature set, we organize a combination of sentential, a priori, and context features. Then, we employ a support vector machine (SVM) that has been widely used in various learning tasks to automatically classify a user's emotions. The experiment results show that our method has a 62.8% F-measure, 15% higher than the reference system.

A study of HTML5 Service Quality on Usage Intention of Smart Learning (HTML5 서비스 품질이 스마트러닝 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study identifies the effects of HTML5 service quality on the use intention of smart learning and present the policy implications through empirical studies. This study select assurance, reliability, tangibles, responsiveness, empathy as independent variables of HTML5 service quality and also select perceived usefulness, degree of perceived ease of use as parameters and select use intention of smart learning as dependent variables. The control variables such as learning devices, service, learning place, use age, use times are adapted. As a result of analysis by applying the structural equation model, it was estimated that the reliability of HTML5 service quality, tangibles affect negatively on perceived ease of use, but reliability, assurance, tangibles, empathy, responsiveness of HTML5 service affect positive impacts on perceived usefulness, and also certainty, empathy, responsiveness was identified as positive impacts on the perceived ease of use. It was proven that perceived ease of use effect positive on the perceived usefulness and also usefulness or ease to use have positive effects on the usage intention of users.

  • Importance of online community has been increased and also online community has been used as an important marketing tool. The purposes of this study are to construct an instrument to evaluate service quality of online community service and have a further discussion of the relationship between service quality dimensions, customer satisfaction, intention to move. According to our findings, among the determinants of service quality, empathy strongly influences both of consumer satisfaction and intention to move. The determinants of service quality which positively influences consumer satisfaction are empathy, tangibles and responsiveness. Empathy and assurance negatively influence intention to move. This means that the service quality of online community affects customer retention. Also, understanding and reflecting customer needs are more important.

Factors Affecting Intention to Quit Smoking of Current Smokers by Gender (성별에 따른 흡연자의 금연의도 관련 요인)

  • This study is to identify the factors related to smokers' intention to quit smoking and the differences between male and female smokers. We used data from Community Health Survey of 2017 and a total of 39,435 participated in the study. It was analyzed through IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 to conduct frequency analysis and binary logistic regression analysis. We found that gender, age, marital status, education, household income, subjective health, attempts to quit smoking, exposure to quit smoking campaigns, education to quit smoking, and number of cigarettes per day are related to the smokers' intention to quit smoking. For male smokers, education and household income are relevant to their intention to quit smoking, unlike female smokers. The findings suggest that smoking cessation campaigns and education are necessary for smokers with low level of education or income. Further, it indicates that gender differences should be taken into consideration upon intervention program.
