  • 금년에는 AI로 인해 양계산물에 대한 국민들의 불안 심리가 높아지면서 소비가 절반 이상까지 떨어졌지만, 업계 전체가 적극적으로 소비촉진 활동을 벌이면서 빠른 회복세를 보였다. 농협목우촌은 대형유통매장에 생닭과 오리를 수당 500원씩 할인판매를 실시했고, 치킨프랜차이즈 업체인 또래오래는 10년 전 가격으로 판매하고자 2천원 할인, 우수고객에게는 1천원을 추가로 할인하는 특별 행사를 실시하면서 AI로 인해 급감한 가금류 소비촉진에 발 벗고 나서기도 했다. 이번 호에는 충북 음성에 위치한 농협목우촌 계육가공공장 임동석 장장을 찾아 계육산업의 현황과 사업추진 방안에 대해 들어보았다.

  • 복용방법 및 용량, 부작용이나 주의사항 등의 정보가 모두 담겨 있는 약병. 출고부터 물류센터, 매장에 이르기까지 재고와 출납현황이 모두 실시간으로 추적되는 물류시스템. 생산지와 가공, 유통 이력이 모두 기록되어 있는 농산물. 그리고 우리가 매일 쓰고 있는 교통카드까지, RFID는 미래에 실현될 막연한 개념이 아니라 이미 광범위한 분야에서 적용되고 있는 기술로 우리 곁에 다가왔다. 본고에서는 세계 최초의 모바일 RFID 게임인 <사립탐정>의 사례를 통해 RFID와 유비쿼터스 핵심 개념의 실체에 대해 살펴보고,RFID·USN 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠의 발전방향에 대해 알아본다.

  • 이 연구는 2차자료가 부족한 우리나라 슈퍼마켓 업체의 여건을 감안하여 간편하게 활용할 수 있는 입지분석 모델의 가능성을 탐구하였다. 연구모델은 두 가지 기준을 근거로 모두 네가지 모델을 설정하고 비교검토했다. 먼저 표본추출방법에 의해 내점객표본과 지역할당표본으로 분류하고, 이것을 다시 포함하는 변수의 범위에 따라 축소모델과 확장모델로 구분하였다. 공간상호작용모델의 추정에는 MNL(Multinomial Logit)방식을 이용했다. 분석결과 내점객표본으로 조사해서 얻은 응답자의 주거지와 주로 찾는 점포, 그리고 사전적으로 입수한 경쟁점포의 매장면적, 인접점포까지의 거리에 대한 자료만을 이용해서 추정한 가장 간단한 모델이 비교적 만족스러운 결과를 나타냈다.

  • The lowest price guarantee policy or price-matching guarantee is the pricing policy that promises to compensate more than the price difference if a consumer finds a lower price for the identical model he or she purchased and submits a certain proof. Most of Korean large discount stores emphasize their competitive price level by adopting the lowest price guarantee policy so that the entire Korean distribution industry is deeply influenced by the policy. The article is the study regarding the effects of the lowest price guarantee policy in Korean unique industry environments. The study investigated the effects of the policy on consumers' preferences of stores. By using the conjoint measurement model, it identified the main effects and interaction effects between the policy and other independent variables. The results showed the significant effects of the policy on consumers' preference of stores and identified the interaction effects between the distance from the residence and the policy, and between overall store price level and the policy.

  • Commercial analysis has been used for a lot of reasons such as improving the distribution structure, operational cost savings. However, existing commercial assay system is mostly flow through the analysis of the population and the environment around the store. Therefore, in this paper, we design a path weighted data analysis system for efficient product arrangement. It is not applying the analysis method of the existing commercial sales center but the data analysis system applying the weight to the form of customers' paths in a store. In conjunction with the existing POS system, it provides effective product placement in department stores, such as supermarkets, convenience stores. To this end, a system that maximizes efficiency of product placement in stores, receiving path data, converting them into statistics data that apply the weight, and printing out them into a visualized monitering system for the manager to see was designed.

Influential Factors on Customers' Proneness Model of Private Brand Apparel (의류제품의 유통업자상표 선호에 대한 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a model of private brands proneness form-ation considering the six private brands proneness-related variables simultaneously. Since the theoretical framework is based on previous research in various areas, it serves as an integrative one. Data were collected via intercept surveys conducted at nine regional branches of two major department stores situated in Seoul. Participants(n=1,120), who had previously purchased women's private brand apparel, were asked to complete a questionnaire during two weeks from March 15, 1999 to March 28, 1999. LISREL and SPSS PC+ were used to test the model and analyze its variables. The fitness of the model show the reasonable fit between all indices(RMSR=.036, GFI=.99, AGFI=.92, and NFI=.95). The proposed model supports all the hypothesized relationships. Private brands proneness increases as perceived money value of products, familiarity, positive store image of private brands, and satisfaction of individuals' differentiated needs increase. Furthermore, perceived money value of products increase as perceived risk of private brand purchase and perceived quality variation between private brand products and manufacture's products decrease.

Microbial Contamination Analysis to Assess the Safety of Marketplace Sushi (유통중인 생선초밥의 오염 미생물 분석)

  • To determine the contamination status of Sushi fish and rice, seventy-nine samples of Sushi were collected from wholesale markets and Japanese restaurants within the Seoul area and subsequently analyzed for food-borne pathogens. Total aerobic counts ranged from 4 to 6 log CFU/g for the sliced raw fish, and from 3 to 5 log CFU/g for the boiled rice. Higher levels of contamination were detected in bream and shrimp Sushi versus other types. Coliform counts of 3-4 log CFU/g were detected in the sliced raw fish, whereas levels in the boiled rice were one log CFU/g lower compared to the raw fish. The raw Sushi fish had higher amounts of contamination than the boiled rice, however, E.coli was not detected. The prevalence rates of pathogens, namely Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus, in the raw fish were 17% and 10%, respectively. Similarly, the prevalence rates in the boiled rice were 11% and 8% for S. aureus and B.cereus, respectively. Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes were also detected; however, other pathogens such as Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Clostridium perfrigens, and Yersinia enterocolitica were not detected. Among the high contaminating pathogens, B.cereus was found in 13% of samples from the wholesale markets, while S.aureus was found in 30% of samples from the Japanese restaurants. Therefore, these data suggest that the primary microbial hazard factors for Sushi are S. aureus and B. cereus, in addition to V. parahaemolyticus, and further risk assessments should focus on those pathogens.

The Locational Characteristics of Cultural Industries : The Case of the Record Industry in Korea (문화산업의 입지적 특성 분석: 음반산업을 중심으로)

  • The record industry, which consists of the cultural industries, has been deeply interrelated with the innovations of the science and the technologies. In Korea, the record industry has been developed dramatically since the late 1980s, and thus it has formed a huge business, and has also brought a lot of accompanying economical effects. The record industry is constituted with four circulation steps such as producing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing, which follow the different locational orients, respectively. The purpose oi this study is to investigate the locational characteristics of each step. Because of the shortage of the data, this study based on the direct data from field studies, interviews, and surveys, as well as the existing document data. The results of this research are summarized as following: the record industry shows strong concentrations in Seoul and the surrounding areas. It also shows the spatial linkage with other industries that are necessary for the production, advertisement, and sales of records. The locations of the record producers are affected by the location of broadcasting stations. Therefore, they are concentrate in Kangnam and Yeouido, where many broadcasting stations are located.

An analysis of consumer choice between the Internet and TV home shopping channels (인터넷 및 TV 홈쇼핑 채널 간의 소비자 선호 결정 요인)

  • Using survey data and the Heckit model that adequately controls the sample selection bias, we analyze shoppers expenditure through two major emerging shopping channels: Internet shopping and TV home shopping channels. Age, Internet experience, daily Internet usage, the number of computers are factors that affect the ratio of consumers' expenditure through Internet shopping relative to the expenditure through TV home shopping. Shopping frequency which represents the shoppers' incentives to reduce transaction costs also has a positive effect on the proportion of shoppers' expenditure through the Internet shopping. Shoppers' perceptions of convenience, reliability, speed, and diversity are also shown to affect shoppers' relative expenditure ratio through Internet shopping. In contrast, shoppers' perception of prices does not seem to affect their purchasing behavior.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out characteristic of a product which has the most influence when consumer makes a purchase, and analyze if actual consumers make a purchase with recognition of the brand difference between PB and NB brands using conjoint analysis. As a result, the main factor which consumers consider when they purchase a product is the quality but the factor for brands (NB or PB) do not have an effect on their purchasing. The reason why consumers little consider a factor for PB or NB is that they do not have much knowledge of PB and they recognize the PB as a "me-too" product of NB. Therefore, retailers should develop more differentiated product in order to be recognized by consumers.
