Performance Analysis of an Efficient Frame Synchronization Scheme using FFT Window Position Restoration Algorithm for OFDM Systems (OFDM System에서 FFT 윈도우 위치 복원 알고리즘을 이용한 효율적인 프레임 동기방식의 성능분석)

  • We present the frame synchronization scheme using the FFT window position restoration algorithm appropriate for wireless OFDM systems under multipath fading environment. From the restoration of the synchronization parameters of previous several frames, the algorithm can extract the synchronization parameters for the next frames. To analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm, we compare the probability of synchronization failure under time and frequency domains, respectively. From the simulation results, one can see that the algorithm in the time domain shows better performance than in the frequency one, for the $E_b/N_o$ of 6.0dB or more.

  • 영구자석 동기전동기의 벡터제어를 위해서는 고분해능의 회전자 위치정보가 필요하다. 하지만 위치센서로 홀 센서를 사용 할 경우, 저분해능으로 인해 위치 추정에 한계가 있어 정밀한 위치정보를 얻기 위한 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 간단한 위치 추정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 위치 추정 알고리즘은 홀센서 정보와 추정 위치의 직교 특성을 이용한 위치추정 방식을 통하여 회전자의 위치정보를 추정하는 방식으로 실험을 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, we deal with a precise position synchronous control of four-axes system which is working under various load disturbances. Each axis driving system is consisted of a speed controller and an acceleration controller as an inner loop instead of conventional current control scheme. The acceleration control plays an important roll to suppress load disturbances quickly. Also, each axis is coupled by a maximum position synchronous error comparison to minimize position synchronous errors according to integration of speed differency. As a result, the proposed system enables precise synchronous control with good robustness against load disturbances during transient as well as steady state. The stability and robustness of the proposed system are investigated through its frequency characteristic and numerical simulations. Finally, experimental results under load disturbances demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system fur four-axes position synchronous control.

  • 홀센서를 이용하여 동기전동기를 구동하는 경우 홀센서 설치 위치에 따라 $60^{\circ}$ 구간의 시간이 일정하지 않아 토크리플 및 전류 리플을 더욱 크게 만들 수 있다. 본 논문은 홀센서를 이용한 동기전동기의 가감속 구간의 위치오차를 줄이기 위한 회전자 위치 보상기법을 제안하고, 실험을 통하여 성능을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기의 감자 상황에서의 초기 위치 추정 방법을 제시한다. 신호 주입 센서리스 제어시, 영구자석의 극성을 추정하기 위해 영구자석의 자속에 의한 자기 포화 현상을 이용한다. 그러나 영구자석에 감자가 발생하였을 때는 극성에 따른 포화의 특성이 정상적인 경우와 달라져 전압을 주입했을 때 영구자석의 극성을 잘못 판단하게 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 감자 상황에서도 바른 극성 검출을 위해 d축 전류를 변경시켜가면서 전압을 주입하여 영구자석의 극성을 추정한다. 이를 통해 영구자석의 감자 상태를 파악하고, 감자 상황에서도 초기 위치 추정이 가능하게 된다. 정상적인 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기와 동일한 사양의 감자된 회전자를 가진 전동기에 제안된 초기 위치 추정 방법을 적용되어 그 타당성을 실험적으로 입증하였다.

  • 본고에서는 현대 디지틀 전송 분야에서 널리 이용되고 있는 여러가지 전송 방식별 원리 및 특징 등에 대해 고찰하였고, 이를 통해 최근 들어 대두된 동기식 전송기술이 차지하는 위치를 조명해 보았다. 또한 동기식 전송기술의 출현 배경, 망의 기능 및 특징 등의 분석과 함께 발전 전망등을 살펴봄으로써 동기식 다중 전송망과 관련된 전반적인 기술성, 경제성, 방식의 효율성을 제시하였다.

A Synchronized Playback Method of 3D Model and Video by Extracting Golf Swing Information from Golf Video (골프 동영상으로부터 추출된 스윙 정보를 활용한 3D 모델과 골프 동영상의 동기화 재생)

  • In this paper, we propose a synchronized playback method of 3D reference model and video by extracting golf swing information from learner's golf video to precisely compare and analyze each motion in each position and time in the golf swing, and present the implementation result. In order to synchronize the 3D model with the learner's swing video, the learner's golf swing movie is first photographed and relative time information is extracted from the photographed video according to the position of the golf club from the address posture to the finishing posture. Through applying time information from learners' swing video to a 3D reference model that rigs the motion information of a pro-golfer's captured swing motion at 120 frames per second through high-quality motion capture equipment into a 3D model and by synchronizing the 3D reference model with the learner's swing video, the learner can correct or learn his / her posture by precisely comparing his or her posture with the reference model at each position of the golf swing. Synchronized playback can be used to improve the functionality of manually adjusting system for comparing and analyzing the reference model and learner's golf swing. Except for the part where the image processing technology that detects each position of the golf posture is applied, It is expected that the method of automatically extracting the time information of each location from the video and of synchronized playback can be extended to general life sports field.

  • In general a main technology of control a sluice gate is accurate synchronous position control for the two cylinders when they are moving with the sluice gate together over 10[m]. Because the nonlinear friction and the unconstant supply flow. Cylinders' displacement will be different. In this case the sluice gate may be deformed and abraded, and even the sluice gate may unable to work. In order to design the controller for this system, we designed two kinds of Fuzzy PI controllers. Fuzzy PI position controller and Fuzzy PI synchronous controller have been designed. We show some simulation results for its availability.

  • The sensorless control of high efficiency air compressors using a permanent magnet type synchronous motor as an oil-free air compressor is quite common. However, due to the nature of the air compressor, it is difficult to install a position sensor. In order to control the permanent magnet type synchronous motor at variable speed, the inclusion of a position sensor to grasp the position of the rotor is essential. Therefore, in order to achieve sensorless control, it is essential to use a permanent magnet type synchronous motor in the compressor. The position estimation method based on the back electromotive force, which is widely used as the sensorless control method, has a limitation in that position errors occur due either to the phase delay caused by the use of a stationary coordinate system or to the estimated back electromotive force in the transient state caused by the use of a synchronous coordinate system. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method of estimating the position and velocity using a rotation angle tracking observer and reducing the speed ripple through a disturbance observer. An experimental apparatus was constructed using Freescale's MPU and the feasibility of the proposed algorithm was examined. It was confirmed that even if a position error occurs at a certain point in time, the position correction value converges to the actual vector position when the position error value is found.

  • In this paper, we propose a group playback synchronization method using adaptive synchronization delay time by the bit rate of media to synchronize a play position of streaming media between mobile smart devices. This method consists of streaming server-side and client-side synchronization algorithms based on synchronization delay time which includes connection time, control packet transmission time, streaming data buffering time, and synchronization processing time. We implement the Android media player application with synchronization support using the proposed algorithms and present the result of performance evaluation.
