An Analysis of Internal & External Acoustic Fields by Using FEM (유한요소법을 이용한 내부 및 외부 음향장 해석)

  • 소음의 발생 원인은 공기역학적 측면과 구조적 측면으로 나누어지는데, 실제 로는 유동장에서 발생되는 음원과 구조물에서 발생되는 진동과의 상호 간섭 에 의해 보다 복잡한 형태로 발생된다. 음장 문제를 두가지 범주로 구분하면 첫째는 음원과 구조물과의 상호교란에 의한 산란문제(Scattering)와 둘째로 구조물의 자체 진동에 의한 음의 전파현상과 구조물내부에 회전체와 같은 음원이 존재하는 경우에 음의 전파를 관측하는 방사문제(Radiation)가 있다. 실제로 산업용 터빈이나 비행기 엔진 흡입구에서 발생되는 소음, 또는 자동 차의 배기구를 통해 발생되는 소음 그리고 엔진의 진동에 의한 구조적 소음, 기타 가전제품의 회전체(Fan & Motor)에 의한 소음은 방사(Radiation)의 문 제로서 중요 관심 과제이다 수치적 기법으로 근래에 많이 사용하는 방법으 로 BEM(경계요소법), FEM(유한요소법), FDM(유한차분법)이 있는데 본 연 구에서는 유한요소법을 이용하기로 한다. 지금까지는 주로 BEM을 통해서 Far-Field의 음향장을 해석하였지만 복잡한 형상을 갖는 구조물내부에서의 음향장 변화나 구조물 내부에 음원이 존재하는 경우 또는 구조물 자체가 갖 는 물리적 특성치 변화 즉 물체표면에서의 부분 진동문제의 음향장 해석에 있어서 가장 잘 대체해 나갈 수 있는 방법이 유한 요소법이라고 여겨진다. 본 연구에서는 2차원 또는 기하학적으로 축대칭인 3차원 Duct내부에 음원이 존재하는 경우 음원전파에 따른 Near-field와 far-field에서 음의 방향성을 예측하기 위해 먼저 기본적인 유한요소법에 의한 Robin 경계조건을 사용하 여 계산된 결과와 Infinite Element를 도입하여 계산할 결과를 비교하여, Infinite Element가 보다 효율적이며 타당한 결과를 얻음을 확인해 보기로 한다.다 복합적인 측면에서 치료에 임하여야 할 것으로 사료된다. with such configuration.trap with 2.88[eV] deep of injected space charge from the chathode in the crystaline regions. Time-domain Sound Event Detection Algorithm Using Deep Neural Network (심층신경망을 이용한 시간 영역 음향 이벤트 검출 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposes a time-domain sound event detection algorithm using DNN (Deep Neural Network). In this system, time domain sound waveform data which is not converted into the frequency domain is used as input to the DNN. The overall structure uses CRNN structure, and GLU, ResNet, and Squeeze-and-excitation blocks are applied. And proposed structure uses structure that considers features extracted from several layers together. In addition, under the assumption that it is practically difficult to obtain training data with strong labels, this study conducted training using a small number of weakly labeled training data and a large number of unlabeled training data. To efficiently use a small number of training data, the training data applied data augmentation methods such as time stretching, pitch change, DRC (dynamic range compression), and block mixing. Unlabeled data was supplemented with insufficient training data by attaching a pseudo-label. In the case of using the neural network and the data augmentation method proposed in this paper, the sound event detection performance is improved by about 6 %(based on the f-score), compared with the case where the neural network of the CRNN structure is used by training in the conventional method.

Pruning Methodology for Reducing the Size of Speech DB for Corpus-based TTS Systems (코퍼스 기반 음성합성기의 데이터베이스 축소 방법)

  • Because of their human-like synthesized speech quality, recently Corpus-Based Text-To-Speech(CB-TTS) have been actively studied worldwide. However, due to their large size speech database (DB), their application is very restricted. In this paper we propose and evaluate three DB reduction algorithms to which are designed to solve the above drawback. The first method is based on a K-means clustering approach, which selects k-representatives among multiple instances. The second method is keeping only those unit instances that are selected during synthesis, using a domain-restricted text as input to the synthesizer. The third method is a kind of hybrid approach of the above two methods and is using a large text as input in the system. After synthesizing the given sentences, the used unit instances and their occurrence information is extracted. As next step a modified K-means clustering is applied, which takes into account also the occurrence information of the selected unit instances, Finally we compare three pruning methods by evaluating the synthesized speech quality for the similar DB reduction rate, Based on perceptual listening tests, we concluded that the last method shows the best performance among three algorithms. More than this, the results show that the last method is able to reduce DB size without speech quality looses.

Development of Loop Filter Design of Plucked String Instruments (개선된 발현악기의 루프 필터 설계 방법)

  • This paper describes a development of a loop filter design in a physical modeling of the plucked string instrument. The conventional method proposed by V$\"{a}$lim$\"{a}$ki cannot estimate right parameters if a sound has either very short sustain or no sustain. In order to overcome this drawback, we propose the use of the decay region and 5 to 20 harmonics of the sound in the estimation of loop filter parameters. The most appropriate filter coefficient is chosen by frequency signal to noise ratio. To verify the performance of the proposed method, the guitar, gayageum and geomungo were selected as the target because they have different shape, structure, and material of strings. Regardless of the duration of harmonics, the proposed method was able to estimate the loop filter parameters representing frequency-dependent damping of harmonics.

A study on the identification of underwater propeller singing phenomenon (수중 프로펠러 명음 현상의 규명에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is a study on the generation mechanism of propeller singing based on the cavitation tunnel test, underwater impact test, finite element analysis and computational flow analysis for the model propeller. A wire screen mesh, a propeller and a rudder were installed to simulate ship stern flow, and occurrence and disappearance of propeller singing phenomenon were measured by hydrophone and accelerometer. The natural frequencies of propeller blades were predicted through finite element analysis and verified by contact and non-contact impact tests. The flow velocity and effective angle of attack for each section of the propeller blades were calculated using RANS (Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes) equation-based computational fluid analysis. Using the high resolution analysis based on detached eddy simulation, the vortex shedding frequency calculation was performed. The numerical predicted vortex shedding frequency was confirmed to be consistent with the singing frequency and blade natural frequency measured by the model test.

  • Recently, due to the increasing interests in deep sea development, all possible efforts to the development of underwater unmanned working vehicles such as AUV(Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) or underwater robot are exerted. This paper proposes a new efficient acoustic-based underwater image data communication system, which ensures a certain level of maximum throughput regardless of the propagation delay of ultrasonic and allowsfast data transmission through the multiple ultrasonic communication channel. Proposed system consists of an acoustic transducer which operates at 136kHz center frequency and it's 10kHz bandwidth, pre-amplifier, $\pi/4 QPSK$(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation/demodu-lation method, image compressing method using JPEG technique and modified Stop & Wait protocol. The experimental result of the system make it possible to transfer the underwater image as a high throughput at the basin test. The results of test are also verified which allows to desirable transmission performance compared with the existing developed system and the possibility to put the practical use of survey and investigation in the water.

The Effects of Empathy on Self-Esteem and Subjective Well-Being (공감 (Empathy)이 자기존중감과 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향)

  • Previous studies have investigated the effect of empathy on relations. However, there have been few studies that found the effect of empathy on subjective well-being. This study aimed to investigate relations between empathy and subjective well-being. It was hypothesized that empathy had effects on subjective well-being in the mediation of self-esteem. Heo, J.H. and Lee, C.J. (2010) investigated the psychometric properties of EQ. However they did not do confirmatory analysis. So confirmatory analysis needs to be done in this study. Data was collected from 421 College student (male 192, female 225), and analyzed by SEM and path analysis. Results revealed that 3 factors model of EQ was proper, and EQ had effects on subjective well-being in the mediation of self-esteem. This suggested that empathy be a very important factor in our culture, and fulfillment of cultural task enhance self-esteem, which improve subjectve well-being. And cultural features should be considered in the study of empathy.

The Transfer Effects of Perceptual Learning by Japanese of Korean Alveolar Stop Consonants (일본인의 한국어 치경폐쇄음 지각 학습의 전이효과)

  • 본 연구는 한국어를 학습한 경험이 없는 일본인의 한국어 치경폐쇄음 세 음소 범주(/ㄷ/, /ㄸ/, /ㅌ/)에 대한 지각 학습이 양순폐쇄음 세 음소(/ㅂ/. /ㅃ/, /ㅍ/) 지각에 미치는 효과를 검토하였다. 김윤현과 김정오 (2005)는 일본인들이 지각 학습과제에서 한국어 치경폐쇄음 세 범주를 구분할 때 기식성. 긴장성과 같은 변별 자질에 선택주의 하게 됨을 시사하는 결과를 얻었다. 치경음에 대한 지각 학습으로 적절한 단서에 선택주의 하게 되었다면, 같은 지각 차원에 따라 세 범주로 구분되는 양순음의 경우에도 치경폐쇄음 학습 후 음성자극들을 옳게 범주화를 할 것이다. 실험 결과, 치경폐쇄음 자극(/다/, /따/, /타/)만으로 이루어진 동일-상이판단 학습 과제에서 치경폐쇄음 파악의 정확율은 29.1%(표준오차=3.02) 증가하였고, 조음 위치의 변화에 따른 음향적 차이에도 불구하고 양순폐쇄음의 정반응율도 15.8%(표준오차=3.27)의 향상을 보였다. 이 전이효과는 치경음 지각 학습 때문에 일본인들이 폐쇄음의 세 음소 범주를 구분하는 적절한 지각 차원에 선택주의하게 되었음을 시사한다.

The Whereabout of the Bell Imperial-Dragon-Temple (皇龍寺 49萬소斤 巨鐘은 어디로)

  • Recently, the search for the whereabout of the huge Bell Imperial-Dragon-Temple becomes a great issue. If it happens to be found out and ringing at the original location of the Bell in Kyungjoo City, the Bell might be a great national treasure and lasting to the eternity with her beautiful sound. The Bell was so huge that the total weight of the raw material put into crucibles was 497,581 Kun (289 tons), the shoulder weight 10.3 Chuk (3.14 m) and the maximum thickness 9 Chon (27.4 cm). The Bell was erected in 754 in Shilla Dynasty and was assumed to be lost during the war time by the 3rd invasion of Mongolians (1235~8). However, the author found out that the huge Bell was recast into a new small Bell (8.1 ton) in 1103 by the people of Koryu Dynasty and then the new small Bell was hung in the same position as in the original huge Bell. 135 years later, the new small Bell was carried out by Mongolian forces as a spoil of war from Kyungjoo to the Bay Tonghaegoo, through the saddle point of Mountain Toham, Yangbuk and Riber Great Bell. At the bay, Mongolian forces wished to bring back the Bell to Mongolia by a ship, but they dropped the Bell into the sea by accident. So, if this was the case, the bell at the seabed may be the new small bell (7.4 ton) but not the original huge Bell (41.0 ton) For the evaluation of missing data of the two bells, the author sets up two equations relating all the dimensions and their weights, which seems to be a useful guide to the design of bells. The results of the evaluation of the Bells are as follows.   • This study aims to establish an efficient future technology development strategy in the information and telecommunications industry by grasping related technology trends and fusion complexity through an analysis based on standard patents. Analyzing 1,983 patents related to the information and telecommunications industry identified the trends in major patent applicants and detailed technologies in the world. In addition, technology trends were investigated through keyword analysis to examine the degree of complexity in information and communications technology, confirming the direction of research in information technology. Electronic component and wireless communications fields have relatively few standard patents, but they are highly convergent with other industrial technologies. Computer information processes and communication and broadcasting technologies are highly related to each other, so they can be used as standard fusion technologies in standard patents. In addition, standardization activities in optical and image/sound devices are found to be high.
