An Efficient Movement Management Method of Mobile Node in Mobile IPv6 (Mobile IPv6환경에서 이동노드의 효율적인 위치 관리 방안)

  • The Mobile IPv6 provides the enhanced internet services to user by supporting a node's mobility. In Mobile IPv6(MIPv6), the mobile node sends the binding message which binds home address(HoA) with care-of address(CoA) to the home agent whenever it changes its point of attachment to the internet. To reduce the mobility management signal message the Paging Hierarchical Mobile IPv6(PHMIPv6) is proposed. The mobile node does not send the binding message within the domain if the mobile node's state is idle. Therefore the mobility signal message cost can be reduced. However, when the mobile node's session arrival rate is high the many mobility management signal cost are needed because the paging cost is very high. In this paper, we analysis the drawback of PHMIPv6 and propose the scheme which can reduce the mobility management signal cost. The proposed scheme works independent of the number of subnet in the domain. Therefore the proposed scheme can improve the mobile node's mobility management scheme.

Mobile Agent Location Management Protocol for Spatial Replication-based Approach in Mobile Agent Computing Environments (이동 에이전트 컴퓨팅 환경에서 공간적 복제 기반 기법을 위한 이동 에이전트 위치관리 프로토콜)

  • In multi-regional mobile agent computing environments, spatial replication-based approach may be used as a representative mobile agent fault-tolerance technique because it allows agent execution to make progress without blocking even in case of agent failures. However, to apply this approach to real mobile agent-based computing systems, it is essential to minimize the overhead of locating and managing mobile agents replicated on each stage. This paper presents a new mobile agent location management protocol SRLM to solve this problem. The proposed protocol allows only the primary among all the replicated workers of each stage to register with its regional server and then, significantly reduces its location updating and message delivery overheads compared with the previous protocols. Also, the protocol addresses the location management problem incurred by electing the new primary among the remaining workers at a stage in case of the primary worker's failure.

  • Mobile communication technology in the field of ubiquitous computing is one of important technologies. The development of GPS technology in mobile communications technology and PDA, the vast majority of mobile devices such as smart phones also being equipped with GPS functionality. In this paper, mounted on a mobile device user's location using GPS capabilities to track the migration routes and the accumulated user to determine the migratory path of the system used to recommend the proposed route of the proposed method and system Designs. The services offered by tracking the location of the user to move the user to route data to create and upload to the server. Upload a migration path to move data from where they currently reside to the user is recommended to go to your destination. The services offered by the users do not know where to travel or go to your destination, etc. If you do not remember the path can be useful.

  • The current advancement of mobile devices enables users to collect a sequence of user positions by use of the positioning technology and thus the related research regarding positioning or location information are quite arising. An individual mobility model based on positioning data and time data are already established while group mobility model is not done yet. In this research, group mobility model, an extension of individual mobility model, and the process of establishment of group mobility model will be studied. Based on the previous research of group mobility model from two individual mobility model, a group mobility model with more than two individual model has been established and the transition pattern of the model is represented by Markov chain. In consideration of real application, the computing time to establish group mobility mode from huge positioning data has been drastically improved by use of GPGPU comparing to the use of traditional multicore systems.

  • GPS 칩을 내장한 다양한 이동 통신 기기의 사용으로 위치 정보를 이용한 응용이 점차 확산될 전망이다. 위치 정보를 기반으로 한 응용 시스템에서는 다수 이동 객체의 위치 정보를 실시간으로 기록하고, 미래 시점의 객체 위치를 추정할 수 있어야 한다. 이런 요구에 따라 효과적인 이동 객체 색인에 고안된 기법이 TPR*-트리이다. 하지만 TPR*-트리는 고정 위치 색인에 최적화된 R-트리에 기본을 두었기 때문에 갱신 비용이 매우 커질 수 있다는 문제가 있다. R-트리에서는 갱신 연산이 빈번하지 않을 수 있지만 TPR*-트리의 경우는 이동 객체가 속도를 변화시킬 때마다 갱신 연산이 요구되기 때문에 상대적으로 매우 큰 갱신 비용이 발생할 수 있다. 이런 문제점을 부분적으로 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 쿨링다운 노드를 사용한 TPR*-트리를 제안한다. 제안된 트리는 트리의 상위 계층에 일부 이동 객체를 버퍼링함으로써 갱신 연산을 최소화 할 수 있다. 또한 지나친 사장 영역(dead space)의 확대를 방지함으로써 검색 성능 저하를 효과적으로 줄일 수 있다.

Position Compensation of a Mobile Robot Using Neural Networks (신경로망을 이용한 이동 로봇의 위치 보상)

  • Determining the absolute location of a mobile robot is essential in the navigation of a mobile robot. In this paper, a method to determine the position of a mobile robot through the visual image of a landrnark using neural networks is proposed. In determining the position of a mobile robot on the world coordinate, there is a position error because of uncertainty in pixels, incorrect camera calibration and lens distortion. To reduce the errors, a method using a BPNN(Back Propagation Neural Network) is proposed. The experimental results are presented to illustrate the superiority of the proposed method when comparing with the conventional methods.

  • In the microcell-or picocell-based system the frequent movements of mobiles bring about excessive traffics into the networks. A mobile location estimation mechanism can facilitate both efficient resource allocation and better QoS provisioning through handoff optimization. Existing location estimation schemes consider only LOS model and have poor performance in presence of multi-path and shadowing. In this paper we study novel schemes which can increase estimation accuracy by considering NLOS environment and other multiple decision parameters than the received signal strength.

  • 본 논문은 도로 네트워크에서 연속적으로 발생하는 이동객체의 위치정보를 효율적으로 보고, 저장하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 저장된 위치정보를 기반으로, 과거의 궤적정보를 정확히 추정하고, 추정된 이동객체의 궤적을 사용하여, 과거 임의의 시점에서 이동객체의 위치를 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 도로 네트워크에서의 이동객체 및 도로 네트워크의 데이터 모델을 정의하고, 이동객체의 위치정보 저장 및 추정을 위한 전체적인 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안한 프레임워크 하에서 Dijkstra의 최단경로 알고리즘을 이용하여 위치 정보를 효율적으로 저장 및 추정하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 최근 들어 이동통신 환경의 급격한 발달로 이를 활용한 위치기반 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 효율적인 위치기반 서비스를 위해서는 실시간으로 위치를 변화시키는 이동객체에 대한 저장. 관리 및 질의를 담당할 수 있는 시공간 데이타베이스 관리 시스템의 존재가 필수적이다. 본 논문은 클러스터 기반 분산 컴퓨팅 구조를 바탕으로 제안된 시공간 데이타베이스 관리 시스템인 GALIS 구조 중에서 이동객체의 과거 위치 데이타를 디스크를 기반으로 저장 및 관리하는 노드인 LDP와 이동객체 데이터 생성기를 TMO 프로그래밍 스킴과 상용 데이타베이스 엔진을 사용하여 구현하였다. 제안 시스템은 대용량 이동객체의 효율적인 관리를 위한 실시간 엔진 개발에 활용될 수 있다.

  • Mobile nodes are change their point of attachment dynamically such as networks deployed in aircraft, boats, trains, and cars. These mobile nodes move together and share the same nobility properties. Therefore, this paper addresses an efficient location management scheme based on collaboration of mobile nodes to a mobile network. We propose a scheme that combines multicast routing with Mobile IPv6 to support mobile network in the internet. This paper also tests the usefulness of our proposed method using analytical models and compares the results with our scheme and HMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile IPv6) and Network Mobility(NEMO).
