Modern police activity is achieved than individual achievement by police officers through member's interaction. It is police's goal which protect citizen's life and body, property and is public order maintenance and to achieve this, suitable police official's selection and public official upgrading the quality and capacity strengthening are important element. But, polices organization has characteristic that do activity by team, and therefore, mutual cooperation of police officers is important first of all for public order preservation. Therefore, this study limited as patrol police officers and investigated realization difference about organizational effectiveness for public order maintenance. Analysis result, realization of organizational effectiveness appeared difference according to sex, age, area, police departments, class, period.

The paper aims at evaluating effects of preventive maintenance on life cycle cost(LCC) reduction of bridges. The preventive maintenance activities capable to delay bridge deteriorations can reduce overall maintenance costs and extend service life of a bridge by regularly providing maintenance activities and avoiding larger maintenance(repairs or rehabilitations) costs. Couple of prediction models were proposed in order to calculate LCC of a typical bridge: a health score model and repair rehabilitation cost model. In addition, the maintenance activities such as wash and painting were also suggested in order to consider effects of preventive maintenance in the analysis based on literature reviews. According to analysis results, new maintenance strategy(reactive maintenance + preventive maintenance) can save \0.5 billion per bridge for future life-cycle costs over 100 year analysis or \184 billion for entire HBMS(Highway Bridge Management System) inventory over 20 years. Small investments for preventive maintenance in improved bridge management can have a very significant return when considering the large bridge inventory.

Weight loss of pear packed with corrugated paperboard box after 50 days storage at $20^{\circ}C$ was 4.4%, and those of 20LD, 40LD film and EPS box were 0.8-0.7%. Ascorbic acid content of EPS was 20% higher than that of control. Hardness of EPS was also similar trend. Titratable acid and total soluble solid content of pear were not different among the packages. Decay of control was 1-2 pieces per box, but the others was not found. Overall appearences of LD, CE and EPS were better than that of control.

This paper uses the results of an employer survey conducted in May 1999 to investigate the impacts of the layoff-deferring subsidy in the Employment Insurance System on employment at participating firms. Using a sample of the firms that received the subsidy for temporary shutdown allowance only, we estimate that the net employment effect of the program is about 20 percent on average, which is similar to the result based on interviews with employers.

The purpose of this study is to estimate employment promotion and job retention effects of assistive technology device. Data from the survey on status of the vocational life counselor for workers with disabilities in 2009 was utilized. This study applied multiple regression analysis methods. As a result, effects of the employment promotion and job retention in the whole samples were not founded. Thereupon, this analysis was performed by company size. For the employment promotion effect, the company which provided assistive technology devices was higher than that of company which did not provide devices in the less than 300 persons sample. For the job retention effect, worker with disabilities who used assistive technology devices was longer than that of workers with disabilities who did not use devices in the 50-299 persons sample, Finally, policy suggestions based on the results of this study was presented.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of 1-MCP, market temperature and combination treatment of freshing agent with 1-MCP on fruit quality of 'Hong Bak' peach (Prunus persica Batsch). The 1-MCP treatment at the rate of 1000ppb showed the best results in delaying the firmness loss and skin color development during shelf life without any detrimental effects on fruit quality. Moreover, positive effects of 1-MCP on fruit quality parameters were more significant in the fruits stored at $30^{\circ}C$ of high temperature shelf life than those of $20^{\circ}C$. The combination treatment of carbon ceramic with 1-MCP showed a beneficial effects including a prevention of firmness loss and maintaining external appearance during the five days of room temperature storage of 'Hong Bak' peach.

최근 몇 년 사이 설비투자가 억제되어 고경년(高經年)변압기나 과부하로 운전조건이 어려워진 변압기가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 기기의 운전신뢰성 유지와 정비$\cdot$보수를 위한 토털코스트의 삭감 요구가 제기되고 있다. 변압기의 운전신뢰성을 유지하기 위한 센서 및 장치는 점검$\cdot$순시의 지원, 이상징후의 검출은 물론 기기의 상태를 정확하게 파악함으로써 적절한 유지보수의 지원을 목적으로 하는 것이 제품화되어 있다. 이와 같은 변압기의 감시$\cdot$진단센서 기술과 IT(정보기술)를 이용한 IT화 대응 변압기 유지보수지원시스템을 개발하여 공장내의 실(實)변압기에 설치, 실용성을 확인하였다. 이 시스템은 기존의 광역네트워크를 사용하여 유지보수거점에 위치하면서 원격지의 변압기 운전상태와 감시$\cdot$진단정보를 필요에 따라 액세스할 수 있도록 되어 있으며, 유지보수거점에서는 기기감시서버내의 데이터와 화면을 임의로 액세스할 수 있고 유지보수정보의 공유화와 이상검출시의 유중가스센서의 기동, 부하시 탭전환장치(LTC)의 토크파형 표시에 의한 조기대응과 이상해석$\cdot$진단정도(精度)의 향상에 효과를 발휘할 수 있다. 시스템은 변압기의 중요성, 토털코스트에 맞추어 구축된다. 이 때문에 센서, 각 장치간의 데이터 전송에 대해서는 온라인, 오프라인 및 각종 I/F를 준비하여 시스템의 선택성$\cdot$확장성을 고려토록 하고 있다. 차후 IT화 대응 유지보수지원시스템이 변압기 운전신뢰성 유지와 유지보수코스트 삭감에 효과를 발휘할 것으로 기대한다.

Soybean oil and lard containing different level (0.02, 0.1, 1%) of methionine, lysine and some antioxi-dants (TBHQ, a-tocopherol) were stored at 60$^{\circ}C$ and heated at 180$^{\circ}C$ to compare their antioxidative effects. Peroxide values (POV) and acid values (AV) of each oil were monitored. Methionine and Iysine showed antioxidative effects in all concentration and the higher concentration, the higher effect. In case of incubating antioxidative effect of methionine was similer to that of TBHQ and that of lysine was considerably higher than that of a-tocopherol, but was lower than that of methionine. In case of heating the antioxidative effects of methionine and lysine were showed higher than those of THHQ and u-tocopherol. Methionine and lysine also had higher antioxidative effects in animal fat than in vegetable oil. Synergistic effects among methionine, Lysine and some food antioxidants were shown to be available in all substrates and the best effect was shown in substrate added com-pound of methionine and a-tocopherol.

In this study, we examined whether the intention to choose varies according to the experience of the regret of consumers when experiencing a failure in the status quo or non-status quo, and how self-compassion plays a moderating role in this relationship. A experiment was conducted to achieve the purpose of the study. First, this study also confirmed that regret was a mediator between dissatisfaction with choice outcomes and behavioral intentions. Second, like previous studies, this study confirmed the effect of status quo in general. However, it can be seen that the effect depend on self-compassion. Or, the regrets of those with high self-compassion and their future behavioral intentions did not change significantly whether it was wrong due to maintaining on or changing of the status quo. On the other hand, those with low self-compassion showed the bigger differences, so they were typically showing the status quo effect.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-proliferative effect of methanolic extracts from Citrus junos (yuja) seeds and yuja seed oils against HT-29 human colon cancer cells and to identify the key compounds responsible for this effect. Extracts from yuja seeds, yuja seed oil prepared using hexane, and cold-pressed yuja seed oil were prepared using 60% methanol (ES, EHO, and ECO, respectively). The key compounds in the extracts were determined using HPLC-MS. Among the extracts, EHO and ECO inhibited proliferation of HT-29 cells. EHO and ECO were fractionated using preparative LC and the bioactive compounds were determined. Five of the fractions showed a significant anti-proliferative effect and the main compounds in the fractions were isopimpinellin, bergapten, and ichangensin. These compounds showed anti-proliferative effects on HT-29 cells when treated individually, and ichangensin showed the highest anti-proliferative activity. These results suggest that these compounds may be responsible for the anti-cancer effect of EHO and ECO.
