Geotechnical information database, foundation of underground geographic information system in 2nd NGIS plan, had been developing by Ministry of Construction and Transportation since 2000. This database contains not only soil condition, such as depth, type and color of layer, and ground water level, but also engineering properties used for foundation design and construction, for instance, standard penetration test, compression test. But, it is difficult to apply this database for analyzing and designing geotechnical works, because report document is only offered. In this paper, we have developed web-based geospatial information system for the effective uses. First, underground cross-section model is generated by location, layer, and engineering properties of geotechnical information database at the realtime process. Second, earth volume, bearing capacity, and settlement is calculated and potentials of soft ground, liquefaction are evaluated through pre-defined empirical formula. This process is operated by web-based client. We wish to strengthen the application capacity through this system in construction planning and design works.

REST 웹 서비스는 HTTP 프로토콜을 통해 손쉽게 적용 및 배포할 수 있다. 최근 다양한 정보시스템의 데이터베이스가 REST Open API 웹서비스를 통하여 배포되고 있으며, 이는 스마트폰 애플리케이션, 웹(Web) 등의 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 오픈 API 에 대한 시스템의 성능의 포인트에 서비스 평가를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구는 REST 오픈 API 의 수행 성능 평가를 통하여 REST 오픈 API 웹 서비스의 확장성에 초점을 둔다. 이를 위해 REST 오픈 API 가 미래에 모바일 클라우드 플랫폼으로써 충분한 성능 및 활용될 수 있는지 검증할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 큐잉 네트워크(Queueing Network)을 활용하여 REST Open API 웹서비스 서버 시스템을 모델링하고 성능을 분석하였다.

In this study, we developed the web-based system evaluating the construction information level considering the characteristic of business of the construction company. According to the business, if a construction company answer to the information evaluation questions and inputs its information goal, the web-based system provides the construction information score and the comparative report to the result of companies which are the similar business type and scale. Moreover this system presents the information strategy to achieve company's information goal based on the present information level. This study will enable to a construction company to improve the level of IT in the construction industry and to increase IT investments.

Recently, product design innovation to improve user experience has been perceived as a core element of enterprise competitiveness due to the fierce market competition and decrease of the technological gap between companies, but there is insufficient services to support the product experience evaluation of small and medium-sized companies (SMCs). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based product user experience evaluation and certification system supporting product design practices for SMCs. For system interface design, we conducted systematic functional requirement elicitation methods such as user survey, workflow analysis, user task definition, and function definition. Then main functions, information structure, navigation method, and detailed graphic user interfaces were developed with consideration of user interactions and requirements. In particular, it provides the databases for evaluation efficiency to support the evaluation process above a certain level of performance and efficiency, and knowledge databases to utilize in the evaluation and product design improvement. With help of the developed service platform, It is expected that the service platform would enhance SMCs' product development capability with regard to the user experience evaluation by connecting the consulting firms with SMCs.

웹 상에서 인터넷을 이용한 전자상거래와 관련된 다양한 서비스가 창출되고 있다. 온라인 쇼핑몰에서 발전된 개념인 온라인 경매시스템은 쇼핑몰과는 달리 물품등록, 입찰 및 낙찰, 물품거래의 과정을 거친다 그러나, 대부분의 경매시스템은 입찰 및 낙찰과정에서 거래 당사자간에 신뢰성 있는 가격을 결정짓지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 가격 결정 방식에 따른 인터넷 경매의 종류와 유형을 분석한 후 경매 시스템 사용자들에게 사례 유사도와 웹 마이닝을 이용한 가격 정보를 제시하여 객관적인 기준으로 경매 물품의 가치를 평가할 수 있도록 하고, 표준화된 데이터 표현 방법인 XML을 이용한 인터넷 경매 시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 감성 기반으로 텍스타일을 자동으로 색인하고 검색 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 영상 수집기, 감성 색인기, 검색기(Matcher), 질의 인터페이스로 구성되어 있다. 감성 색인기는 텍스타일 영상에 포함된 컬러와 패턴 정보를 기반으로 감성개념을 인식하고, 이를 이용하여 영상을 색인한다. 이때, 감성 어휘로 고바야시가 정의한 8개 (romantic, natural, casual, elegant, chic, classic, dandy, modern)를 사용한다. 질의 인터페이스에서 사용자는 두 가지 방식으로 질의를 선택할 수 있다. 첫 번째 방법은 감성 키워드를 사용하는 것이고, 두 번째는 사용자의 의도를 설명할 수 있는 영상을 이용하는 예제 기반 질의 방식이다. 질의가 주어지면, 검색기는 랭킹 알고리즘을 사용하여 검색 결과를 생성한다. 이 때, 유사도 비교방식은 선택된 질의방식에 따라 달라진다. 제안된 시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위해 웹 검색에 익숙한 50명(남자: 32명, 여자: 18명)을 대상으로 웹에서 수집한 3,416 장에 대해서 3가지 항목으로 사용자 평가를 하였다. 사용자 평가의 항목인 적합도(Relevance), 노력(Search Effort), 만족도(Satisfaction)의 결과로 사용자가 검색한 결과영상에서 적합도의 수치가 낮게 나왔지만, 만족도와 노력의 수치는 높게 평가되었다. 제안된 시스템에서 사용자는 자신이 선호하는 결과 영상을 상위 40개의 영상 내에서 얻을 수 있었다. 이는 제안된 시스템이 사용자들이 원하는 영상을 효율적으로 검색할 수 있다는 것을 증명했다.

현대 사회에서 개발되는 제품이나 시스템, 소프트웨어는 개발자 중심을 벗어나 사용자 중심으로 변화하고 있으며 개발 단계에서 사용자의 사용성이 중요한 요소로 대두되고 있다. 교육용 소프트웨어에 대한 평가는 교수전략, 내용, 기술적 특성 둥을 중심으로 이루어지고 있는데 이는 개발자나 평가주체의 관점으로 실시되고 있으며, 실제 교육용 소프트웨어를 최종 사용하게 될 학생 중심의 사용성 평가는 미비한 실정이다. 교육용 소프트웨어를 사용할 학습자에게 가장 편리하고 쉬운 사용성을 확보해 준다는 것은 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어의 사용성 평가 기준, 웹 사이트의 평가 기준, 교육용 소프트웨어의 평가 기준을 분석하고 사용성의 평가요소를 추출하여 웹 기반 교육용 소프트웨어의 사용성 평가 기준을 제시하고자 한다.

With the growth of the Internet, web-based cyber education is progressing from the text-based to the hyper-based including multimedia, and from one way of simply giving the contents to the learner to another way of providing mutual interaction between the instructor and the learner. For this, there uses the RIA-based dynamic application and multimedia. RIA, which is the new paradigm on the web, provides the learners with more effective and rich contents. For developing a cyber education system, if we use the existing web languages, a large amount of effort is needed. But if we use the RIA-based paradigm, we can remarkably reduce the effort. Also, in developing a new web-based cyber education system the RIA paradigm makes the learners to satisfy their demands, and in developing the system providing the interaction the paradigm gives us the way minimizing the time and effort. In this paper, we compare and evaluate the efforts in developing the RIA based education system with the Non-RIA based education system.

This study is to suggest the usefulness of visualization techniques to display web retrieval results. We described the concept of visualization techniques and evaluated the usability for the SearchCrystal and KartOO search engines which provide visualization techniques for displaying the retrieval results. As a result, Searchcrystal search engine had higher score than KartOO system in terms of usability check lists.

Recently, web based virtual trainings in the teacher training are on the increase. However, we have evaluated only about hardware systems of virtual training systems and considered a question in their good aspects. Now, it is time we evaluate the problems of virtual training systems and search the solutions of them. However, we have no chance to evaluate of problems of each virtual training systems. Therefore, we will analysis management aspects some web based virtual training courses and propose the solutions of them.
