This survey was carried out to investigate the seroprevalence of antibodies to Neospora (N.) caninum in dairy cattle raised in Kangwon province in Korea. A total of 349 sera collected from dairy cattle were tested for N. caninum antibodies using an indirect immunofluorescent antibody test (IFAT). Ninety six (27.5%) dairy cattle were positive by IFAT. Seroprevalence of cows was 28.9% (91/315) and seroprevalence of boars was 14.7% (5/34). The seroprevalences of cows were increased according to the ages from 19.6% in cows less than 2 year-old to 50.0% in cows more than 7 year-old. Among the seroprevalences of cattle according to the raised areas, five counties or cities, Wheongsung was 34.6% (27/78), Wonju was 29.3% (46/157), Hongcheon was 28.9% (13/45), Chuncheon was 15.0% (3/20) and Cheolwon was 13.3% (2/15). It was proved that dairy cattle raised in Kangwon provinces exposed extensively and seriously to N. caninum.

등방상에서는 폴리파라페닐렌테레프탈아미드(PPD-T)와 히드록시 프로필 셀룰로오 스(HPC)가 비슷한 유변학적 거동을 보였다. 그러나 이방성에서는 네마틱상을 형성하는 PPD-T와 콜레스테릭상(또는 꼬인 네마틱상)을 형성하는 HPC는 상이한 유변학적 특성을 나타냈다. 이방상을 나타내는 임계농도(C*)이상의 농도에서 Herchel-Bulkey 모델에 의해 얻 어진 항복응력을 보면 HPC의 경우 농도에 관계없이 거의 일정한 값을 나타낸 반면PPD-T 의경우에는 농도증가와 더불어 항북응력값이 크게 증가하였다. 또한 PPD-T가 일\ulcorner거으로 HPC보다 큰값의 항복응력을 나타냈다. 진동수 1 rad/s 에서는 PPD-T와 HPCahen 탄성계 수 G＇/2G＂가 농도의 증가와 더불어 증가하엿다. 그러나 100rad/s 에서는 HPCdmlruddn 임계농도이상의 농도에서 농도증가와 더불어 탄성계수값이 단순감소한 반면 PPD-T의 경우 에는 포화농도(B-point)이상의 농도에서 농도증가와 더불어 탄성계수값이 계속적으로 증가 하였다. HPC의 경우 저장탄성률이 변형정도의 영향을 받지 않았으나 PPD-T의 경우에는 저장탄성률이 변형정도에 매우 민감하였다.

An acute enteric diseases accompanied with vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, pyrexia, dehydration and high mortality has occured in dogs throughout the country since June, 1981 in Korea. According to epidemiological and clinico-pathological studies on the total of 44 dogs admitted to the animal clinic in the college, the cases were tentatively diagnosed as a viral enteritis and the possibility of canine parvovirus as the etiological agent for the cases was discussed.

This study was to investigate categories of valuation and make the standard on developing valuation of natural dyes by Delphi method. The three-round Delphi tests were performed with 36 professional in the academic, the industrial, and the art field.'Dyeability property' meant levelling, adsorption, color diversity with mordant, color stability, 'marketability', possibility of mass production, economical efficiency, functionality, demand and supply of natural dyes, 'color', yield, beautiful color, value of color and 'color fastness', washing, perspiration and light fastness. Indigo, persimmon, cochineal, safflower and onion in dyeability property were evaluated highly, functional natural dyes in marketability, red and purple color ones except indigo in color and ones containing tannin in color fastness.

The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for the evaluation of the subjective fabric hand. In order to find out the appropriate method for the evaluation, bipolar adjectives were compared to unipolar adjectives. One hundred female university students we.e selected as judges. They assessed 9 fabrics using the 9 point scale system for both bipolar and unipolar adjectives. When using the bipola. scale, judges responded more consistently showing smaller deviation among their responses. The Judges seemed to understand the meanings of adjectives in the bipolar scale more clearly than in the unipolar scale. Unipolar scale has twice the number of questions than bipolar scale does. Therefore. judges often felt bored responding to the questions using unipolar adjectives. If the appropriate antonym can be found through verified method, bipolar scale seems to have more advantages than unipolar scale.

DSM Investment Programs are accomplished by KOGAS and KDHC, based on 'Article 15, Rational Energy Utilization Act'. By this act, suppliers are accomlishing DSM Investment Programs with much budget and contribute national DSM. However, there was no assessment systems for the quantitative evaluation of DSM Investment Programs in natural gas and district heating domains, yet. In order to overcome this problem, we constructed the assessment system which select quantitative programs, analyze impact factors, develop logic and equations and computerize this system. With this system, we can give objective and reliable output of DSM Investment Programs and evaluation tool to promote them efficiently. In this paper, we write the development process, method and utilization of this assessment system.

DSM(Demand Side Management) is reducing the load of energy supply utility through energy conservation and energy load distribution. This kind of program is necessary especially to our country which import above 97% of energy source. But the effectiveness of this kind program is not verified well even though our country is executing the various DSM programs. This study suggests M&V(Monitoring & Verification) guideline for DSM programs which are executing in Korea and shows the results which applied to verification of DSM programs.

The objectives of this study are to collect the population of each cooling system for gas and electric driven systems, and propose sample design for five cooling systems; ice storage systems, system air-conditioning system, turbo system as electric driven cooling systems, and absorption system and Gas driven Heat Pump (GHP) system as gas driven cooling systems. The sample design are carried out based on types of business, capacity, installation region and year. This study proposes criterion of the sample design for cooling systems for each energy source.

전자전화번호부 서비스는 HiTEL단말기 및 기존의 PC를 소유한 가입자의 전화번호 관련문의에 대해 신속, 정확한 정보를 제공하는 비디오텍스 응용시스팀으로서 통신처리시스팀, 서비스검색시스팀, 화일관리시스팀으로 나뉠 수 있다. 전화번호화일은 가입자에 따라 인명부, 업종상호부로 나뉘어 CISAM 방식의 화일로 구현하였으며, 상호인 경우 1:N 필드관계를 지원하여 하나의 전화번호에 대해 다수 업종의 지원이 가능하다. 전화가입자의 일일 변동자료의 처리및 화일의 갱신에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

Bimodal tram is able to run both general and special road. It has also the advantages of both public bus and subway which have the charateristics of easiness to approach and punctuality respectively. These advantages are accomplished by the cooperative communication between the control center and bimodal tram which is running with the fleet. This paper have investigated the requirement analysis and designing of the car operating computer system which have the functions of communication, broadcasting and display. car operating computer system communicates between bimodal tram and control center with wireless antenna. It can also transmit the location and status information of bimodal tram to control center for managing the bimodal tram fleet on road efficiently and economically.
