Breakdown Characteristics of Mixtures of $SF_6$ and Dry air under Uniform and Nonuniform Electric Field ($SF_6$와 Dry air가 혼합된 가스의 평등/불평등 전계에 의한 절연파괴특성 연구)

  • 본 연구는 $SF_6$와 Dry-air(건조공기)가 혼합된 절연매체의 절연 특성과 부분방전 특성 연구를 위하여 기초실험용 쳄버와 70kV급 GIS mock up 을 이용하여 교류전압을 인가하여 실험이 수행되었다. 전자의 경우, Sphere gap 및 Needle/Plate 전극시스템을 이용하여 순수 $SF_6$가스와 Dry-air의 절연내력을 비교하고, 챔버의 압력을 5기압으로 유지한 상태에서 Dry-air와 $SF_6$가스의 혼합비를 변화시키면서 절연내력이 측정되었다. 후자의 경우, 기초실험에서 도출된 $SF_6$가스와 Dry-air의 최적의 혼합비율을 선택한 후, 방전 개시전압과 부분방전 양상을 순수 $SF_6$가스의 결과와 비교 분석하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 GIS 사고의 주요원인이 되는 결함들, 즉 Protrusion, Floating, Free moving particle 들을 인위적으로 모의하여 Mock up 내부에 설치하고 내부 압력을 5기압으로 유지한 상태에서 수행되었다. 전자의 경우, $0.5{\sim}5$ 기압 범위내 에서 Dry-air 압력을 변화시켰을 때 절연내력은 전극시스템에 무관하게 순수 $SF_6$가스의 결과치의 $40{\sim}50%$정도이다. 또한 챔버 압력이 5기압일 경우, Needle/Plate 전극을 이용했을 경우, Dry-air 가 80% 혼합된 절연매체는 순수 $SF_6$가스 절연내력의 80%정도이다. 후자의 경우, 인가전압을 고정 시켰을 때, 부분방전 패턴과 방전크기는, 순수 $SF_6$가스와 Dry-air 가 80% 혼합된 절연매체는 동일한 패턴과 방전크기를 나타내고 있다. 이러한 결과를 근거로, 가스 압력이 5기압에서 운전되는 전력기기의 절연 매체로서 혼합가스를 사용할 경우, $SF_6$가스와 Dry-air의 혼합비는 2:8정도가 적절한 것으로 제안한다.

  • Recently, As increasing cleanroom size, Stocker system is trending the large size and long distance for LCD material transfer system. In order to rise a rate of production, the manufacturer are on the decrease of total tact time with Stocker system. And the manufacturer are requested to high speed of next generation Stocker system. Therefore, this paper propose Contactless Power Supply(CPS) system about high speed of next generation Stocker system. This paper proposes CPS system is applied in the long distance and straight section with Stocker system. The test results of input/output characteristic and efficiency of CPS system on operating pattern of Stocker system were analyzed, and proved the applicability on commercial use.

  • This paper introduces new concept elevator door system with linear induction motor(LIM) featuring simple structured and direct drive mechanism, which makes up for the weak points of the conventional complex structured door system. The optimal configuration of linear door system and the design results of linear LIM will be proposed in this paper and the validation of LIM design results will be investigated through the test. In this study, high performance of drive controller applied vector control and optimum drive pattern also are suggested. In addition, this paper describes details of designing and manufacturing process of linear door system and investigates the performance by analysis and test. The analytical and experimental results of this paper are considered as the productive data for the development of new elevator door system.

경수로 원자로 냉각재 CRUD 대표시료 채취 기술에 관한 고찰

  • 국내 경수로 원전의 경우, 원전의 효율적, 경제적 운영차원에서 장주기 운전으로 패턴을 바뀌면서 핵연료봉 표면상에 크러드(crud)의 침적량은 점점 증가하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 경향은 원자로의 출력 제어와 직결되면서 이에 대한 문제 해결을 위한 대표성이 있는 시료의 채취와 재현성이 있는 부식 생성물의 측정이 요구되어져 왔다. 원자로 계통 내에서 부식생성물의 농도변화에 대한 평가, 특히 입자농도가 증가되어지면 축방향 출력편차(Axial Offset Anomaly, AOA)가 발생될 수 있는 위험에 노출되거나, 핵연료 교체를 위해 발전소 정지시(shut down) 부식생성물의 방출이 급격히 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 입자성을 띤 물질은 존재의 특성상 이들 물질에 대한 대표시료의 채취가 어려울 뿐 아니라 grab 채취로 인해, 분석결과에 대한 재현성이 낮으며 계통 선량율의 제어와 작업자 피폭관리에 많은 어려움이 뒤따르고 있어 선진 원전 운영국에서는 앞 다투어 대표시료를 채취 할 수 있는 capillary sampling 법이나 integrated sampling법을 적용해 오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 경수로 원전에서 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 grab sampling 법에 대한 문제점 파악과 해외 원전에서 사용 중인 capillary sampling 법의 국내 적용 가능성에 대해 살펴보았다.

  • 태양광발전시스템은 낮은 효율의 PV 패널을 사용하여 최대의 전력을 생산하기 위해 PV 패널의 최대전력점에서 운전하는 MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) 제어가 반드시 필요하다. 기존의 MPPT 알고리즘은 대부분 경사법에 기초하고 있으며 그 중 대표적인 방법이 P&O(Perturb and Observe) 알고리즘이다. P&O 알고리즘의 MPPT 성능을 좌우하는 두 가지 인수는 MPPT 제어주기와 변량전압의 크기이다. MPPT 제어기의 빠른 동특성과 극대화된 효율을 위한 최적의 MPPT 제어주기와 변량전압의 크기를 결정하기 위해서는 실제 날씨 환경에서 다양한 일사량 프로파일 패턴에 대한 MPPT 제어기의 성능분석이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 대한민국 중부지역의 전형적인 맑은 날씨와 흐린 날씨에서 실제 일사량을 측정하고, 취득한 일사량데이터를 기초로 저자가 개발한 다이오드 등가모델을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이를 기반으로 MPPT 제어주기의 설정값에 따른 PV 패널의 전력생산량을 예측하여 MPPT 목표 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 최적의 MPPT 제어주기를 제시한다.

Analysis of On-Line Partial Discharge Patterns in High Voltage Motor Stator Windings (고압전동기 고정자 권선의 운전중 부분방전 패턴 분석)

  • During normal machine operation, partial discharge(PD) measurements were performed with turbine generator analyzer(TGA) in two high voltage motors. Two 6.6kV motors were installed with 80pF capacitive couplers at the terminal box. The PD patterns were displayed two dimensional and three dimensional. TGA summarizes each plot with two quantifies such as the normalized quantity number(NQN) and the peak PD magnitude(Qm). Off-line PD measurements were conducted on one 4.16kV motor. The motor was energized to 2.4kV, 3.0kV, 3.5kV and 4.16kV, respectively. The PD levels in pC were measured with a conventional digital PD detector. The comparison of positive to negative PD indicates whether the defect elements of PD are within the insulation or on the insulation surface. Discharge at conductor surface was discovered in No. 1 motor. Internal discharges were generated in phase A, B and C of No. 2 motor, Slot discharges occurred in three phases of No. 3 motor.

  • To respond effectively to climate change following the launch of the new climate system, the government is seeking to expand the use of distributed power resources. Among them, the district heating system centered on Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is accepted as the most realistic alternative. On the other hand, the government recently announced the change of energy paradigm focusing on eco-friendly power generation from the base power generation through $8^{th}$ Basic Plan for Long-term Electricity Supply and Demand(BPE). In this study, we analyzed the quantitative effects of profit and loss on the CHP operating business by changing patterns of the heat production, caused by the change of energy paradigm. To do this, the power market long-term simulation was carried out according to the $7^{th}$ and $8^{th}$ BPE respectively, using the commercialized power market integrated analysis program. In addition, the CHP operating model is organized to calculate the power and heat production level for each CHP operation mode by utilizing the operating performance of 830MW class CHP in Seoul metropolitan area. Based on this, the operation optimization is performed for realizing the maximum operating profit and loss during the life-cycle of CHP through the commercialized integrated energy optimization program. As a result, it can be seen that the change of the energy paradigm of the government increased the level of the ordered power supply by Korean Power Exchange(KPX), decreased the cost of the heat production, and increased the operating contribution margin by 90.9 billion won for the 30 years.

A Study on Train Braking Performance Assessment Methods Using Braked Weight Percentage (제동중량비율을 이용한 도시철도차량 제동성능 평가방법 연구)

  • In this study, we evaluate the braking performance of an urban railway vehicle to verify its basic safety condition. The braking performance evaluation methods, deceleration measurement and braked weight percentage, were compared for trains with different numbers of cars, in order to assess the advantages of each method and their compatibility. With a probabilistic braking model, the effect of the adhesion coefficient distribution was analyzed in accordance with the train composition. A train with many cars has a narrower deceleration distribution width than one with few cars. The braked weight percentage method is expected to be useful in the design of train signal systems, because it allows the braking distance to be calculated for various initial brake velocities. The deceleration distribution model and its results are expected to be useful as a basis for precise train signal design.

  • The failure of water-cooled generator stator windings as a result of insulation breakdown due to coolant water leaks and water absorption often occurs worldwide. Such failure can cause severe grid-related accidents as well as huge economic losses. More than 50% of domestic generators have been operated for over 15 years, and therefore, they exhibit signs of aging. Leaking and water-absorbing windings are often found during an overhaul. In an existing method for evaluating the integrity of generator stator windings, the drying process of the interior of the windings is ignored and only final leak tests are performed. In this study, it is shown that water leaks and water absorption in stator windings can be detected indirectly through vacuum pattern analysis in the vacuum drying mode, which is the used in the preparation stage of the leak test.

Development of a Diagnosis Algorithm of Influent Loading Levels Using Pattern Matching Method in Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) (연속회분식반응기에서 패턴매칭방법을 이용한 유입수 부하수준 진단 알고리즘 개발)

  • DO, ORP and pH values measured during SBR operation can provide information about removal reaction of organic contaminants and nutrient materials in the reactor. It is already generalized control strategy to control reaction phase time using their special patterns indicating the end of the removal reactions. However, those informations are limited to point out the end time of oxidative reaction in the aerobic phase or reductive reaction in the anoxic phase without giving quantitative value of influent loading level. In this research, a diagnosis algorithm which can estimate the loading level of carbon and ammonia as high, medium and low was developed using the basic measurements like DO, ORP, and pH. It will be possible to know the level of influent loading rate from those online measurements without experimental analysis.
