Collaborative filtering systems based on ｛user-document｝ matrix are effective in recommending web documents to user. But they have a shortcoming of decreasing the accuracy of recommendations by the first rater problem and the sparsity. This paper proposes the automatic preference rating method that generates user profile to solve the shortcoming. The profile in this paper is content-based collaborative user profile. The content-based collaborative user profile is generated by combining a content-based user profile with a collaborative user profile by mutual information method. Collaborative user profile is based on ｛user-document｝ matrix in collaborative filtering system, thus, content-based user profile is generated by relevance feedback in content-based filtering systems. After normalizing combined content-based collaborative user profiles, it automatically rates user preference by reflecting normalized profile in ｛user-document｝matrix of collaborative filtering systems. We evaluated our method on a large database of user ratings for web document and it was certified that was more efficient than existent methods.

In this study, to establish a web-based bridge monitoring system with wireless sensor network environment, we constructed microminiaturized sensor based wireless communication techniques and micro processing, databases for data combination and administration, variable control programs and processors for transferring data by internet. Then those data are measured and analyzed by the constructed bridge monitoring system with wireless sensors. To evaluate the practicability of the bridge monitoring system with wireless sensor, we compared the values measured in the tests with wire sensor under same conditions. The results show that the trend of the data obtained from the monitoring systems with wire sensors and wireless sensors was very similar but the some lost data in the communication process with wireless sensor network environment. And through laboratory and field tests, the effectiveness and the applicability of the proposed methods were verified.

인터넷의 급속한 보급과 웹 인터페이스를 기반으로 하는 사내 전산 시스템인 인트라넷(Intranet) 어플리케이션 개발이 보편화되고 있다. 그러나 인트라넷 도입에는 기존 시스템 및 데이터베이스와의 연동, 사내의 고유한 업무흐름(Workflow), 성능 및 보안 요구사항이 있어 패키지 형태의 인트라넷 제품은 그 확장성와 적용성에 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인트라넷 어플리케이션 개발에 재사용될 수 있는 공통 기능 모듈들을 재사용 신기술인 '객체지향 프레임워크' 방식을 적용함으로써, 기업에서 인트라넷 어플리케이션을 개발할 때에 비용이나 기간을 단축하여 높은 효율을 갖고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 전자상거래 데이터베이스를 대상으로 결합범주문법을 이용한 자연언어질의 인터페이스를 구현한다. 이를 위해 질의문을 분석하고 표현 방법을 논의한다. 또한 SQL 형식언어로 변환하기 위한 어휘 표현 및 유도 방법을 보인다. 제안하는 방법은 구문분석 과정에서 SQL 형식의 질의문을 직접 유도하는 것으로 기존 연구에서 제안됐던 중간논리언어 변환단계를 거치지 않으므로 과정이 간결해져 시스템의 성능향상을 가져올 수 있다. 시스템은 웹 기반과 client/server 구조로 구현된다.

In recent days, pc can process many things that mainframe have processed. Especially, in the transition from mainframe to pc, industries have needed the capabilities of Real Time information processing and Real Time monitoring for information control. But to support Real Time properties, it's needed to add Real Time modules and verify them. In this dissertation, we implemented and verified the Real Time System to support Real Time property. In addition, we implemented Web-based Real Time Monitoring System for Real Time information monitoring.

This study aimed to improve our understanding of users' cognitive processes based on think aloud protocols generated during the retrieval process of an online database. It analyzed think aloud protocols generated by participants while performing pre-defined tasks using an online database. The protocols were encoded using the open coding method. As the results, four broad categories including retrieval, system format, system functionality, and information were drawn, and 21 detailed categories were generated. Based on the results, suggestions for the design of online databases were provided.

Web-Based Education System changed from one side transmission of information to bi-directional information exchange with user. Accordingly, It had been implemented on 3-tier models with each function separation using database and server side language such as CGI (Common Gateway Interface). But, The CBSD(Component Based Software Development) techniques receives many interests recently, and efforts to apply this are appearing. Thus, In this research implemented component base question solving system. For this, I used EJB(Enterprise Java Beans) that is web server component model, and used Petri-Net for typical specification about message flow between components.

최근 인터넷의 급속한 성장과 빠른 보급, 정보통신 분야의 기술퓨전 현상들은 인터넷을 이용한 다양한 콘텐츠의 개발을 가속화시키고 있다. 특히 멀티미디어 스트리밍 기술은 일반 사용자들에게 동영상은 물곤 풍부한 멀티미디어 데이터 전송을 통하여 능동적인 대화형 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 장점들을 가지고 있다. 비디오 편집시스템은 데이터의 종류에 따라서 제안된 알고리즘과 자동/수동 분류방식을 이용하여 장면전환 검출의 정확성과 효율성을 높이고자 하였으며, 사용자의 요구에 적합한 의미 정보들을 추출하고 편집하여 내용기반 데이터베이스 시스템을 구축하고자 하였다. 또한 원격에서 웹을 통한 브라우징 서비스를 통하여 데이터베이스로부터 사용자의 요구에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 비디오 브라우징 서비스를 제공하고자 하였다.

본 연구에서는 학생과 교수를 주체로 하는 다수의 과목에 대한 출결처리와 수강학생 관리에 관한 업무를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 닷넷 기반의 학생관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템의 구성은 크게 학생관리 서버 시스템, 학생관리 클라이언트 시스템, 출석처리 시스템으로 나누어진다. 학생관리 서버 시스템은 데이터베이스, 웹 서버, 시스템 관리 서버로 구성하였으며, 학생관리 클라이언트 시스템은 교수용 학생관리 모듈과 학생용 수강관리 모듈로 구성하였다.

본 논문에서는 G7과제의 일부로 수행 중인 주거/사무환경에서 인간의 감성을 지표화하는 감성기반기술개발 연구과제에서 생성된 피험자의 생리신호 및 주관적 감성평가 데이터를 관리하기 위한 감성정보관리 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안한 감성정보관리시스템에서는 사용자에게 정교한 GUI와 높은 응답성을 제공하기 위해 2계층 클라이언트/서버 (2-tier client/server) 구조를 기본적으로 사용하고 있으며, 감성정보의 조회 부분은 외부 사용자에게 접근의 용이함을 제공하기 위해 웹 인터페이스를 추가적으로 지원하였다. 그리고 대용량 생리신호(EEG) 데이터를 병렬 전송한 다음, 데이터베이스에 저장하기 위해서 서버 쪽에 일부 응용논리를 배치하였다.
