  • 본 논문은 딥러닝 학습을 통한 객체(편의점제품) 인식 시스템을 소개한다. 편의점 내에서 시각장애인의 접근성인 매우 떨어지고 있다. 그나마 점자가 있는 제품은 음료수 제품이지만 제품 이름이 아닌 범주로 표현하고 있어 원하는 제품 구매를 어렵게 한다. 본 논문에서는 YOLOv5를 통한 딥러닝 학습을 사용하여 정확한 제품을 시각장애인에게 제공할 수 있는 애플리케이션을 개발했다. 사용한 학습데이터 세트는 제품을 직접 찍어 확보했으며, 국내 11개 제품을 포함한다. 학습데이터 세트는 총 23,814장을 사용했으며, 결과 정확도를 나타내는 mAP_0.5:0.95 는 약 0.9790의 성능을 보였다.

Major Dishes Contributing Absolute and Between-Person Sodium Intake Variations in University Students in Gyeonggi-do (경기지역 일부 대학생에서 나트륨의 주요 기여 음식과 변이 음식)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate dietary sodium sources at the dish level in 228 university students (71 men, 157 women) in Gyeonggi-do. Daily sodium intake was estimated from a validated 125-dish frequency questionnaire. In men, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, and sodium intake were significantly higher than in women. Men showed higher sodium intake from soups, fish or shellfish dishes, meat dishes, and soybean dishes than women. The dishes that most largely contributed to daily sodium intake were Napa cabbage kimchi and ramen in both men and women. In addition, relatively higher amounts of sodium from ramen were consumed in men, whereas cookies were the 5th highest sodium source in women. In both men and women, the high sodium intake groups consumed more sodium from kimchi, dishes cooked with kimchi, dishes with broth, and salted mackerel than the low sodium intake group. There were significant differences in major dishes contributing to between-person sodium intake variations between men and women. Short rib soup for men and Korean sausage for women were the largest contributors to sodium variations, which are common dishes served with salt. Men consumed more drinks and also more sodium from drinks than women. In conclusion, there were significant differences in major dishes contributing to absolute and between-person sodium intake variations in university students between men and women. Further studies on effects of gender on blood pressure, sodium and drink intake, and obesity are necessary.

STUDY ON THE PRIMARY TOOTH ENAMEL EROSION CAUSED BY CHILDREN BEVERAGE (어린이 음료수에 의한 유치 법랑질 침식에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the acidity of beverages that are sold for children in the market and to estimate by experiment the degree of the enamel erosion of deciduous teeth that is attributed to the beverages. The pH value of children beverages among top sale list in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were measured. And 7 beverages with the pH value of 3.5 or lower were selected. The enamel erosion of deciduous teeth by the children beverages for 1, 5, 10, and 30 minutes respectively was examined. The results were as follows: 1. The acidity of most of the children beverages examined in this study was the pH level of 5.5 or lower that can cause the tooth erosion. 2. The microhardness value of the enamel of deciduous teeth was lower as exposing it to children beverages. The reduction of surface microhardness value was significant from 1 minute after the exposure, and the reduction was continuously observed until 30 minutes has passed. 3. The higher the acidity of beverages, the larger the reduction in microhardness value caused after the exposure of 30 minutes to the beverages. There was no significant relation between the acidity of beverages and the reduction rate of surface microhardness value. The other factors such as calcium, phosphorus, and fluorine or buffering of the beverages may affect the enamel erosion.

Analysis of Occupational Disease Caused by Oral Health Behavior of Some Dental Hygiene Students (일부 치위생과 학생의 구강건강행위와 구강병 발생요인 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between oral health behaviors and the results of the oral dysentery test for dental hygienists and students at Gyeonggi - do and Chungcheongnam - do. Self - filling questionnaires and oral diseases. The following conclusions were obtained. The most common toothbrushing frequency was three times a day (60.2%), and the most dominant frequency of eating between meals was once or less(49.7%). The most common snack that they had was stickiness-free sweetened food(66.5%), and the type of beverage that they had the most was sweetened beverages(49.7%). The average stimulated saliva flow rate was 9.41ml, and they got a mean of 9.52 in the buffering capacity of saliva. The average glucose clearance time was a mean of 12.02. When they took a streptococcus mutans colony count test, 80.1 percent belonged to the low-risk group(<$10^5$), and 82.6 percent belonged to the low-risk group(<$10^5$) when a lactobacillus test was conducted. There was a positive correlation between the irritant saliva fraction and the non-irritating saliva and saliva buffering ability. In the fluoride application experience, the glucose retention time was 10.66 minutes and the fluoride application experience was 13.33 minutes. (P = .008). The importance of oral health, which is directly linked to general health, should be emphasized in order to improve the quality of life as well as the life expectancy. For oral health, which is directly linked to systemic health, it is necessary to provide opportunities for oral health education that can be easily accessed by the public, and to continuously develop and provide oral health care programs for a lifetime.

Technical Evaluation of MBR Process for the Wastewater Treatment of Beverage Fabrication Processes (음료수 제조 공정 폐수의 MBR 처리 기술 평가)

  • Manufacturing facility for non-alcoholic drink, the parts of the food industry, disposes wastewater which includes high organic concentration and low nitrogen, phosphorus concentration. For this kind of wastewater, the treatment plant consists mainly of aerobic reactor and chemical coagulation process. And sand-filter or activated carbon process is normally installed further. However, aerobic reactor must have long HRT to treat high concentration of organic contaminant included in this wastewater, so the large site area is required. And settling tank which is normally applied for wastewater treatment facility has some problems such as water quality degradation caused by the sludge spill. To solve these problems, we applied MBR system for the wastewater. And the MBR pilot plant was installed nearby the wastewater treatment facility of W food factory and operated during long term to evaluate treatment efficiency. This plant was operated about 3 months and than the result was 97% of organic removal rate on conditions of flow rate $20m^3/day$, HRT 29 hr, recycle 4Q. However, contaminant removal ratio of bio-reactor decreased and TMP of membrane increased rapidly on more conditions.

미국에서 치아우식증의 예방과 관리를 위한 불소사용의 권장사항

  • 불소의 적절한 활용을 통하여 미국인들의 구강건강이 확실하게 증진되었으며 수돗물의 인공적인 불소참가 사업은 지난 2000년 동안에 건강과학이 이룩한 가장 획기적인 건강관리 예방사업으로 인정되었다. 음료수에 불소를 적정량 첨가하여 치아우식증을 퇴치하기 위하여 적극적 예방책을 마련함으로써 치과의학의 과학적인 연구의 기틀을 확고히 하여 치과의학이 현대 건강과학의 지도적 위치를 확보하는 과정에 중요한 임무를 담당했다. 그러므로 미국의 중앙건강관리 및 예방 연구소는 정기적으로 불소사용과 관련된 연구 업적들에 대하여 관련 분야의 세계적인 학자들로 하여금 조리 정연하게 주기적으로 분석 검토하여 구강건강을 향상시킬수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위하여 불소사용법에 대한 안내서를 마련하고 있다. 미국 중앙 질병 관리 및 예방연구소는 평생을 불소에 관한 연구를 하고 있는 11명의 전문가들과 긴밀한 연락을 취하면서 22명의 과학자들과 함께 그 동안에 발표된 관계문헌 270개를 분석 검토하여 2년동안에 걸쳐 작성한 최근의 불소 사용 안내서를 지난 2001년 8월 17일 발표했다. 그 내용이 중요하고 한국의 치과의사들에게 큰 도움이 되리라고 확신하기 때문이다. CDC의 허락을 받고 한글판을 작성하게 되었다. 한국의 관심 있는 독자들의 이해를 돕기 위하여 더욱 자세한 내용을 알고자 하는 분들이 실무진에 참여한 연구자들 및 과학자들과 직접 접촉할 수 있도록 그들의 직책과 현재의 소속을 밝혔으며 이 안내서에 사용된 문헌 270개 참고문헌 전체를 소개한다

Frequency control method of ozonator power supply (오존발생기 구동장치의 주파수제어에 관한 연구)

  • The characteristics of ozone generator targeted for air or water sterilizing in the vessel utilizing the surface corona discharge between the electrodes on the ceramic substrate was investigated by using the frequency control method. The frequency control was achieved by controlling the degree of resonance between the secondary winding inductance of transformer and the electrode capacitance of ceramic discharge plate, and the range of control was found to be 5 times of discharge current. This frequency control method showed the efficiency of 28 mP ozone generation and the stability within 3.4 % when the input voltage was varied within 40% range. The frequency control method is regarded to be more efficient way of corona discharge control compared to the conventional on/off control or voltage control methods.

A Study on the Change of Serum Components in Rats by Feeding the Diet with Soft Drink (시판(市販) 음료수(飮料水)가 백서(白鼠) 혈청내(血淸內) 성분(成分)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • This experiment was designed to observe some influence on the serum components in rats by feeding basal diet (Protein contents: 20.0%; lipid contents: 3.5%) with soft water (Water, Carbonated cider, Cola and Fanta). Fourty male Albino rats were used as the experimental animals and the subjects were devided into four feeding group and each group was fed on the corresponding diet for six weeks. The contents of protein, lipid and cholesterol were determined in their serum. The obtained results are summarized as follows. 1) The protein contents in the serum was decreased by the feeding of the Carbonated cider, Cola and Fanta compared with Water experimental group. 2) The lipid contents in the serum was similar to each feeding experimental group. 3) The total cholesterol and ester form cholesterol in the serum were decreased by the feeding of the Carbonated cider compared with Water, but were similar to the feeding of the Cola and Fanta.

  • The early change observed in lead-induced neurophathy in the rat was Schwann cell swelling. In order to quantify this cell swelling, Schwann cell thickness and major diameter of the nucleus were measured using tranverse section with associated myelinated fiber of sciatic nerves. Group I rats were intoxicated with 0.5% lead acetate in the drinking water for 30 days; group II animals were treated as in group I and then restored to normal laboratory conditions for 30 days; and group III were controls. The results showed that the cell sizes were significantly greater in intoxicated animals, compared with control, and the cell sizes of group II did not differ significantly from control rats.
