디자인에 있어서 율동요소는 제품디자인에 대한 소비자의 심미적 반응에 영향을 미치는 조형요소의 하나라는 점이 이론 및 실무적으로 폭 넓게 받아들여지고 있다하더라도, 다른 조형요소에 비하여 율동요소에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 많은 연구가 이루어지지 못하였다. 또한 율동요소에 대한 기존 연구들도 율동요소가 제품디자인에 있어서 심미성 요소의 하나라는 단순한 내용을 전개하고 있을 뿐 제품디자인에 어떻게 적용되어져야 하는지에 대한 통찰력을 제공해 주지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제품디자인에 있어서 율동감의 표현이 가격수준과 브랜드 위계수준에 따라 어떻게 소비자의 심미적 반응에 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 검토하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 율동감은 분명히 심미성에 영향을 미치고 있는 요소인 것으로 나타나고 있다. 또한 율동감의 표현은 낮은 가격수준의 제품에서는 브랜드 위계수준과 상관없이 소비자의 심미적 반응을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이와는 달리 높은 가격수준의 제품에서는 율동감의 표현이 인지적 위험으로 인해 소비자의 심미적 반응을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 브랜드 위계수준이 높은 경우에는, 인지적 위험과 브랜드 명성과의 상쇄관계로 인하여 율동감의 표현이 소비자의 심미적 반응을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 디자이너들이 율동감 요소를 어떻게 이해하여야 하는지에 대한 시사점을 제공해 준다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to consider the formative characteristics of dance sports from such points of view as shapes, colors, material and decorations, and to examine artistic characteristics that are expressed through those elements. As a result, this study shows five artistic characteristics as follows; First, rhythmic characteristic is expressed with repeat of lines that is formed by pleats, shirring or gather, with duplication of ruffle's wave, with gradation of colors, with Moire-effect that is generated with overlap of see-through material, with glossy material that reflects lights to a great extent, with fringe. Second, bodily characteristic emphasizes the beauty of human bodies through direct or indirect body exposure by way of cut-and-open, see-throughness or close adhesion. Third, decorative characteristic is shown with beads, fringe, ruffle, embroidery, shirring, binding, or feather. Fourth, the beauty of female body is manifested to express eroticism, which is culminated by body exposure, body consciousness, use of illuminating or see-through material or colorful trimming. Finally, elegant characteristic is revealed through feminity, sophistication, and harmony that are expressed with black and white colors, see-through material, or bead trimmings.

Drapery costume started with using one fabric to loosely wrap around one's body without using technical skills or needlework. Drapery becomes a beautiful and indeterminate form of pleated costume which determines the costume silhouette and serves as an essential component for the composition of artistic costume. The purpose of this study was to examine the aesthetic characteristics of drapery costume using literature review. The study methods include considerations of the formation process of drapery costume with the analysis of costume in pictures. For modern costume designs, the study analyzed the designer's dress with a focus on drapery forms, which appeared in the collections from 2001 to 2007. First, drapery costume contains the beauty of human body. Drapery costume reveals the smallest movement of the body. The beauty of drapes, which is naturally revealed along the curve of the body, and the pleats which form on the soft cloth create the beauty of body. Second, drapery costume has rhythmical beauty. Drapery pleats feature not only functions, but also unique formativeness that provides rhythmicity and regular or irregular direction effects by line. Third, drapery costume features elegant beauty. Bias cutting by draping can effectively express the elegant characteristics of the fabric. In making a piece of clothing, the composition method can express elegant beauty by covering up the shortcomings of the fitting and by fitting to the body line without cutting the fabric, or fitting it by bias cutting.

Jazz derived from the blacks' work songs and made the frame of Jazz reaching blues and finally arrived at the recent time propagating itself as not only the blacks' music but all human being's music. This study has a purpose to suggest the Jazz image to the fashion design by examining the historical trace of Jazz which is one of popular music received by hearing sense. As for the result of the Jazz's effects by age, rhythmical beauty stressing dresses were in fashion by dance enjoying women in 1920's and dresses giving a mature atmosphere set the fashion in 1930's. in the beginning of 1990's, newly emerging Jazz was reflected to the popular culture along with the historical mode's fashion in the general society. The design's decided with two themes of Jazz Classic and Neo Fusion to modernly and naturally express the pursuit of strong color contrast which associated fast rhythm and lax image such as the counter melody of smooth Jazz. In that result, Jazz image with auditory feelings could suggest the various design motive and new idea to fashion design.

2002년 월드컵 전야제에서는 한국문화를 소개해 세계인의 환호를 받았는데 그 중에는 칠석동 민속축제인 고싸움놀이가 펼쳐졌다. 칠석동 민속축제는 일반 서민복식의 전통복 형태를 보여주는 복식(服飾)을 실제 착용하고 축제를 행하고 있으므로, 점차 사라져 가는 전통복식을 놀이문화를 통해 직접 확인할 수 있다는 점에서 연구가치를 갖는다. 본 연구의 목적은 국제화 시대에 우리 전통문화에 대한 정체성 확립을 위해 시대적 변화에 따라 변해 가는 민속복식을 무형문화재로 지정되어 있는 칠석동 고싸움놀이를 중심으로 시대적 흐름을 통한 고싸움놀이의 전수과정에서 형성되어 온 민속축제복식의 구성과 특성을 살펴보는데 있다. 연구방법은 광주지역인 광산구 칠석동 마을을 중심으로 자료조사와 현장조사를 병행하였다. 자료조사는 민속에 관련된 전공서적과 무형문화재 조사보고서, 행사팜플렛 등을 참고하였고, 현장조사는 고싸움 축제에 참가하여 복식 전반에 대한사진촬영과 마을축제 참여하는 마을사람들을 중심으로 축제복식에 관한 면담조사를 하였다. 칠석동 고싸움 축제복식은 행사가 진행되는 내용에 따라 크게 4가지로 분류할 수 있는데 본격적인 고싸움이 시작되기 전날 밤에 당산나무에 제를 지내는 당산제 복식, 마을의 평안과 고싸움의 흥을 돋우기 위한 농악복식, 고싸움이 시작되기 전에 아낙네들이 손과 손을 맞잡고 둥글게 돌며 화합을 다짐하는 강강수월래 복식, 한해 풍년을 기원하는 고싸움복식이 있다. 칠석동 고싸움 축제복식의 특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구성면에서는 농경제의(農耕祭衣)와 안택축원(安宅祝願的)을 기원하는 민속놀이축제복식으로 일상생활에 착용하는 복식을 이용한 농경 의례복의 다(多)기능성이 강조된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 색상은 우리조상의 백의(白衣)의 상징인 일상복인 백색 위에 오방색을 사용하여 화려하고도 강렬한 원색의 색상조화가 특징적으로 나타났다. 셋째, 형태면에서는 양쪽어깨와 허리선의 면 분할이나 비례를 통해 허리부분의 동작에 따른 유동적인 선이 부각되고 있다. 특히, 평면구성의 단조로움은 흔들리는 몸동작에 따른 고름의 율동미와 축제복식의 착장 방법에 따른 한국복식의 형태미를 보여주었다.

Dyskinesia can occur as a neurological abnormality due to stroke, and its incidence in stroke patients is reported to be about 1%. It is possible to classify dyskinesia into one of the morphologic types already classified clinically. However, a specific type of dyskinesia can occur; one which does not fall into the existing morphologic types. We experienced such a case of specific type dyskinesia, which couldn't be classified into the existing classification system. A 50-year-old man visited our hospital due to rhythmic dyskinesia of the right hand, which appeared during the resting state, and had developed one month after left subcortical infarction. Flexion and extension movements of the fingers at 3Hz appeared due to the impatient impulse to move. However, this abnormal movement could be easily suppressed under the patients will. We suggested that the abnormal movement was similar to akathisia from the fact that it occurred due to the internal desire to move and that the patient could suppress dyskinesia. However, the rhythmic tendency and lack of medication history of antipsychotics suggested that the movement was not the typical form of akathisia. The present case may represent a new clinical type of movement disorder developed after stroke. Considering the clinical pattern of the present case and following a review of the literature, we believe that it can be labeled, post-stroke rhythmic akathisia.

민화나 고화에 많이 등장하는 호랑나비나 제비나비형태의 그림은 다수 있지만 한자 문화권이라 그런지 '나비'라는 말은 늦게 나타난다. 나비라는 말은 나불나불 나는 모습에서 유래되었다고 하는데, 고서에 호접(胡蝶:범나비), 황접(黃蝶:노랑나비) 등으로 나타나다가 1481년에 나온 두시언해(杜詩諺解)에서 나비 또는 나뵈로, 1527년에 나온 훈몽자회(訓夢字會)에는 나뵈로, 숙종 시대(1675$\sim$1720)에 나온 시몽언해물명(時夢諺解物名)에는 남이로 나온다. 그 후로는 나?????? 또는 나비로 불러오다가 현재 나비가 표준말이 되어 쓰여 지고 있다. 아직도 지방에 따라서는 나부 또는 나베라고 부르는 곳도 있다. 나비는 연인의 사랑 기쁨 행운 장수 영원 등의 의미와 아름다운 자태에 마음이 끌려 예로부터 시와 그림으로 표현되어 그 아름다움을 감상하거나, 공예품, 장신구등에 응용되어 왔다. 본 연구는 이러한 나비의 형태와 색채를 분석하고 수용성 부직포를 이용한 누비 응용기법을 적용하여 나비의 형태미, 날개시맥의 섬세한 조형미를 표현하였으며 가볍고 드레이프성이 좋은 기본소재를 사용함으로서 나비의 날개 짓이 주는 율동적 움직임을 용이하게 표현될 수 있도록 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 상기의 표현 기법이 나비 이미지의 미적표현에 적합함과 아울러 디자인 전개에 무한한 잠재력을 가지고 있음을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 결과 나비 날개 윤곽선의 부드러운 곡선은 인체의 선적 조형미에 잘 부합되어 의상과 인체가 조화롭게 결합될 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 누비 응용 기법이 가진 특성들이 소재 표현기법으로 다양화 될 수 있음을 깨달았으며 누비 기법의 응용을 통한 혼합기법이 의상에 적용됨으로서 오뜨 꾸뛰르(Haute Couture) 적인 고급스러운 작품으로 전개될 수 있음을 알게 되었다.
