크루즈선박용 허니컴 패널의 차음 성능 해석 (Analysis of Sound Insulation Performance of Honeycomb Composite Panels for Cruise Ships)

  • 본 연구에서는 허니컴 패널의 지배방정식을 이용하여 경계행렬식을 유도하였고, 이를 전달행렬법에 적용하여 허니컴 패널을 적용한 차음패널에 대한 해석 이론을 정립하였다. 또한, 허니컴 패널을 선박용 차음패널의 표면재로 적용하여 차음성능을 분석하였고, 철판을 표면재로 적용한 기존의 선박용 차음패널과 차음성능을 무게 당 감음량 기준으로 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 허니컴 패널의 차음성능이 0.35 mm 철판에 비해 STC 기준으로 2dB 높게 나와 허니컴 패널을 적용한 차음패널의 차음성능이 철판을 사용한 차음패널에 비해 무게 당 감음량을 고려할 시 우수하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 허니컴 패널을 표면재로 사용한 차음패널의 면밀도가 철판을 사용한 차음패널에 비해 약 $5.2kg/m^2$ 가볍게 나타났고, 이는 약 31.7 % 무게 감소를 의미한다.

  • Recently, regulations of the government and concerns of people give rise to the interest in exhaust and intake noise of passenger car as much as other vehicles. In these demands, performance prediction software with hybrid method was developed at first. Secondly, robust design was used for improving the noise reduction capacity of intake system with the performance prediction software. On the basis of the existing design, length and radios of each component that was thought to effect on the capacity of intake system was selected. The factors were arranged by using L18 table of orthogonal array and optimum value was obtained.

  • The intake noise, a major source of vehicle noises, has rapidly become a noticeable, and has been studied to reduce the level. Traditionally, the intake system has been developed through a experiment, namely, the trial and error process. This approach requires very high cost and long time consuming to develop the systm. Recently, FEM and BEM are becoming useful in analysis of the intake system, and the results of analysis are very valid. But because this techniques also require high cost and long analysis time, this technique is generally not practical tool at the early stage of the development. In this study, the software was developed to predict and analyze the acoustic characteristics of the intake system. It was based on the Transfer Matrix Method and operated to analyze a simplified intake system in a personal computer. It can be used early in the design stage of development of the intake system. This study presented a improvement to reduce the level of the intake noise, which modified the specification of the intake system. And the improvement were verified by NIT/SYSNOISE, FE analysis commercial software, and testing a prototype.

전달행렬법에 의한 다공질 흡음재료의 음향특성 연구 (Study on the Acoustic Properties of Porous Materials by Using Acoustical Transfer Matrix)

  • 본 연구에서는 다공질 흡음재료 중 closed cell 구조를 갖는 발포수지재료(Foamed Material)에 음(sound)이 입사할 때 발생하는 흡음현상을 보다 정확히 예측하기 위해서 다공질 흡음재료에 대한 Biot 이론에 근거한 Allard의 모델링기법[4]을 이용하여 해석 프로그램을 개발하였고, 이를 이용하여 다공질 흡음재료가 단층(single layer)일 때 이 재료의 Surface Impedance와 흡음률(Absorption Coefficient)을 예측하고, 물성치(parameters)변화에 따른 다공질 흡음재료의 흡음특성을 분석하였으며, 이 재료가 자동차 제조시 사용되는 압연강판(rolled steel piate)에 부착되었을 때의 투과손실(Transmission Loss)을 예측하였고, 또한 다공질 흡음재료는 중고주파 대역의 음에 대한 흡음특성은 좋지만 저주파 대역의 음에 대한 흡음특성은 좋지 않으므로 흡음 재료의 저주파 대역의 흡음특성을 향상시키기 위해서 2층(two layers)으로 하였을 때의 흡음특성을 분석하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 자동차 제조시 사용되어지는 다공질 흡음재료는 물론 산업용기계나 건축용등 여러 분야에서 사용되어지는 다공질 흡음재료의 흡음특성 분석에 응용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

  • The sound absorption coefficients for multiple layer perforated plate systems containing several companments with airspaces and porous absorbing materials are estimated using the transfer matrix method developed in the previous paper. The absorption coefficients from transfer matrix method agree well with the values measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method fur various combinations of perforated Plates, airspaces or porous materials. 다중 다공판 시스템의 흡음성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Acoustic Absorption of Multiple Layer Perforated Panel Systems)

  • The acoustic absorption of multiple layer perforated panel systems is largely reduced at the anti-resonance frequency. In order to improve the acoustic absorption at the anti-resonance frequency, the sound absorbing materials are inserted between perforated panels. By the insertion of absorbing materials, it is found that the multiple layer perforated panel system has better acoustic absorption at the anti-resonance frequency and more broadband frequency. Besides, it is shown that the absorption coefficients from the transfer matrix method agree well with the values measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method for various combinations of perforated panels, airspaces or sound absorbing materials.

배관계의 가스누설탐지를 위한 음향모델 연구 (A Study on an Acoustical Model for Gas Leak Detection in a Pipeline)

  • An acoustical model for detecting the leak location in a buried gas pipeline has been developed. This model is divided into an experimental model for sound diagnosis, and a theoretical model for sound prediction, which is based on the transfer matrix method, representing the sound pressure and the volume velocity as state variables. The power spectrum is measured by attaching only one microphone to the closed end pipe. It has been shown that the response magnitude of acoustic pressure signals calculated by the acoustical model depends upon the thickness and diameter of a pinhole. The validity for the acoustical model has been verified through a comparison between the measured and calculated results.

헬름홀츠 공명기의 흡음성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Acoustic Absorption Performance of a Helmholtz Resonator)

  • A helmholtz resonator has been widely used for the purpose of suppressing the low frequency noises propagated from various heat and fluid machineries. However, the conventional resonator has demerits that the effective absorption bandwidth is narrow and the absorption performance is not so outstanding in the only limited configurations of neck and cavity as well. In order to overcome these problems, in this paper, a resonator with perforated neck is proposed. The absorption performances of the resonator are measured by two-microphone method and estimated by transfer matrix method. The measured values of normal absorption coefficients agree well with the estimated values. By introducing the perforated plates at the neck of a resonator, it is shown that the absorption performance have been significantly improved.

이중점근 근사법을 이용한 조화가진 구조물의 방사소음 예측 (Prediction of the Radiated Noise of a Structure Excited by Harmonic Force Using the Doubly Asymptotic Approximation)

  • This paper presents an approach of predicting the radiated noise due to the structural vibration by internal harmonic forces using the doubly asymptotic approximation (DAA). Acoustic transfer vector is derived from the Helmholtz integral equation and the fluid-structure interaction relation of DAA. Numerical results and analytical results of radiated noise for a cylindrical shell were compared and showed that they were consistent in most of frequencies and radiation directions, but showed errors in some radiated directions in the mid-frequency region. Despite these errors, the prediction method will be suitable for practical radiated noise prediction.
