Azimuth Accuracy of Correlative Interferometer Direction Finder on Airborne Scale-down Model (항공기 축소모델의 상관형 위상비교 방향탐지장치의 방위각 정확도)

  • This paper describes the azimuth accuracy of correlative interferometer direction finder on a scaled down airplane model. When the antennas are placed on the bottom of an airplane, reflection signals caused by an aircraft structure are arise and caused an azimuth error. In this paper, the F-16 fighter scale-down model was made to 5:1, and five antennas were placed on the bottom of the model. The accuracy was made by numerically analyzing the phases of the radio waves received by the five antennas when the signal of emitter was transmitted on $0-360^{\circ}$ azimuth angles. The azimuth error of the correlative interferometer direction finder on the model was measured to be less than $1.0^{\circ}$ when SNR was larger then 3dB, and it could be very useful for the design of the direction finder on airplane.

  • To get the highly-accurate and precise position of a GPS receiver, they should consider the state-of-the-art GPS force and measurement models. Especially, the phase center variations (PCV) of a GPS antenna can cause several centimeters of positioning errors in the vertical direction. In this study, we implemented four different models of PCV and evaluated their impact on the computed coordinates. The test data were taken from the 14 National Geography Information Institute permanent GPS stations and 30 Minisry of Government Administration and Home Affairs sites. For different combinations of calibration methods, an average of 1.3-2.6cm of height difference was observed. Also, we found a maximum error of ${\sim}4mm$ in the estimates of the precipitable water vapors.

  • Each system should have a suitable data model about their purpose for efficiently managing, analyzing, and manipulating data. And the usable range of application is determined by the data model, and suitable data models are being developed for each application. In GIS, diversity spatial data model is being developed too. The accuracy and update of the spatial data would be important for applying efficient application as well as the data modeling is important as constructing the spatial data structure. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to 1)compare domestic spatial data models with oversea spatial data models about their geometry model, topology model and visualizing method of 3D spatial data 2)to compare the features of the data model by analyzing each data structures. We 3)compare and analyze features of each spatial data models via the quantitative analysis of each spatial data models.

  • 현재 대규모 실내공간이 증가하고 있고, 이에 따른 화재 등의 사고가 발생함에 따라 화재대피시스템과 같은 실시간 실내 응용에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 학문적 연구 또는 상업용 시스템에서 사용되는 화재모델이내 보행자 모델은 대부분 2D 기반의 CAD와 같은 파일구조를 기반으로 하고 있으며 가상데이터를 이용한 시뮬레이션에 초점을 두고 있다. 따라서 이들을 실내 센서 등을 이용한 실시간 시스템으로 구축하기 위해서는 몇 가지 문제점들이 해결되어야 한다. 우선, 실내공간의 의미 있는 관계정보를 포함하는 위상적인 3D 모델이 필요하다. 또한, 실내 센서들에 의해 감지된 보행자의 이동을 저장하고, 저장된 데이터를 이용하여 실시간 안내를 위해서는 실내데이터 구축에 공간 DBMS를 이용해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 실내보행자 모델에서 두 가지 개선점을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째는, 간단한 3D 실내 모델구축과 공간 DBMS와 연계된 보행자 시뮬레이터를 구현하는 과정을 제시한다. 둘째는, 보행자의 가시성(visibility)에 대한 영향이 반영된, 개선된 floor field 모델을 제안한다. 이와 같은 과정을 캠퍼스 건물에 적용하고 시뮬레이션을 수행하는 과정을 예시하였다.

  • Recently, component-based software has become main trends in designing and developing computer software products. This component-based software has advantage of the interoperability on distributed computing environment and the reusability of pre-developed components. Also, GIS is designed and implemented with this component-based methodology, called Open GIS Component. OGC(OpenGIS Consortium) have announced various implementation and design specification and topic in GIS. In GIS, Spatial analysis functions like network analysis, TIN analysis are very important function and basically, estimate system functionality and performance using this analysis methods. The simple feature geometry specification is announced by OGC to increase the full interoperability of various spatial data. This specification includes just geometry spatial data model. However, in GIS which manages spatial data, not only geometric data but also topological data and various analysis functions have been used. The performance of GIS depends on how this geometric and topological data is managed well and how various spatial analyses are executed efficiently. So it requires integrated spatial data model between geometry and topology and extended data model of topology for spatial analysis, in case network analysis and TIN analysis in open GIS component. In this paper, we design analysis component like network analysis component and TIN analysis component. To manage topological information for spatial analysis in open GIS component, we design extended data model of simple feature geometry for spatial analysis. In addition to, we design the overall system architecture of open GIS component contained this topology model for spatial analysis.

  • The aim of this paper is to come up with a methodology of constructing an efficient model for multiple representations which can manage and reconcile real-time data about large-scale roads in Vector Domain. In other words, we suggested framework based on a bottom-up approach, which is allowed to integrate data from the network of the lowest level sequentially and perform automated matching in order to produce variable-scale map. Finally, we applied designed multi-LoD model to in-vehicle application.

  • In this paper, the lumped element model parameter estimation method and its implemented estimation software for fabricated floating mass transducers of IMEHDs have been presented so that the estimated parameter values could be compared with the designed ones and applied to predict the output performance when the transducers were implanted into human ears. The presented method is based on the sequential quadratic programming (SQP) for estimating parameters in the transducer's lumped model and has been implemented by the use of LabVIEW graphical language. Using the implemented estimation software, the accuracy of parameter estimation has been verified and our implemented estimation method has been evaluated by the comparison of the estimated transducer parameter values with the designed ones for a practically fabricated floating mass transducer for IMEHDs.

  • 초음파는 액체 및 고체의 매질 속에서도 그 전달 특성이 우수하여 수중 물체의 감지, 지질 조사 자원탐사뿐만 아니라, 의학 분야에서도 널리 사용되고 있다. 물체유동정보 측정방식에는 연속파를 이용한 도플러식과 펄스 신호를 이용한 도플러는 거리 분해능이 좋으므로 깊이에 따른 속도 정보를 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있으나, 수신되는 도플러 신호가 탐촉자의 특성과 매질 속에서의 전파특성 등에 의하여 송신된 신호와 파형이 다르고 복잡한 주파수 특성을 가지므로 연속파에서와 같이 도플러 주파수를 직접 측정하기 곤란하다. 도플러 주파수를 검출하기 위하여 여러 방법이 개발되어 있으나, 측정거리와 측정속도의 제약과 더불어, 실시간(real time) 처리에 의한 분포적 측정이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 시간 영역에서 국소 데이터를 이용하여 펄스 신호의 위상을 정의하고 실시간에서 펄스 신호를 위상으로 변환하는 신호 처리법을 제안하였다. 또한 이 신호 처리법을 응용하여 측정 범위의 위상 곡선에서 위상 차를 계산함으로써 평균 가속도와 유동속도정보를 분포적으로 얻을 수 있는 새로운 펄스 도플러 기법을 제안하였으며, 모델 신호를 만들어 제안된 방법의 유용성을 검토하였다.

Basic Study on Logical Model Design of Underground Facilities for Waterworks (상수도 지하시설물의 논리적 모델 설계에 관한 기초 연구)

  • This study proposes the logical data model design of a spatial data model that complies with international standards for the waterworks of underground facilities. We conduct a preliminary study related to underground spatial data standards and data models, and review the status of the existing systems. Then, we defined the conceptual design direction of underground spatial data model based on the problems and issues. Next, we defined the terminology, classification, semantic relationships of waterworks. Next, for the conceptual design of the underground spatial data model, we defined the naming criteria for all data according to the waterworks classification. In addition, a logical model is drawn and described using UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams. Based on the results, it is expected that the accuracy related to underground facilities data will be improved.

A deep learning method for the automatic modulation recognition of received radio signals (수신된 전파신호의 자동 변조 인식을 위한 딥러닝 방법론)

  • The automatic modulation recognition of a radio signal is a major task of an intelligent receiver, with various civilian and military applications. In this paper, we propose a method to recognize the modulation of radio signals in wireless communication based on the deep neural network. We classify the modulation pattern of radio signal by using the LSTM model, which can catch the long-term pattern for the sequential data as the input data of the deep neural network. The amplitude and phase of the modulated signal, the in-phase carrier, and the quadrature-phase carrier are used as input data in the LSTM model. In order to verify the performance of the proposed learning method, we use a large dataset for training and test, including the ten types of modulation signal under various signal-to-noise ratios.
