  • 근래 주목받는 키워드인 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous), UCC(User Created Contents) 등은 기술적 발달과 함께한 사람들의 행동 양식 변화를 잘 반영하고 있다. 기술적인 측면에서 모바일 환경으로의 진화는 사람들에게 시공간적 제약을 없애주었으며, '호모 루덴스'로 표현된 유희적 인간의 개념은 현대인의 행동 양식을 잘 표현했다. 이중 지상파 이동 멀티미디어 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, DMB)은 방송에 있어서 시공간적 제약을 없앤 대표적인 사례이며, 'EDUTAINMENT(에듀테인먼트)'는 교육에 유희를 결합한 실례라고 하겠다. 특히 DMB는 정보와 유희의 욕구를 기본적으로 충족시킬 수 있는 방송이라는 매체를 이용한다는 점에서 에듀테인먼트의 기술적 기반이 될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 저 연령의 학습자에게 유희와 교육을 동시에 제공함으로써, 학습효과를 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 DMB 시스템을 위한 유아 대상의 에듀테인먼트 어플리케이션을 설계하고, 구현한다. 이 어플리케이션을 위해 스토리텔링, 음악과 악기 선택 시스템, 타임라인 및 자유표면 게임 시스템 등 DMB 시스템에 적절하며, 에듀테인먼트의 조건을 충족하는 몇 가지 방법론을 제안하여 방송을 통해 콘텐츠와 대상자가 서로 상호작용 할 수 있도록 한다. 이를 위해서는 기존 방송의 음성, 영상 서비스를 넘어 상호작용의 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있는 데이터 서비스를 요구하며, 이는 MPEG-4 Part 11: BIFS(Binary Format for Scenes) 기술을 기반으로 그 구현에는 VRML에 기초한 BT(BIFS Text) 언어를 사용한다.

Early Childhood Teachers' Perception for Fairy Tale Appearance Using Background Music (배경음악을 활용한 동화감상에 대한 유아교사의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness of early childhood teachers for the development of early childhood education programs using background music. The subjects of this study were 272 early childhood teachers of kindergartens in Busan and Kyungnam provinces. The data were collected through questionnaires on the awareness of children's appreciation of fairy tales using background music. The collected data were analyzed by frequency and percentage using SPSS 18.0 program. The results of this study are as follows: First, the number of early childhood teachers who had experience of performing fairy tales using background music were less than half of them. Secondly, the purpose of appreciation of fairy tales using background music was to develop rich emotions. In order to understand the systematic knowledge and concept of background music, it was necessary to supply background music in various life styles. Third, development of a fairy tale appreciation program using background music was generally required. Fourth, a fairy tale appreciation program using background music is appropriate for the large group activity time of 10~20 minutes one or two times a week and it was necessary to have a concatenated structure of pre-activities, introduction methods, questioning techniques in development, finishing methods, evaluation methods, and extension activity methods.

  • Specially, the character in the kids animation is the fundamental visual element, and also has the high value which is to connect to various related businesses. The main purpose of this study is the analysis for character's appearance by the basic plane figure, and it has studied on the authority of recognition capability which is to catch the simple shape rapidly and clearly rather than complex shape. For this study, I established the standard of analysis and then applied that to the characters which were selected in broadcasting domestic kids animation on EBS. Through this procedure, I analyzed character's appearance with the distribution chart. As the result, the circular and oval shapes are the most frequently used shapes for character's appearance. Finally, I expect the result of this study could be one of the design index for the character creation in practical environment.

For family activity, socializing & human networking, It is regarded such a good alternative leisure replacing on-line video game causing negative infection. In this research, for city marketing usage, we develop a specifically designed board-game with the source of historical people, must-see sights & local products. Also educational & commercial purposes are seriously considered.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of coded education on creative problem solving ability on academic high school students. The subjects of the study were 24 students (14 male, 10 female) in the 1st to 3rd grade students voluntarily desiring coding education at the 'J' high school in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do. For the experimental group, the intervention program was conducted 10 times a month for 5 months. In the intervention program, pre and post test were conducted to investigate the effects of creative problem solving ability by using the scratch program. The results of the study are as follows. First, after examining the creative problem solving ability of the experimental group after the coding training, it was statistically significant as the average score increased. Second, coding education was suitable for achieving the sub-goal of the creative experience activity of' increasing the ability to reasonably and creatively solve everyday problems'. In particular, it was found that it is effective in improving self-confidence and independence.

Then we can realize advanced in the quality of contents and technology. There are getting various kind of audio-visual teaching method. Then how do the puppet shows approach with what viewpoint? You may find them in the education for the Kids and the Handicapped. You will understand that will be able to attend with a role of a Educational medium as(a method of)medical treatment. On the point of view, I am about to study how to shape into the puppet shows as a traditional medium. And what will be expected much more influenced when accepts principles of Esthetics of an Image? I expect to purify emotion by Puppet shows to the Moderns who are live in the rapidly changing period situation. I would like to observe about making process of Puppet-show with application of the image language.

  • The vocal language which is a symbolic vocal language described external sounds or expressed shape of things in nature, phenomenon, movement, shape of state provided images which can be envisioned in minds and created the mood for the whole writings. As the instructive ways of symbolic vocal language, the activities which refrain one-way translation for lexicon definition and stimulate the thoughts of students and interesting activities such as songs and comic books which students can understand by themselves are needed. Therefore, in this study, these symbolic vocal language is to be developed as the contents of robot for Symbolic Vocal language learning activities and after study activities, the possibility of using robot for education is to be reviewed, comparing changes in definitive areas and achievement after study activities. After the Symbolic Vocal language learning activities using robot and computer, as results of testing three achievement types of words simulated sound, shape, and movement, in study on words simulating sound and shape there was no significant difference. But The study activities simulating words used robot showed significant difference in terms of interest, confidence, and understanding.

  • We need education program and contents that satisfy on-off line's education maximize an initiative spirit development in an absence of UI design for infants and elementary students. For the multiplicity of inflection of these initiative spirit development education program, we need development of contents and teaching materials(Cre-kids) that can educate both in on-line and in off-line. Cre-kids are divided of four areas that are increased fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy. Four areas are ideas of language, visual, making and computer. Through each area, we can develop children's systematic modeling idea ability. And we divide of fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy each four areas and evaluate each aspect and mark for index. That is CDQ(Creativity Design Quotient). Through the evaluation result, we will be able to study about a modeling initiative spirit index.

  • The purpose of this study is that pre-service teacher are able to design creative instruction based on NFTM-TRIZ for building up their continuous creative thinking and promoting their creative instruction activities. NFTM-TRIZ is a educational technology system to form and develop creative thinking from child to adult continuously based on TRIZ theory. TRIZ is the thinking technique of creative problem solving that can be the tool of inventory solutions by finding and get over the key of contradiction that is necessary to obtain ideal final results of suggested problems. The subjects for this study were 90 pre-service teachers who are attending third and fourth graders of Teachers' College in G university and are taking 'Curriculum and Educational Evaluation'. The creativity program for this study was carried out for ten minutes at the end of lectures. The verification for this study results were performed two faces. First, pre-service teachers presented teaching and learning plan for one time used 8 Steps' Teaching and Learning Model based on NFTM-TRIZ. Second, researcher got feedback from them about this creative program.

  • This study aims to derive the main factors for predicting student departure of university freshmen and provide the basis for establishing policies to prevent student departure at the institutional level. For this purpose, a random forest model is developed with the data observed for 2 years at a four-year private university in Seoul. In the prediction model, 6 variables of school adjustment factors and 12 variables of institution satisfaction factors are applied. The top 6 variables presenting the highest MDA turn out to be emotional stability, financial conditions, assurance in the choice of major, satisfaction with the choice of university, educational method(systematic teaching method), educational method(effectiveness of major education). Based on the results of this study, it is suggested the necessity of institutional design supporting freshmen to adapt to university life and stably continue their studies.
