Study on Dynamic Characteristics and Performance of Tip Jet Rotor Using Small-scaled Rotor (축소로터를 이용한 Tip Jet 로터의 성능 및 동특성 연구)

  • In this study, a small-scaled test system for a tip jet rotor was developed to contribute to the research on unmanned compound rotorcraft. The performance and dynamic characteristics of the tip jet rotor were investigated using the test system. The diameter of the tip jet rotor was set to 2m in consideration of the size of the test site and the pneumatic supply capacity of the. The rotating speed of the rotor was controlled by the pressure of the compressed air. The thrust and forces during the rotor rotation were measured using a load measuring device. A hydraulic actuator was installed for the dynamic test and full-bridge strain gages were attached to the root of each blade to measure the flap, lag, and torsion-wise responses generated when the rotor is excited by the actuator. The performance and dynamic characteristic tests were conducted at various rotor speeds and blade pitches. In order to check the validity of the test results, the results were also compared with the CAMRAD II analysis.

  • -ray fluorescence analysis of $Ta_2O_5$, $Nb_2O_5$ and $ZrO_2$ in tin-slag samples using the simple dilution method was studied. The method is to correct mathematically the calibration curve to the linear line by the dilution. One synthesized standard having similar composition to the sample and tin slag samples were diluted with anhydrous $Li_2B_4O_7$ at the level of 1%, 2% and 3% of the sample content respectively. The diluted samples were fused at $1150^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes and these glass beads were finely ground and pelletized. Measuring the X-ray intensities with these pellets, analytical results were calculated by the equation derived from J. Scherman's equation for the characteristic X-ray intensity of an element. Analytical results agreed with the reference values obtained by the standard calibration method within allowable error range and were reproducible.

  • X-ray spectrometric determination of $Ta_2O_54, $Nb_2O_5$ and $ZrO_2$ in tin-slag samples using the double dilution technique was conducted. Tin-slag samples and one synthesized standard sample having similar composition to the samples were diluted with anhydrous $Li_2B_4O_7$ at the level of 1.00, 2.00 and 3.00% of the sample content, respectively. The diluted samples were fused at $1,150^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes, and these glass beads were finely ground and pelletized. With the X-ray intensities measured, analytical results were calculated by the double dilution equation. The results agreed to the reference values obtained by the standard calibration method and the simple dilution technique within allowable error range and were reproducible.

Dynamic Characteristics of Ducted Fan: A Study (덕트 팬의 동특성 연구)

  • The dynamic characteristics of a ducted fan in hovering condition were investigated. The section properties of the fan blade were calculated, and a simulation model was developed according to the rotor system components. Dynamic analyses were conducted relative to the rotational speed and the collective pitch. The proposed ducted fan system showed less aero-elastic instability within the designated operating ranges. To verify the analytical approach, a rotating test stand of the ducted fan was set up. A functional test of the assembly was carried out to determine the kinematics and interference between components. The non-rotating and rotating normal frequencies were measured by excitation of the collective pitch using hydraulic actuators. The results indicated a correlation between the test equipment and the simulation model.

  • Thick-walled cylinders, such as a cannon or nuclear reactor, are autofrettaged to induce advantageous residual stresses into pressure vessels and to increase operating pressure and the fatigue lifetimes. As the autofrettage level increases, the magnitude of compressive residual stress at the bore also increases. The purpose of the present paper is to predict the accurate residual stress of SCM440 high strength steel using the Kendall model which was adopted by ASME Code. Hydraulic pressure process was applied in the inner part and thick-walled cylinders were autofrettaged up to 30% overstrain levels. Electro polishing on the surface of autofrettage specimen was performed to get more accurate residual stress. Residual stresses were measured by X-ray diffraction method. The autofrettage surface which was plastically deformed analyzed using a scanning electron microscope(SEM). Although there were some differences in measured residual stress and numerical results, it has a tendency to agree comparatively with each other.

  • This paper introduced a impact load estimation method by examining vibration transfer path analysis (TPA). The theoretical background and the load quantification procedure are explained, and a case study of hydraulic breaker is reported. We explained the merits and limitations of the load estimation method of TPA, and improvement method was suggested through case analyses of drilling equipment. The necessity of R&D of load-estimation technology was discussed. A new strategy for developing new techniques for impact load measurement was proposed.

A Study on the Phase Bandwidth Frequency of a Directional Control Valve Based on the Hydraulic Line Pressure (배관 압력을 이용한 방향제어밸브 위상각 대역폭 주파수 측정에 관한 연구)

  • Spool displacement of a direction control valve is the standard signal to measure the bandwidth frequency of the direction control valve. When the spool displacement signal is not available, it is suggested in this study to use the metering hydraulic line as an alternative way to measure - 90 degree phase bandwidth frequency of the hydraulic direction control valve. Dynamics of the hydraulic line is composed of inertia, capacitance, and friction effects. The effect of oil inertia is dominant in common hydraulic line dynamics and the line dynamics is close to a derivative action in a range of high frequency; such as a range of bandwidth frequency of common directional control valves. Phase difference between spool displacement and line load pressure is nearly constant as a valve close to 90 degree. If phase difference is compensated from the phase between valve input and pressure, compensated phase may be almost same as the phase of spool displacement that is a standard signal to measure phase bandwidth frequency of the directional control valve. A series of experiments were conducted to examine the possibility of using line pressure in to measure phase bandwidth frequency of a directional control valve. Phase bandwidth frequency could be measured with relatively high precision based on metering hydraulic line technique and it reveals consistent results even when valve input, oil temperature, and supply pressure change.

Evaluation of Fatigue Endurance on Expansion Joint Manufactured Fe-Mn Damping Alloy (Fe-Mn 제진 금속을 적용한 신축이음장치의 피로 내구성 평가)

  • The endurance of expansion joint manufactured the Fe-Mn damping alloy reducing noise and vibration is analyzed into FEM (Finite Element Method) and fatigue test. The fatigue test have been performed using the expansion joint manufactured Fe-Mn damping alloy and the hydraulic actuator (25tonf). And the results of fatigue test show that the maximum strength is 237.6 MPa. Also that is 56.6 percent of Fe-Mn damping alloy yield strength (420 MPa). The loading plate size is prepared $57.7cm{\times}23.1cm$ and the loading plate's set position is located on expansion joint. The expansion joint manufactured the Fe-Mn damping alloy had not presented breaking behavior against 2,000,000 times fatigue test and identified the fatigue endurance.

Synthesis and Lubricating Properties of Succinic Acid Alkyl Ester Derivatives (숙신산 알킬 에스테르 유도체의 합성 및 윤활특성)

  • In this paper, a series of alkyl succinic acid esters for base oil were synthesized by condensation reaction of succinic anhydride and fatty alcohol. The structures of the synthesized esters were confirmed by $^1H-NMR$, FT-IR spectrum and GC analysis. Basic properties of esters such as kinematic viscosity (KV), refractive index (RI), total acid number (TAN) and pour points were measured and lubricating properties such as SRV wear scar diameter (SRV WSD), fraction coefficient (COF) and 4-ball wear (4-ball WSD) were also evaluated. As the results of basic properties, KV, RI and pour point of synthetic esters increased as the carbon chain of the esters increased. Measurement value of total acid number (TAN) was indicated between 0.2~4 mgKOH/g, and that metal working fluids and pressure working oils are acceptable to use as base oil. Also, lubricating properties of the esters showed as follows: 0.391~0.689 mm of SRV WSD, 0.110~0.138 of SRV COF and 0.49~0.55 mm of 4-ball WSD depended on the structure of the esters. In a comparison on the lubrication capacity of the SRV test based on polyester TMPTO, SRV WSD result showed that a better performance caused by the alkyl group. On the other hand, SRV COF test was not influenced of the alkyl group which the capacity of the lubricant was sightly diminished than the comparison material, regardless of the alkyl group.

  • 공사장의 건설기계 소음은 저주파 에너지를 많이 가지고 있기 때문에, 일단 소음이 발생되면 그 전파가 멀리까지 감쇄없이 진행하는 물리적 특징을 가지고 있으며 현실적으로 흡음재처리를 통한 소음방지효과는 저조한 실정이다. 특히, 선진국에서는 건설기계 등의 엄격한 소음 인증제도 실시로 인해 국내 일부 건설장비 생산제품이 외국에서 요구하는 소음규제치를 초과하기 때문에 저소음, 저진동 건설기계 설계 기술의 발전이 없으면, 향후 수출여건이 점차 어려워지고 있다. 이와같은 주변여건의 변화로 인해 건설기계를 생산하는 입체에서는 공사장 소음과 같은 저주파 에너지에 의해 지배 받는 소음문제를 효과적으로 저감시키기 위한 건설기계의 저소음, 저진동 설계의 필요성을 심각하게 인식하고 있는 실정이다. 건설기계중, 소음이 문제시되는 기계로는 지반정지공사, 기초공사, 콘크리트공사, 포장공사, 파괴 및 해체공사와 기타등 6가지가 있다. 이중에서 환경연구원의 연구결과에 따르면, 항타기, 브레이커 및 착암기가 높은 소음도를 나타내고 있다. 가장 높은 소음을 배출하고 있는 항타기는 기초 공사에 쓰이는 것으로써 지반 천공후 H빔을 싣는 디젤 항타기의 경우, 소음도가 107dBA를 보여주고 있다. 이 값은 기계로부터 7m 떨어진 거리에서 측정된 값이다. 또, 파괴 및 해제공사에 쓰이는 브레이커는 98dBA의 소음도를 보여주고 있다. 착암기는 작용원리에 따라 91-96dBA의 소음을 배출하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 건설기계중 소음이 높아 문제시 되고 있는 유압 브레이커의 저소음 설계기술개발에 관한 내용이다. 저소음 브레이커의 개발을 위해 소음에너지의 전달경로를 검토하고, 현실성있는 소음방지 대책을 제시하였다. 연구결과, 브레이커의 설계개량을 통해, 10dB의 소음저감효과를 볼 수 있어 만족스러운 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.타를 처리하기에는 부적절한 방법임이 널리 알려진 사실이다[3]. 최근에 Ben Mrad와 Fassois[4]는 신호에 잡음이 존재하여도 이를 잘 처리할 수 있는 확률적(stochastic) 방법을 개발하여 기존의 결정적 방법들과 그 결과를 비교하였다. 그러나, 개발된 방법은 응답 신호에 백색잡음(white noise)이 섞이는 특수한 경우에만 사용할 수 있게 만들어져서 이 방법의 실질적인 적용에는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 방법들의 단점을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 회귀적 모우드 변수 규명 방법을 개발하였다. 이는 Fassois와 Lee가 ARMAX모델의 계수를 효율적으로 추정하기 위하여 개발한 뱉치방법인 Suboptimum Maximum Likelihood 방법[5]를 기초로 하여 개발하였다. 개발된 방법의 장점은 응답 신호에 유색잡음이 존재하여도 모우드 변수들을 항상 정확하게 구할 수 있으며, 또한 알고리즘의 안정성이 보장된 것이다.. 여기서는 실험실 수준의 평 판모델을 제작하고 실제 현장에서 이루어질 수 있는 진동제어 구조물에 대 한 동적실험 및 FRS를 수행하는 과정과 동일하게 따름으로써 실제 발생할 수 있는 오차나 error를 실험실내의 차원에서 파악하여 진동원을 있는 구조 물에 대한 진동제어기술을 보유하고자 한다. 이용한 해마의 부피측정은 해마경화증 환자의 진단에 있어 육안적인 MR 진단이 어려운 제한된 경우에만 실제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 보조적인 방법으로 생각된다.ofile whereas relaxivity at high field is not affected by τS.
