Detection of Harmful Images Based on Color and Geometrical Features (색상과 기하학적인 특징 기반의 유해 영상 탐지)

  • Along with the development of high-speed, wired and wireless Internet technology, various harmful images in a form of photos and video clips have become prevalent these days. In this paper, we suggest a method of automatically detecting adult images by extracting woman's nipple areas which represent obscenity of the image. The suggested algorithm first segments skin color areas in the $YC_bC_r$ color space from input images and extracts nipple's candidate areas from the segmented skin areas through the suggested nipple map. We then select real nipple areas by using geometrical information and determines input images as harmful images if they contain nipples. Experimental results show that the suggested nipple map-based method effectively detects adult images.

The Study on the Implementation of the X-Ray CT System Using the Cone-Beam for the 3D Dynamic Image Acquisition (3D 동영상획득을 위한 Cone-Beam 형 X-Ray CT 시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we presents a new cone beam computerized tomography (CB CT) system for the reconstruction of 3 dimensional dynamic images. The system using cone beam has less the exposure of radioactivity than fan beam, relatively. In the system, the reconstruction 3-D image is reconstructed with the radiation angle of X-ray in the image processing unit and transmitted to the monitor. And in the image processing unit, the Three Pass Shear Matrices, a kind of Rotation-based method, is applied to reconstruct 3D image because it has less transcendental functions than the one-pass shear matrix to decrease a time of calculations for the reconstruction 3-D image in the processor. The new system is able to get 3~5 3-D images a second, reconstruct the 3-D dynamic images in real time.

  • This paper presents a new fast algorithm, rotation-based method (RBM), for the reconstruction of 3 dimensional image for cone beam computerized tomography (CB CT) system. The system used cone beam has less exposure time of radioactivity than fan beam. The Three-Pass Shear Matrices (TPSM) is applied, that has less transcendental functions than the one-pass shear method to decrease a time of calculations in the computer. To evaluate the quality of the 3-D images and the time for the reconstruction of the 3-D images, another 3-D images were reconstructed by the radon transform under the same condition. For the quality of the 3-D images, the images by radon transform was shown little good quality than REM. But for the time for the reconstruction of the 3-D images REM algorithm was 35 times faster than radon transform. This algorithm offered $4{\sim}5$ frames a second. It meant that it will be possible to reconstruct the 3-D dynamic images in real time.

  • 방송에서는 당사자의 동의 없이 얼굴을 노출 시키거나, 유해물질로 판단되는 물체의 노출을 금지하고 있다. 기존의 처리방식으로 편집자가 촬영된 영상을 직접 편집하거나, 촬영 시 가리개를 이용하는 방법을 사용한다. 이러한 방법은 번거롭고, 실수로 인해 얼굴이나 유해물질이 방송에 그대로 노출될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 기반의 객체탐지 모델과 동일인 판단 모델을 사용하여 편집 과정을 자동으로 처리하고 후처리뿐만 아니라 실시간 방송에서의 적용을 위해 추가적으로 객체추적 알고리즘을 도입하여 처리속도를 높이는 방안을 제시한다.

McDoT: Multi-Channel Domain Tracking Technology for Illegal Domains Collection

  • Recently, Harmful sites, including pornographic videos, drugs, personal information and hacking tool distribution sites, have caused serious social problems. However, due to the nature of the Internet environment where anyone can use it freely, it is difficult to control the user effectively. And the site operator operates by changing the domain to bypass the blockage. Therefore, even once identified sites have low persistence. In this paper, we propose multi-channel domain tracking technology, a technique that can effectively track changes in the domain addresses of harmful sites, including the same or similar content, by tracking changes in these harmful sites. Proposed technology is a technology that can continuously track information in a domain using OSINT technology. We tested and verified that the proposed technology was effective for domain tracking with a 90.4% trace rate (sensing 66 changes out of 73 domains).

  • Every year, the number of wild animals appearing in human settlements increases, resulting in increased damage to property and human life. In particular, the damage is more severe when wild animals appear on highways or farmhouses. To solve this problem, ecological pathways and guide fences are being installed on highways. In addition, in order to solve the problem in farms, horn repelling using sensors, installing a net, and repelling by smell of excrement are being used. However, these methods are expensive and their effectiveness is not high. In this paper, we used YOLO (You Only Look Once), an AI-based image analysis method, to analyze harmful animals in real time to reduce malfunctions, and high-brightness LEDs and ultrasonic frequency speakers were used as extermination devices. The speaker outputs an audible frequency that only animals can hear, increasing the efficiency to only exterminate wild animals. The proposed system is designed using a general-purpose board so that it can be installed economically, and the detection performance is higher than that of the devices using the existing sensor.

  • 현재까지 유해한 컨텐츠(Contents)를 차단하기 위한 활발한 연구가 있었으나, 사람의 음성(speech)정보를 이용한 필터링(filtering) 기법에 대한 연구는 활발히 이루어지지 않은 측면이 있다. 본 논문은 동영상 데이터를 가지고 있는 여러 데이터 중에서 음성 정보의 분석을 통하여 일반 컨텐츠와 성인 컨텐츠를 분류하기 위함이다. 본 논문은 음성 정보 중에서 음성 정보의 특징을 가장 잘 다루는 피치 검출을 통한 정보의 분석을 통한 성인 컨텐츠의 필터링에 그 목적이 있다. 현재까지 진행되고 있는 필터링(filtering)방법에 대한 수행 결과보다 개선된 성능을 보이고자 한다. 즉, 음성 정보의 특징 정보를 이용한 성인 컨텐츠(Adult Contents)분류 기법을 활용하는 것으로 성인 컨텐츠(Adult Contents)에서 두드러지는 특징을 보이는 사운드 패턴을 분석하는 것이다.

  • 인터넷 사용의 증가로 않은 사람들이 기존의 편지나 엽서를 사용하던 것을 전자 메일(e-mail)로 대체하고 있다. 전자 메일은 텍스트뿐만 아니라 그림, 음성, 동영상까지 전송이 가능하여 필요한 문서들도 첨부가 가능하여 많은 사람들에게 호응을 얻고 있지만 광고 메일이나 음란 사이트 홍보 메일로 사용되면서 많은 전자 메일 사용자들에게 정신적 피해를 주고 있으며 메일링 서비스를 하고 있는 업체들에게 큰 유해를 끼치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 요구하지 않은 광고성 스팸 메일을 OTP(One Time Password)를 이용하여 효과적으로 차단하는 모듈을 제안, 설계한다. 기존의 차단 방식은 메일 서버에 저장된 메일들을 삭제하는 방식으로 메일 서버에 많은 과부하를 주며 메일 서버의 저장 용량을 낭비하여 사용자로 하여금 곡 필요한 메일들을 송, 수신 하지 못할 수도 있었다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템은 스팸 메일로 분류된 메일들을 메일 서버 자체에 저장하지 않는 방식을 사용하여서 기존의 문제점을 해결하였다.

Discovery of the Dmitri Donskoi ship near Ulleung Island(East Sea of Korea), using geophysical surveys (물리탐사기술을 이용한 침몰선 Dmitri Donskoi호 탐사)

  • Dmitri Donskoi, the Russian cruiser launched in 1883, is known to have sunk near Ulleung Island (East Sea, Korea) on May 29, 1905, while it was participating in the Russo-Japanese War. In order to find this ship, information about its possible location was obtained from Russian and Japanese maritime historical records. The supposed location of the ship was identified, and we conducted a five-year geophysical survey from 1999 to 2003. A reconnaissance three-dimensional topographic survey of the sea floor was carried out using multi-beam echo sounder, marine magnetometer, and side-scan sonar. An anomalous body identified through the initial reconnaissance survey was identified by a detailed survey using a remotely operated vehicle, deep-sea camera, and the mini-submarine Pathfinder. Interpretation of the acquired data showed that the ship is hanging on the side of a channel, at the bottom of the sea 400 m below sea level. The location is about 2 km from Port Jeodong, Uleung Island. We discovered 152 mm naval guns and other war materiel still attached to the hull of the ship. In addition, the remnants of the steering gear and other machinery that were burnt during the final action were found near the hull. Strong magnetic fields, resulting from the presence of volcanic rocks in the survey area, affected the resolution of the magnetic data gathered; as a result, we could not locate the ship reliably using the magnetic method. Severe sea floor topography in the gully around the hull gave rise to diffuse reflections in the side-scan sonar data, and this prevented us from identifying the anomalous body with the side-scan sonar technique. However, the sea-floor image obtained from the multi-bean echo sounder was very useful in verifying the location of the ship.
