건축구조물의 탄소성 지진응답 해석용 입력지진동

  • 구조물의 지진응답해석에 사용하는 입력지진동 특성을 구성하는 요소로서, (a) 지진동의 최대 지반가속도치 (b) 지진동의 위상특성 (c) 지진동의 계속시간 (d) 지진동의 스펙트럼 특성 등을 들 수 있다. 그러나 이들 지진동을 구성하는 각 요소들이 구조물의 응답 및 손상에 직접 관련되어 지진동의 강도를 나타내는 척도로써 나타나는 것은 아니다. 그리고 이들 지진동 특성을 규정하는 각 인자와 구조물의 응답특성 및 구조물의 손상도와의 관계를 규명하는 것이 입력지진동의 설정에 있어서 매우 중요하다고 생각된다. 또한 탄성 응답특성과 탄소성 응답특성과의 관계를 규명하여, 탄성 응답스펙트럼이 구조물의 손상에 미치는 효과를 정량적으로 파악할 수 있다면 강지진에 대한 구조물의 내진설계는 보다 간편하게 할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 부지특성을 고려한 설계지반운동의 산정방법을 연구하였으며 그 해석결과를 지반 구조물의 내진설계에 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다 지진응답 해석시 사용되는 설계응답스펙트럼과 설계시간 이력등의 입력운동의 통제점 위치가 지반구조물 내진설동 지층내 암반운동 그리고 노두운동을 사용하는 방법으로 나눌 수 있고 이에 따라 작용 설계지진운동이 변화하므로 지반구조물의 경계조건에 적합한 방법을 사용하여야 한다.

Evaluation of Seismic Performance of Pile-supported Wharves with Batter Piles through Response Spectrum Analysis (응답스펙트럼해석을 통한 경사말뚝이 설치된 잔교식 안벽의 내진성능 평가)

  • The pile-supported wharf is the port structure in which the upper deck is supported by piles or columns. By installing batter piles in this structure, horizontal load such as earthquake loads can be partially delivered as axial forces. The codes suggests using the response spectrum analysis as a preliminary design method for seismic design of pile-supported wharf, and suggests modeling the piles using virtual fixed points or soil spring methods for this analysis. Recently, several studies have been conducted on pile-supported wharves composed of vertical piles to derive a modeling method that appropriately simulates the dynamic response of structures during response spectrum analysis. However, studies related to the response spectrum analysis of pile-supported wharves with batter piles are insufficient so far. Therefore, this study performed the dynamic centrifuge model test and response spectrum analysis to evaluate the seismic performance according to the modeling method of pile-supported wharves with batter piles. As a result of test and analysis, it is confirmed that modeling using the Terzaghi (1955) constant of horizontal subgrade reaction (nh) most appropriately simulates the actual response in the case of the pile-supported wharf with batter piles.

Analysis of Response Spectrum of Ground Motions from Odaesan Earthquake (2007/01/20) (오대산지진(2007/01/20) 관측자료를 이용한 응답스펙트럼 분석)

  • The response spectrum was studied using the observed pound motion from the Odaesan Earthquake (2007/01/20), and then the results were compared to the seismic design response spectra (Reg Guide 1.60) applied to the domestic nuclear power plants. For the response spectrum analysis, 21 horizontal and 8 vertical observed Pound motions were used for normalization and statistical analysis. The results showed that the MPOSD (Mean Plus One Sigma Standard Deviation) response spectra above 10 Hz revealed higher values than the design response spectra and those below 10 Hz revealed much lower values fur both horizontal and vertical response spectra. These results suggest that the response spectra (Reg. Guide 1.60), used as seismic design code for nuclear facilities in Korea, especially above about 10 Hz, should be reexamined fur apllication to the nuclear power plants structures operated in the Korean Peninsula.

  • 본 연구에서는 지반상태가 교량의 지진응답에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 다양한 지반모델 상의 교량모델에 대한 지진해석을 수행하고 그 결과를 비교.분석하였다 이를 위해서 기존의 교량시방서에서 분류된 네가지의 서로다른 지반종류를 대상으로 보다 세분된 지반모델 상에 위치하는 대표적인 교량에 대한 지진해석을 수행함으러써 첫째로는 각 지반 종류 상호간의 지진응답 차이의 정도를 시방서 값과 비교.분석하였으며 둘째로는 동일 지반으로 분류되는 상이한 두 지반간의 응답차이의 정도를 확인하였다 해석을 위해서는 시방서에서 제시된 두가지 방법 즉 단일모드 스펙트럼해석법과 다중모드 스펙트럼해석법을 사용하였으며 이들 결과를 별도로 작성된 인공시간이력을 입력으로 하는 시간이력해석법을 사용한 결과와 비교.분석하였다 시간이력해석법에서는 진동수에 무관한 지반임피던스함수를 이용하는 시간영역해석법을 사용하였다 해석결과 시방서에서 제시한 단일모드 및 다중모드 스펙트럼해석방법은 일반적으로 안전측의 지반-구조물 상호작용 해석결과를 주는 것으로 확인되었다 그러나 유연성이 큰 지반 상의 구조물에대한 지진해석을 위한 해석모델 작성시에는 지반의 유연성이 반드시 고려되어야 하며 특히 낙교방지를 위한 변위는 지반의 유연성을 고려한 정밀해석법에 의한 계산이 필수적으로 요구됨을 확인하였다.

Modification of Response Displacement Method for Seismic Design of Underground Structures under Domestic Conditions (국내 특성이 반영된 지하구조물의 내진설계를 위한 수정응답변위법)

  • In this study. the Modified Response Displacement Method(MRDM) for seismic design of underground box-type structures is proposed. Firstly, to investigate the applicability of the conventional RDM, various parametric studies are performed according to buried depth and soil conditions. Results from the conventional RDM are compared with those of time history analysis in terms of the maximum bending moment and relative displacement. The comparison shows that the velocity response spectrum and the determination method of foundation modulus which significantly influence the accuracy of RDM should be modified. Thus, the modified velocity response spectrum and the new determination method of foundation modulus are proposed under consideration of domestic conditions. In order to demonstrate the accuracy and validity of the proposed MRDM numerical analyses are performed according to different parameters such as depth of base rock, height and width of box, buried depth and soil condition. the comparison with the results of the time history analysis verifies the feasibility of the proposed MRDM for the seismic analysis.

  • The apparent source spectrum of the Fukuoka earthquake is estimated at the seismic basement by removing from the observed spectra at Korean seismic stations the path and site responses that were previously revealed through inversion process applied to large spectral D/B accumulated until 2004. The approximate source spectrum is also estimated by using data recorded near the epicenter from various Japanese seismic networks and compared with the Korean source spectrum.   • In this paper the response factor is investigated for middle and small size-RC slab aged bridges. The response factor consists of static and dynamic response factors and is a main parameter in the frequency based-bridge load carrying capacity prediction model. Static and dynamic response factors are determined based on the frequency variation and the impact factor variation respectively between current and previous (or design) states of bridges. Here, the impact factor variation is figured out using the impact factor response spectrum which provides the impact factor according to the natural frequency of bridges. In this study, four actual RC slab bridges aged over 30 years after construction are considered and their span length is 12m. The dynamic loading test in field using a dump truck and eigenvalue analysis with FE models are conducted to identify the current and previous (or design) state-natural frequencies of the bridges, respectively. For more realistic considerations in the moving loading situation, the impact factor response spectrum is developed based on tri-axle moving loads representing the dump truck load distribution and various supporting conditions such as simply supported and both ends fixed conditions. From the results, the response factor is widely ranged from 0.21to 0.91, showing that the static response factor contributes significantly on the results while the dynamic response factor has a small effect on the result. Compared to the results obtained from the impact factor response spectrum based on the single axle-simply supported condition, the maximum percentage difference of the response factors is below 3.2% only.
