Research on Data Acquisition Strategy and Its Application in Web Usage Mining (웹 사용 마이닝에서의 데이터 수집 전략과 그 응용에 관한 연구)

  • Web Usage Mining (WUM) is one part of Web mining and also the application of data mining technique. Web mining technology is used to identify and analyze user's access patterns by using web server log data generated by web users when users access web site. So first of all, it is important that the data should be acquired in a reasonable way before applying data mining techniques to discover user access patterns from web log. The main task of data acquisition is to efficiently obtain users' detailed click behavior in the process of users' visiting Web site. This paper mainly focuses on data acquisition stage before the first stage of web usage mining data process with activities like data acquisition strategy and field extraction algorithm. Field extraction algorithm performs the process of separating fields from the single line of the log files, and they are also well used in practical application for a large amount of user data.

  • In recent years, the progress of Network and Web technology is made more demanding and pervasive of Web-based information systems. At the same time, the complexity of web applications has grown significantly. As a result, developers, users, and other stake-holders have become increasingly concerned about the manner in which complex Web-based systems are created as well as the level of system performance quality, and integrity. In this paper, we propose an efficient developing process and modeling environment of the web applications. Also, after modeling web application using the diagrams, web pages are extracted automatically. It is aimed at facilitating the desist implementation and maintenance of large, complex web applications and the reuse of previously gathered design experience.

  • Recently, the instances of communications between the applications and interaction applications using the Web services in the implementation of the business logics among the enterprises are spread widely. Therefore the efficient business operational models are more and more required. The usage of the services which guarantee the optimum level of service quality among the various Web services is also required. In this paper the Web services are analyzed. The required security and the service quality for the enterprises are analyzed. And then an e-Business operational model which is applicable to the enterprise business environment is proposed.

  • 자바는 설계 때부터 네트워크 상의 운영을 고려하여 설계된 언어이기 때문에 소켓 바인딩과 같은 기능을 제공하고 있고, 또한 TCP/IP 프로토콜과 URL 처리 기능을 제공하고 있는 HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) 프로토콜을 동시에 처리할 수 있기 때문에 WWW 서비스를 연동하는 웹서버를 구축하는데 적합한 언어이다. 현재의 인터넷은 점차적으로 발전하여 수요는 급격히 증가하고 있으나, 많은 사용자로 인해 네트워크의 성능저하와 서버의 처리 능력 한계로 인하여 사용자의 수요를 충족시키지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 이용한 네트워킹 프로그램에 있어 멀티쓰레드를 이용하여 응용프로그램을 작성하기 위한 쓰레드의 개요를 설명하고, 쓰레드를 활용한 풀을 구성하기 위한 제반 사항을 기술한다. 또한, 응용프로그램으로 동적 쓰레드, 서버 복제, 쓰레드 풀 웹 서버를 구현하여 성능을 분석한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a system model which is needed for integrating the secure role-based access control model into web-based application systems. For this purpose, firstly, the specific system architecture model using a user-pull method is presented. This model can be used as a design paradigm. Secondly, the practical system working model is proposed. which specifies the mechanism that performs role-based access control in the environment of web-based application systems. Finally, the comparison and analysis is shown in which the merits with the proposed system model is presented.

  • 본 논문은 WAP Gateway의 HTML Filter 구현에 대하여 다루고 있다. 웹 콘텐츠를 무선환경에 맞는 WML 문서로 변환하기 위한 HTML Filter 구조를 설계하고 이와 관련된 RuleSet Database, Parsing Engine, Markup Language Translator의 기능을 정의한다. 마지막으로, 확장성 있는 웹 서비스를 위해 실제 웹상의 콘텐츠를 대상으로 한 실험으로 통해 구현된 HTML Filter의 성능 평가의 분석을 수행하여 구현시 고려해야 할 사항 및 향후 연구방향에 대하여 논의한다.

  • This study measured whether web-based library user education represent web-based instruction theories in education. 9 criteria used were course-related instruction, collaborative learning, evaluation of tutorials, education of information retrieval, contents tables, multimedia interaction between users and librarians, navigational aids, variation of menus. The result showed that both contents and design of web sites were important for good web-based library user education.

  • This paper analyzes techniques that extract objective information from distributed web databases for bioinformatics based on relationship among information. Moreover, we discuss the design and implementation of a method for knowledge enhancement in respect of protein information. Web data extractor can be constructed by using a manual, semi-automatic, or automatic way. Data extractor generally makes use of identifiers in order to search and extract targeting information from a specified web page. This paper presents a design and implementation for the protein databases of an organism by utilizing web data extraction techniques.

  • Web robot is an important Internet software technology used in a variety of Internet application software which includes search engines. As Internet continues to grow, implementations of high performance Web robots are urgently demanded. For this, researches specially geared toward performance scalability of Web robots are required. Hoover, because researches are focused mostly on addressing issues related to commercial implementations, scientific researches and studies are not still made on the performance scalability. In this research, Ive choose a Web robot model implemented by fork-join based. multiprocesses. With respect to the model, we evaluate the effect on the collection efficiency that the timeout values set to requests from Web robots to Web servers have. Also, we analysed the behaviors of Web robots by comparing the execution time between the URL extraction and the uniqueness checking for the extracted URLs. as well as by comparing between the computation time and the network time. Based on the analysis result, we suggest the direction for the design of high performance Web robots.

  • 다양한 인터넷 응용 서비스의 등장으로 인해 웹 서비스에 대한 사용자 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 서비스 수준의 관리 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 지금까지의 연구는 웹서비스를 제공하는 서버의 성능향상에 초점을 두어 왔으나, 앞으로는 서비스에 대한 SLA를 만족시키기 위해 서비스를 제공받는 사용자가 느끼는 서비스 장애나 성능 저하에 대하여 원인을 분석하고 이에 대한 적절한 해결책을 제시해야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 관점에서 웹서비스의 성능저하에 대한 원인을 규명하기 위한 진단메커니즘을 제시하고, manager/agent 페러다임에서 발생하는 부하를 줄이고자 Mobile Agent를 이용하여 진단 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 논문의 결과로 응용서비스 제공자는 사용자나 망 제공자와의 서비스의 성능저하나 서비스 장애에 대한 책임규명을 명확히 함으로써 서비스에 대한 신뢰도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.
