  • 화력발전소 보일러 배관은 복합한 형상과 다양한 형태로 용접되어 발전소 외관을 감싸고 있다. 발전소 운전에 필수적인 부분을 차지하기 때문에 주기적으로 발전소 점검기간에 모든 용접부위를 검사하여 품질 이상 부분에 대해서는 교체 작업 및 보수 작업을 수행해야한다. 지금까지는 작업자를 통한 검사이다보니 부정확성과 반복 결과가 유지되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 방사선 투과 검사모듈을 장착한 자동화 검사 플랫폼을 제안한다.

  • This paper presents improvement of the production process of a unified fuel heater with the help of the performance evaluation system. In order to enhance a starting capability of diesel-engine car, the unified fuel heater is proposed, which consists of main body, upper plate, stopper, lower plate, PTC, screw, bimetal and terminals. In the proposed heater, the sensor is combined with heater body not only to maximize the performance of car but also to reduce the production cost. The performance test chamber is proposed to evaluate the performance of heater. Especially, an effective manufacturing progress for assembling the heater elements can cut down expenses.

월성1호기 중수증기 회수계통 운전원의 운전능력 향상

  • 월성1호기의 경우 운전원이 중수증기 회수계통 현장 검사(Survey)에 약 3시간 정도를 소요하고 있으며, 자료의 분석과 수집을 위해 각 기기 제어반(Panel)에 기록계(Recorder)를 설치하여 기록된 기록지를 통해서 작업해야 만 한다. 이처럼 기존 설비의 경우 운전원은 많은 시간과 작업 부담을 갖고 운전하게 될 뿐만 아니라 다른 계통을 점검하는데 필요한 많은 시간을 얻기가 어려운 형편이다. 그러나 PLC SYSTEM 내의 한 부분인 공정감시제어를 위한 MMI(Man Machine Interface) SOFTWARE를 사용하여 조사할 경우 약 3분이면 중수증기회수 전 계통을 점검할 수 있고, 경향감시(Trend) 기능을 사용하면 기록계 설치 없이도 과거나 현재의 변화 추이 및 문제점 분석은 물론 계통 결함 발생시 발생되는 경보기능으로 운전원의 신속한 인지가 가능하게 된다.

A Study of Cognitive Function and Driving Status of Elderly Owner Driver (노인운전자들의 인지기능과 운전실태에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide some basic information for elderly driving safety, by analyzing the current state. This study analyzed 128 survey questionnaires given to senior welfare center user in P city and evaluated Montreal Cognitive Assessment Korean Version(MoCA-K) and Neurobehavioral Cognitive Status Examination(NCSE) for checked 41 owner drivers by questionnaires. 32% of total elderly persons was owner driver, and 56.1% of elderly drivers was driving everyday. 56.1% of elderly persons was driving for 1-2hours per day. 46.3% of elderly persons was using a car for leisure activity and 31.7% of elderly drivers was experienced a car accident. As cognitive function evaluation, some elderly drivers showed scores lower than average in subcategories of cognitive functions for driving a car. So, methodical evaluation system for accurate evaluation of deficit ability and driving re-education system will be required for safety driving of elderly person. In future, a legal approach of government as driver licence management and renewal system will be required for safety driving of elderly person.

Development and Validation of Situation Awareness Tests for Commercial Drivers (사업용 운전자를 위한 상황인식 검사의 개발과 타당화)

  • This research aimed to investigate whether commercial drivers' situation awareness ability is related to their frequency and magnitude of caused accidents and penalty points. For the purpose of measuring drivers' situation perception and interpretation capacities, two tests named 'situation awareness test' and 'hazard perception test' were developed. The tests were based on the data from 299 commercial drivers (test drivers) using a driving simulator. The outcome of drivers' performance on situation awareness and hazard perception tests was designed to be categorized into 5 grades, classifying the best as grade 1 and the worst as grade 5. As the result, low grades on situation awareness test had positive relationship with accumulated penalty points, frequency of accidents and safety index. Grades on hazard perception test were also positively correlated with accident frequency and safety indices. This suggests situation awareness ability of commercial drivers is significantly related to traffic violations and accident causing tendencies.

Clinical Usefulness on K-MBI for Decision of Driving Rehabilitation Period in Patients with Stroke: A pilot study (뇌졸중 환자의 운전재활 시기 결정을 위한 K-MBI의 임상적 유용성: 예비 연구)

  • Background & Object: Basic daily activity screening tool such as the Modified Barthel Index (MBI) has been used commonly in rehabilitation clinic and community based rehabilitation setting. Previous studies have shown the significant relations between the level of daily activities and driving ability on stroke or elderly people. However, there is a lack of studies to investigate the usefulness of MBI on prediction of driving ability for stroke patient. This study was to predict driving abilities of stroke survivor using Korean version Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI). Methods: A sample of 48 patients with stroke in rehabilitation hospital was recruited. All participants were tested level of basic daily activities using K-MBI. The driving ability of participants was tested using virtual reality driving simulator. The predictive validity was calculated of the K-MBI among pass or fail group of driving simulator test using receiver operating characteristics curves. Results: The cut-off score of >86.5 on the K-MBI is proper sensitivity to predict on driving performance ability. Conclusion: This pilot result offers clinical reference to therapists and caregivers for reasoning on driving recommendation period during rehabilitation stage of stroke survivors. Further studies need to identify prediction using real on-road test in a large population group.

  • Conventional methods for assessing remaining life of critical high temperature components in fossil power plants rely on nondestructive inspection practices and accompanying life analysis based on fracture mechanics By using these conventional methods. It has been difficult to perform uninterrupted in-service inspection for life prediction. Thus, efforts have been made for developing on-line remaining life monitoring systems employing information on the shape of structures, operating variables and material properties. In thus study, a software for on-line life monitoring system which performs real-time life evaluation of a high temperature system headers was developed. The software is capable of evaluating creep and fatigue life usage from the real-time stress data calculated by using temperatures/stress transfer Green functions derived in advance for the specific headers. The major benefits of the developed software life in determining future operating schedule, inspection interval, and replacement plan by monitoring real-time life usage based on prior operating history.

Study on Relationship Between Spatial-Perceptual Ability and Driving-Related Situation Awareness (공간지각 능력에 따른 운전-관련 상황의 재인 및 예측에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between spatial-erceptual ability and several aspects of driving-related situation awareness(in particular, recognition and prediction). Video clips of real driving were used in both recognition and prediction tasks, and the digit calculation task during driving the simulator was required as the integration task of recognition and prediction. The results showed that the subjects of higher spatial-perceptual ability performed better in recognition task, especially in terms of sensitivity measured in d'(as signal detection theory), prediction task, and digits calculation performance than those of lower spatial-perceptual ability.

  • 발전설비에 대한 비파괴 검사 기술은 발전소 운전 신뢰성 및 안전성 유지확보 그리고 건전성을 보장하기 위한 필수적인 기술이다. 이 설비 중 터빈, 보일러 등 주요 발전설비에 대한 초음파 검사는 매우 신중하고 정확하게 검사할 필요성이 있으나, 일반적 초음파 검사방법으로는 불가능한 부분이 많고 일부분에 대해서는 이를 외국 제작사 기술용역에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 발전기 로타 웨지와 같이 재질상 감쇄가 심한 재료에 대해서는 검사 자체가 어렵고, 지금의 초음파 검사 방법으로는 결함의 크기나 형태를 파악하기도 어려워 이에 대한 개선책이 시급한 실정이다. 최근에 개발이 시작된 Phased Array UT분야는 발전설비중 접근자체가 어렵고, 형상이 복잡하여 결함의 탐지 및 평가가 힘든 부분에 적용하면 검사신뢰도 및 신속성을 향상시킬 수 있으며 접근성에 대한 제한 또한 감소시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 발전기 부품에 발생하는 일반적인 결함에 대하여 Phased array UT 기술을 도입하여 신호의 특성을 분석하는 결과평가에 도음이 되고자 하였다.
