Error Resilient Scheme in Video Data Transmission using Information Hiding (정보은닉을 이용한 동영상 데이터의 전송 오류 보정)

  • This paper describes an error resilient video data transmission method using information hiding. In order to localize transmission errors in receiver, video encoder embeds one bit for a macro block during encoding process. Embedded information is detected during decoding process in the receiver, and the transmission errors can be localized by comparing the original embedding data. The localized transmission errors can be easily corrected, thus the degradation in a reconstructed image can be alleviated. Futhermore, the embedded information can be applied to protect intellectual property rights of the video data. Experimental results for 3 QCIF sized video sequenced composed of 150 frames respectively show that, while degradation in video streams in which the information is embedded is negligible, especially in a noisy channel, the average PSNR of reconstructed images can be improved about 5 dB by using embedded information. Also, intellectual property rights information can be effectively obtained from reconstructed images.

Mobile 3D Contents Watermarking Technique Based on Buyer-Seller Watermarking Protocol (Buyer-Seller 워터마킹 프로토콜 기반의 모바일 3D 콘텐츠 워터마킹 기법)

  • This paper presents a watermarking method for copyright protection and illegal copy prevention of mobile 3D contents. The proposed method embeds copyright information and user's phone number into spatial domain and encryption domain of mobile animation data based on Buyer-Seller watermarking protocol. Furthermore, we insert user's operation key so that only authorized user can play 3D animation game in mobile device. We implemented the proposed method by using mobile animation tool, G3-SDK. From experimental results, we verified that the proposed method is capable of copyright protection and illegal copy prevention since the watermark can be well extracted against geometrical attacks, such as noise addition, data accuracy variableness and data up/down scaling.

Audio Forensic Marking System for Copyright Protection of Streaming Music Service (스트리밍 음악 서비스의 저작권 보호를 위한 오디오 포렌식마킹 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a new audio forensic marking system for protecting the copyright of the Internet-based music streaming services. In the proposed method, in order to guarantee the QoS of the streaming service, high speed, and generates a forensic mark inserted MP3 file. We make pre-marking process and generate a new forensic marked MP3 file, a combination of the pre-marked MP3 frame, the inserted user information. Experimental results show that the proposed method satisfactory results robustness and imperceptibility, and real-time properties. In addition, we were confirmed that the real-time embedding and detection from the streaming-based audio forensic marking system that has been implemented on the server/client is possible.
