2008년 상반기 인쇄업은 내수 경기 부진의 지속과 약화, 원재료구입가격의 급등으로 어려움을 겪었다. 반면 수출은 지속적으로 호조를 보였다. 한국은행에서 조사한 2008년도 BSI 통계에 따르면 인쇄업계의 업황은 1~4월까지 지난 2007년과 큰 차이가 없었으나 5월 이후 72, 63의 수치를 기록하며 하반기 전망을 어둡게 했다. 이는 지난해 71~85의 수치와 비교할 때 80(1월), 76(2월), 79(3월), 72(5월), 63(6월)으로 4월까지는 엇비슷하지만 5월 이후 13, 15로 차이가 크게 벌어지고 있으며 주원인은 급등하고 있는 원재료구입가격에 따른 것으로 보인다.

In the light of the fact that Cryptorrhynchus lapathy Linne (Coleoptera: Cur-culionidae) is an important past of poplar in korea the Bionomics of the insect were studied to get some basic informations for controlling the insect. The results obtaind are as follows; 1. The poplar and willow borer has one generation in a year overwintering with egg. 2. The pupation stage was from the middle Julne to the middle July. 3. The adult appears from the early July to the middle August. 4. The average length of body of adult was about 8.5cm with female, 7.9cm with male and the length of pupa was about 11.3cm. 5. The average longevities of adults were about 30 days with mate and 40 days with female. 6. The length of damage hole were about 10.3cm. 7. The egg-laying period was from July to August.

2004년 12월 17일, 정부혁신위원회는 가족정책을 기존 보건복지부에서 여성부로 이관 할 계획이라고 밝혔는데, 지난 3월 2일 국회 본회의에서 이와 관련된 '정부 조직법'이 통과됨으로써 오는 5월부터 본격적으로 가동되게 된다. 이는 여성부가 여성가족부로 확대, 개편됨에 따라 앞으로 가족정책을 모두 총괄하는 기능을 갖는 다는 의미인데, 작년 사회복지제도가 격렬하게 반대의견을 내건 '건강가정기본법'과 '모.부자복지법이 이관된다. 이 같은 변화는 지난 2001년 여성의 권익증진, 차별개선 등 여성정책 시행을 위해 여성부가 출범하여 지난해 '영유아보육 업무'를 이관 받은 뒤 5년도 체 안되어 가족업무까지 맡겨져 여성부의 어깨를 한층 더 무겁게 하는 것이다. 정부혁신지방분권위는 작년 말 이 같은 계획을 발표하여 전통적 가족구조가 무너져 가족해체 현상이 크게 나타나며, 이에 대한 국가차원의 종합적인 예방정책의 1단계로 이같이 조정했다고 밝혔다. 그리고 이전부터 여성청소년가족부를 만들어 통합관리하자는 주장을 제기해 온 여성부도 이번 변화에 대해 굳은 의지를 보였다.

Growth environments of Cypripedium macranthum Sw. habitats distributed in mountains and highland plains of northern part of Kyunggi-do and Kangwon-do in Korea, were studied in order to obtain basic data. Mean temperature in habitats of Cypripedium macranthum was $14^{\circ}C$ and minimum value was recorded $-7^{\circ}C$ in January, and maximum value was $28^{\circ}C$ in August. Mean soil temperature of the orchid sites was $11^{\circ}C$ and minimum value was $-4^{\circ}C$ in January. The light intensity from March to May was 48,000~51,400 lux and the lowest value was 11,500 lux in July. Light intensity in shade habitat sites from July to August was dropped to 470~865 lux, and the SPAD value was 34.3 in July, which was the highest of the year. The range of soil acidity was pH 5.6~5.8 and soil moisture was 16.4%~36.2%. The highest soil moisture was 36.2% on June. The Cypripedium habitats were correlated with temperature (especially high temperature), light intensit, and soil moisture. However, critical factor seems to be soil moisture in distribution of Cypripedium macranthum in Korea.

한국산 관박쥐(Rhinolophusfemmequinum koran의 웅성생식 pattern을 알아보기 위하여, 1년 주기를 통한 정소상체 이부로의 정자유입, 정자저장 및 정자소멸에 따른 상피세포와의 상관관계를 조사하여, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 정소로부터 정자유입과 정자저장 및 정자소멸에 관련하여 볼때, 정소상체 미부는 2단계의 정화기간(cleaning time)을 가진다. 첫째로, 동면 각성시기인 4월부터 6월까지는 오래된 저장정자를 파괴시켜 새로운 정자를 받아들이기 위한 준비단계로서 둘째로, 정차과정은 7월에서 8월까지 계속되는[tl 이는 7월부터 새로운 정자와 함께 유임된 기형 정자세포,기형 정자 및 기타 잔여 노페물질을 제거하여 성숙된 정자만을 보유함으로서 곧 교미기를 맞이하기 위한 준비단계로서 정화기간을 가진다. 따라서, 1년 주기를 통한 정소상체 이부의 정화기간은 동면 각성기인 4월부터 8월까지 약 5개월에 걸쳐 이루어진다. 한편, 교미가 끝난 11월부터 동면기를 거쳐 동연 각성기 전까지의 긴 기간동안에 정소상체 미부내의 저장된 정자는 급격한 변화를 가져오지 않았다. 이는 동면동안의 낮은 물질대사율과 관련이 있다고 생각된다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 보아 정자유입, 정자저장 및 정자소멸에 따른 정소상체 미부의 조직변화는 정소상체 미부내 상피세포의 분비 및 흡수의 조절작용에 의해 변학되는것이라 여겨진다.

This study aimed to investigate the change of wind speed during winter and summer seasons for 50 years(1961-2010). It were analyzed the mean wind speed, maximum wind speed, windy days and storm days on January and August of 13 weather stations in South Korea. The mean wind speed was decreased in the coastal region(Busan, Jeju, Ulsan, Pohang) in winter and summer seasons. Also it was similar to windy day. The relationship between wind speed and mean temperature has negative correlation in winter season. The relationship is low in summer season. The number of windy day and storm day has negative relation with monthly mean temperature.

1. 1957년 8월 7일부터 18일까지 계룡산에서 고도차분포를 조사하기 위하여 고도별 4 지점에서 과물 (복숭아, 도마도) trap를 사용하여 오전 6시와 오후 6시에 동시에 초파리를 채집하였다. 그리고 sweeping 도 하여 총 33 종을 채집하였는데 다음종들은 높은 지점에서 발견되었다. Microdrosophila purpurata, Mycodrosophila basalis, Parascaptomyz disticha, Scaptomyza aplicalis , Drosophila histrioides, D.difasciata, D.histrio. 그리고 초파리의 성비가 고도에 따라 변동하였음을 관찰하였는데 특히. D. suzukii 는 저지에서 충이 현저히 많았던 것이 700미 고지에서는 거의 1 : 1의 성비를 보여주었다. 300 미높이의 (B) 지점에서 D.lacertosa 와D. Coracina 의 일주기활동은 반대적이었는데 D.lacertosa 는 습도가 높은 아침에 주로 활동하고, D.coracina는 이와 반대로 주로 오후에 활동하고 있음을 알았다. 2. 초파리 집단의 계절적 변동을 조사하기 위하여 1958년 4월부터 11월까지 매일 중순삼일씩 공주잠업시험소구내 상전에서 그리고 동년 5월 터 11월까지는 매일 초순삼일식 계룡산에서 각각 5개의 과물 trap를 설치하고 비교관찰하엿따. 매월 초파리종들의 계절적 변동은 3 표와 4 표에 기재된 바와같다. 특히 D.auraria는 두장소에서 우점종이었는데 공주잠업시험소구내 상전에서는 9월에 최고에 달했고, 계룡산에서는 8월에 최고에 달하는 unimodality를 표시하였다. 3 . 초파리의 일주기활동을 조사하기 위하여1959년 6월부터 10월까지 공주잠업시험소구내 상전에서 매월 2일간씩 2시간마다 채집을 하였다. 이 지방에서 우점종인 D.auraria 는 매월 일주기활동에 있어서 bimodality를 형성하였는데 9, 10월에는 두 peak는 서로 근접되었다. 그리고 6월 26일 2시간마다 sweeping 법으로 채집한 D.auraria의 일주기활동도 비교연구하였는데 거의 같은 현상을 나타냈다.

To study ecological characteristics of Eleocharis kuroguwai occuring in Korea its propagules were collected from 6 locations from the northern part to the southern part of Korea (Chuncheon, Suweon, Iri, Jeonju, Gwangiu and Milyang) in 1981, cultured and replanted 3 times (May 20, June 5, June 20) in 1982. They flowered from August 5 to August 27 when they were planted on May 20, and from August 20 to August 27 when they were planted on Tune 20. Plant height, number of tillers and top fresh weight/$m^2$ were 50-90cm, 500-875, and 175-750g, respectively when they were planted on May 20, and 40-70cm, 250-625, 325-625g, respectively when they were planted on June 20. Number of tubers per plant were 0.98-1.98 when they were planted on May 20, and 1.81-2.87 when they were planted on June 20. Eleocharis kuroguwai from Chuncheon or Suweon was more open in plant type, shorter in plant height, narrower in diameter of pedicel and shorter in inflorescence than those from Iri, Jeonju or Gwangju. Each of the local collections may be regarded as different ecotype, based on the above differences in morphology and responses in growth and flowering to the planting dates. The results appear to imply that Eleocharis kuroguwai weeds occurring in various locations of Korea are different one another in competitive avility with rice crop.

지난 10월 29일부터 10월 31일까지 동경 국제 포럼 전시장에서는‘동경 데이터베이스 2003(DATABASE 2003 Tokyo)’ 전시회가 개최됐다. 이와 함께 오사카에서는 10월 29일, 30일 양일간에 걸쳐 ‘인터미디어포럼 2003(INTERMEDIA FORUM 2003)’이 개최됐다. 최근 일본의 데이터베이스 및 GIS, 특허정보 등을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 동경 데이터베이스 전시회와 인터넷&모바일 솔루션 기술력을 느낄 수 있었던 인터미디어포럼의 현장을 소개한다.
