The purpose of this paper is to evaluate usability quality through investigating the factors of usability for internet shopping mall websites. For this study, previous studies were investigated and experts' discussions were held. In result, six characters of usability were chosen such as content satisfaction. customer attraction satisfaction, price information satisfaction, public security satisfaction, user interface satisfaction. and process of transaction satisfaction that affect usability of shopping mall websites and the evaluation models of 72 detailed measure factors were established. Since these 72 sub-factors inc)ode the key words of HTML, XML, JSP, and ASP from the target websites. 33 measurable sub-factors in the information were measured through usability evaluation experiment. In addition, a questionnaire about usability measure factors was executed after preferable websites and not preferable websites are selected. After that, we verified the reasonability of usability measure model factors comparing the results of the evaluation experiment with the result of the questionnaire. The time it takes to measure the usability of shopping mall websites can be reduced by using this measurement supporting tool. Also, this tool may be used to estimate the usability during the development of a shopping mall website.

Due to rapid development of internet, it is easy to use extensive information networks of all over the world. Also development of information technology made all entities share information. Before internet websites were only used to give informations. If primary functions of research center's website are composed of supply of research data, exchange of information, and management of information, it is essential that efficient evaluation and reliable evaluation standards should be set up. This study's purposes are as follows. First, this investigates current status of RRC(Regional Research Center)'s websites. And deducted evaluation models, which can be applied to RRC based on literature study. By using the evaluation models, conducted evalution of websites both from internet users view and from outside experts view, and compared the two groups test results. Second, this study provides current problems of RRC's websites by analyzing the test results. Third, this study presents problems of RRC's websites management of primary funtions and management plans of RRC's websites.

We analyzed 18 representative Korean health information related web-sites for assessing confidence and satisfaction. The 18 representative web-sites are selected by rank information of a ranking web-site for Korean web-sites. In order to analyze confidence and satisfaction degrees on the 18 web-sites, we used 19 assessment criteria and 5 important elements of our former research paper. In the results, we found out the present states of confidence and satisfaction degrees of Korean health information web-sites and we presented methods for utilizing these results for web-site administrators and health consumers.

연구목적: 노인을 위한 건강정보 웹사이트들이 사용성과 접근성을 높이기 위해 지켜야 할 디자인 요소를 어떻게 반영하고 있는지 평가·비교함으로써 개선 방향을 제언하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 국내 및 미국에서 개발된 노인 대상의 건강정보 웹사이트를 각각 9개씩 선정하였다. 근거 기반의 웹디자인 지침서인 Make Your Website Senior Friendly: Checklist와 Research-based Web Design & Usability Guideline을 통합 수정하여 얻은 4개 영역의 평가 항목 48개를 적용해 두 명의 평가자가 선정된 총 18개 웹사이트를 평가하였다. 연구결과: '가독성' 영역 중 서체 선택, 줄 간격, 배경색과 글자색 선택 등은 양호하였으나 국내 웹사이트들 중에는 글자 크기가 조절되지 않는 경우가 빈번하였다. '정보의 표현과 구성' 영역에서 다수의 웹사이트들은 정보 배치 등이 우수하고 소비자 용어를 사용하는 노력을 보였다. 그러나 일부 국내 웹사이트들은 프린트 기능을 제공하지 않거나, 노인들의 저하된 인지 능력을 배려하려는 노력이 부족하였다. '미디어 사용' 영역에서 국내 웹사이트들은 글자 외에 다른 매체를 사용하는 빈도가 미국 웹사이트들에 비해 낮았고, 시청각 매체를 사용할 때는 동일한 내용을 문자로도 볼 수 있도록 하라는 권고안을 준수하지 않았다. '내비게이션과 검색의 용이성'에서는 메뉴나 링크의 명칭이 명확하며, 이용 중에도 쉽게 홈페이지로 돌아갈 수 있도록 구성되었다. 그러나 다수의 국내 사이트들이 사이트맵을 제공하지 않거나, 검색어의 철자오류 등에 대한 배려가 부족하였다. 결론: 국내 웹사이트들은 미국 웹사이트들에 비해 노인들의 사용성과 접근성을 높이는 것으로 밝혀진 연구 근거들을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있었다. 노인 대상의 인터넷과 웹을 활용한 교육이 지속적으로 증가할 것이므로, 그 효과성을 높이기 위해 간호사들은 정보의 질 뿐만 아니라 디자인 측면의 중요성을 인식하고 실천할 수 있어야겠다.

Diverse disciplines such as information science, computer science, cognitive science, and industrial design, are activity engaged in the website evaluation research efforts. Information scientists emphasize the importance of user-centered and user-friendly website design, which is also easy to use, This idea is based on the understanding that the users and the designers are different set of people. In addition, information scientists consider the practice of maximally incorporating user inputs during the website design to be very important guideline. However, this study is based on a newly emerging population of website users who are also designers. 218 study participants evaluated the websites that they designed in comparison to the websites designed by others. According to the survey data analysis, the study participants considered the content delivery, design simplicity, design consistency, and link access of the websites to be equally important from both users' and designers' perspectives. However, the content organization, rich content, and screen composition were underestimated from the designers' point of view whereas these factors were considered to be important from users' point of view.

This research uses the Analytical Hiararchy Process (AHP) to scientifically and systematically calculate the weightings of attributes as well as dimensions considered for assessing an informational website. The present paper aims at observing and using the computed weightings to comparatively examine the perceptions of customer users and business users. We use the 3C-D-T (i.e., Content, Community, Commerce, Design, and Technology) framework to conduct a case study where we review and assess restaurant websites and calculate attribute weightings on these websites. Data used for website review was collected in two phases. Data in the first phase was collected from customer users, and data in the second phase was from business users who had registered in the same websites. Users were instructed to perform a pairwise comparison of the relative importance of website attributes. Our data analysis revealed that the customer users and business users demonstrated different views on the relative importance of the individual attributes. Based on the findings, we suggested that business users of restaurants should adapt their views to the customers' views to minimize perceptional differences, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and accomplishing successful business outcomes.

전자상거래를 위한 인터넷의 웹사이트 구축 문제는 기업이나 조직의 중요한 새로운 마케팅 창구로서의 역할 때문에 그 중요성을 인식하고 효과적 디자인을 기반한 사이트구축이 이슈화 되었다. 그리하여 성공적인 인터넷 비즈니스를 위한 웹사이트의 구축 방법론이나 가이드라인의 연구가 필요하게 되며, 최근 소비자의 행동을 분석하여 이를 소비자 구매욕구를 증진시키는 방안으로 활용하여 전략적인 웹사이트를 구축하도록 제시하는 많은 연구들이 제시되고 있다. 그러나 전략적인 관점에서 웹사이트를 구축하거나 이미 구축된 웹사이트를 전략적 관점에서 개편하려고 할 때 사용될 수 있는 뚜렷한 방법론이 존재하지 않기 때문에 이런 관점의 분석모형이 절대적으로 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전략 형성과정에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 FCM(Fuzzy Cognitive Map)을 소개하고 이를 바탕으로 보다 구체적인 웹사이트 디자인 요소를 분석, 평가 할 수있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 FCM기반의 분석은 웹사이트의 성공요인들로 꼽히는 요인들간의 인과관계를 고려하여 웹사이트 구축의 요인간의 영향력의 민감도 분석을 할 수 있는 접근법으로서의 활용도가 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to review information services in public libraries based on web sites. Four evaluation criteria. interface. searching, contents and communication are usually used to measure web sites. Because interface and searching are contained hardware elements, these are not included to this review. For this study contents and communication are examined into operating at public libraries web sites. Also analyzed is gateway function providing community information services and researchers information.
